Big corporations what to buy up that property and develop it. They don’t want the people to return to NO. Even though these are the people, and the descendents of the people who made New Orleans, New Orleans. Without these people there would be no New Orleans, they created the food, the jazz, the blues, the Madri Gras, the funeral dirges slowly winding down the streets horns blaring feet shuffling to the beat. These people are the heart and soul of New Orleans. Hell they are New Orleans.They can bring in new people to cook the recipes, but it won’t have that soul. I read an article that stated they were underpopulated, and they needed workers. These are the workers. The people would worked in the service industries. The schools. The hospitals. The resturants and cafes. Brad understands this. And he speaks of it with such loving warmth and appreciation.

Again, I’m going to harp on the body language since the haters seem pretty quiet (probably because they didn’t find what they were hoping for), but the way he gestured when he talked about why men can’t adopt, specifically when he brought of the child trafficking aspect of it, OMG! It’s almost like he was shoving it away from Maddox, Zahara, and Pax, since it was possible that they could’ve been caught up in that situation if it wasn’t for governmental intervention and Angelina (and eventually, him).
I’m gonna watch it again, but I don’t think I’m projecting on him.

#147: freeda, you know that her name will forever be entwined to her ex just like Angie is to her exes. Ignoring her existence is called denial. Just because she doesn’t get good raves doesn’t mean she’s not there, ok? They are movie stars. One of the downsides of fame is that your history is so public.
I am glad that the interview was quite in-depth about the homes in NO - the designs, the competition, the different models. I also like the fact that they are attempting to do something new in the designs (some were a little to funky for my taste) and making it environmental friendly. He said something about if there was another hurricane, they could get to the roof easily and that another house was designed to float? That is simply amazing. This was a great interview about the work in the Lower 9th ward.
