he’s been riding all along. I remember an interview while hewas still (hate to even say it so I won’t) and the author said he pulled up on a bike. he also said Brad had a presence that one can’t grasp till you meet him

Who cares? Poison-Pitts BD…so what…..

All this talk about Brad’s 2004 CR interview got me curious, so I just watched. And while there’s a lot of interesting stuff, this was the part that made me go, “Wha??”

Talking about Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Brad gives his “it’s a metaphor for marriage, blending genres” spiel. And then this exchange happens.

CR: Would you do a movie like that with Jennifer?
BP: Um…we would have to be careful. We actually talked about it on this one.

Then he goes into how real-life couples in movies don’t usually work, blah, blah, blah.

OMG, there was a chance Jen might’ve done MAMS. Can you even imagine? What a disaster. And how different would so many peoples’ lives be today if she had? And knowing what we do of how influential Brad was in choosing the female lead, I can’t help but think that she wanted to do it and he shot her down. I mean, he was literally on the phone to Angelina convincing her to do the movie, all while his wife was one of the other casting options. To those who think that Brad never had much respect for her talent (her wanting to play Mariane, him saying denying that was ever an option), I think you’re right. Cause it sure looks to me like he didn’t want her in MAMS.
