OlderJamie Lynn Spears is Pregnant
Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old sister of Britney, is 12 weeks pregnant!!!!!!
The Zoey 101 star says the father is her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. Here are some interview snippets via OK!:
On the pregnancy news being a shock to her and Casey: “It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”
On keeping the news to herself when she first found out: “As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody. Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”
On her mother not liking the news of her pregnancy: “[My mom Lynne] was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all. A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”
On her future with Nickelodeon series Zoey 101: “I haven’t spoken to (Nickelodeon) personally, but they have always been so great to me over the past years and have given me so many opportunities.”
On the message she’s sending to other teens about premarital sex: “I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait. But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”
This will be mom Lynne’s third grandchild (Britney has two young sons herself). “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious,” Lynne says. “She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”
Nickelodeon’s statement: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

I saw this coming as well. I am surprised she did not have a kid at 14. She has been dating this guy since she was since she was 13. That whole family is WHITE trash.

Under both Louisiana and California law this qualifies as statutory rape.
In particular, there are lots of news reports that she is actually six months pregnant…meaning she got pregnant when she was 15.
But what is especially repulsive is that she is profiting off this.

Her boyfriend is 18!!!!!! If I remember correctly that is statuory rape. 16 will get you 5-7 if i got my jail calculations right.
I have no respect for her and I don’t feel sorry for her.
Where are her parents!?!?!?! I am sure they feel proud about this one. She is following in Britney’s footsteps and I don’t think that is a good thing.

She got pregnant. Not the first at her age and in 2007 she is having it and not going with other options. Best of luck to her and may the holidays be a great time for her to get the support of her family and friends.
