Jamie Lynn Spears, the 16-year-old sister of Britney, is 12 weeks pregnant!!!!!!
The Zoey 101 star says the father is her longtime boyfriend, Casey Aldridge. Here are some interview snippets via OK!:
On the pregnancy news being a shock to her and Casey: “It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected. I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”
On keeping the news to herself when she first found out: “As soon as I found out for sure from the doctor, I took two weeks to myself where I didn’t tell anybody. Only one of my friends knew because I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision. Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”
On her mother not liking the news of her pregnancy: “[My mom Lynne] was very upset because it wasn’t what she expected at all. A week after, she had time to cope with it and became very supportive.”
On her future with Nickelodeon series Zoey 101: “I haven’t spoken to (Nickelodeon) personally, but they have always been so great to me over the past years and have given me so many opportunities.”
On the message she’s sending to other teens about premarital sex: “I definitely don’t think it’s something you should do; it’s better to wait. But I can’t be judgmental because it’s a position I put myself in.”
This will be mom Lynne’s third grandchild (Britney has two young sons herself). “I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious,” Lynne says. “She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”
Nickelodeon’s statement: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

I wonder if the guy is doing a KFED. You know if Jamie is anything like her sister she will lose custody of her child to the guy. The guy will get a nice monthly salary just to be with his kid.

I was so shocked when I first read about this. DAMN! Pregnant at 16. Wow! She was just a little girl a few years ago. A baby having a baby. Wow I am still in shock of this news. SMH!

Oh man. Another shocking pregnancy right up there with Jessica Alba, but at least Jessica is in her late 20s. Preggers at 16??? Good luck with that one.
For those that say well at least she has the money to raise this child, no she doesn’t. She’s 16 so she can’t go out and get any job, and her reputation is now tarnished do the pregnancy. She has to support a child for 18 years. I would bet she hasn’t saved all the money she made on Zoey 101, so eventually she will have to try and get a job. Even if she finishes school and goes to college it isn’t an easy task when you have kids.

She didn’t have a scare a few months ago, she was pregnant. She is 12 weeks pregnant. 12/4= 3 months. It is grade school math.
I doubt that little girl planned it.
It is sad really, because her sister is bat s*** crazy, it makes her look worse. Everyone will come down on her that much harder.

Honestly, Lynne Spears is an awful mother, and this just proves it. She let both of her daughters get very famous very quickly, and look where it got both of them: Britney goes without saying; she’s a hot mess. And Jamie-Lynne is a child, about to have a baby. Lynne and Jamie Spears are two people who never should have become parents themselves.
