Wow, what a great looking family. At this time of the year it so nice to see families getting along and enjoying each others company.

I really don’t understand the need for so much hate. People need to remember that the only person hurt by what happened to Vanessa was Vanessa.. Therefore, using that as a reason for hating her is not a reason at all.

Also, how did it affect your life? Seriously, in what way did Vanessa being betrayed by someone she trusted personally affect YOUR life?

It’s just a love/hate relationship.
People who liked V before her photo scandal are upset not only that she took those pictures of herself but that people are still accepting her and are okay with her. People who never liked her have just found a new reason to hate her even more.

I think that what she did could have been done by a normal person, because up until a few years ago, presumably when she took the pictures, she was a normal person. So it is okay to forgive her because she admitted that she made a mistake.

People are just blaming her, but so many other teen queens have done the same, or worse, but come on, theyre celebs and no matter what they do, theyre still gonna get fame for it.

But I think that some people go too far because they defend V by saying that she really is a nice person, she spends time with her family, she does charity, she’s never seen drinking and partying, but how do you really know that? None of you really know who V is, not saying that she actually does this, but she could just be doing for attention, to seem better, who knows?

I think that it is okay to forgive her, but don’t giver her so much credit and back her up, saying things youre not certain of. And those pervs need to leave this site!

‘Tis the season for the haters I suppose.

With all the bad attention Ashley’s getting for her new nose and Jamie Lynn Spears is getting for her pregnancy, I’m pretty sure the haters don’t want people to forget “all the bad things” Vanessa has done (meaning the one bad thing she’s done. But to haters, one small mistake is like 1 million federal crimes). The people who are fans of either Jamie or Ashley are trying extra hard to divert the attention away from their girls by bring it back on V.

As for the comments, just ignore them. If you haven’t noticed yet, the two ultimate insults that people use to a girl is calling them fat or ugly. And when you’re famous, it’s calling a girl untalented or a money-*****. Vanessa happens to be none of the four, but that’s what everybody here uses on her because they can’t think of anything else. That and the pictures.

It’s unfortunate, but we know how great Vanessa really is, and, deep down, the haters know how great she is too. It’s just easier for them to hate her than to love her. It’s human nature. There’s nothing else you can do but grin and bear it. Vanessa has done a great job of doing exactly that, and that’s why we love her.

as for the others…I somewhat agree. Same w/ haters, fans are gonna assume about who the real V is based on how she portray herself in tv/pics/videos. The V of now isn’t really that different to the V of before. Looking at old pics, article and tour, Van has always been closed w/ her family. So, it’s safe to assume that she’s family oriented. As for the charity thing, same also. She has done some in the past. It wasn’t really highlighted like it is now because papz weren’t that interested. But I do think that Van has become more active now. As for Van’s wild side. She’s a teen ager, I’m sure she has her moments where she goes to friends parties and drink. Same w/ clubbing. There’s been pictures before. We’re just glad that she’s not going clubbing everyday, getting her herself drunk and making a fool out of herself.

After what happened, I’m sure that Vanessa had to grow up fast and make herself more mature. (am I making sense?) And like Kenny said, the fame and the scandal kind of robbed Vanessa her right to be a teen-ager and to have fun like a teen-ager. I’m sure she still have fun doing other things, but yeah…she has to be careful now since the camera isn’t really stopping.

I agreed with you about everything until you said that. We know that she doesn’t do that bad stuff, because we don’t SEE her doing that bad stuff. And trust me, if she were doing it, everyone would know. And because she’s said herself, that she doesn’t do that bad stuff. Now before you hop on about the pictures like I know you’re dying too, let me tell you this first. Not ONCE did she ever say, “No, I’ve never taken risque pictures of myself.” Nor did she ever say “No, I’ve never made a mistake before.” She may not have spilled her guts about the pictures, not that she needed to anyways, but she never lied about taking them. Also, I’m almost 100 percent positive that Vanessa being family oriented isn’t a trick. She’s seen with her sister A LOT. And with her family too. Even before she started being followed by the paps, we saw her with her family a lot. She took them on tours with her and everything. When she was filming HSM 1, they were with her. If it were really a ploy, then she must be REALLY dedicated, because that would mean it would have been a ploy that’s lasted the 2 (3?) years HSM became a phenomenon. So no, I don’t think people give her too much credit. I don’t say things I’m not certain of about her. I’m certain that she’s a good kid, who made a mistake, like any other teenage girl in America. And the world. But other than that, I agree with everything else you said.

Definately the wrapping narf. I always buy really nice wrapping paper and ribbon after Christmas, I have bags of it. I used to love shopping now I hate it. I always want to find the perfect gift. (just like the perfect Christmas card) You find what you want then they don’t have the right size but they have it at another store etc. Then you see it on sale a week later.

Hey V fans, if you’re wondering about Zac, he’s super busy these days with Seventeen. Tomorrow and Friday they are shooting a high school basketball game scene at Santa Monica High School, taking advantage of the students being on break. Many many students are there as extras. They are still casting extras if you are in the area.

Tony Parker is suing X17 for 20 million dollars. There is some karma for ya.

I know you’re not a hater Natalie, but truthfully we have evidence of V doing all of these things way before the scandal was even a glint in a hater’s eye, so I think most of us fans think the theory that she is doing it to help her image is complete nonsense.

Most of us never say that she doesn’t drink or party at all, just that she steers clear of the Hollywood hotspots and isn’t seen stumbling out of clubs in the wee hours of the morning looking like something the cat dragged in. I’m sure she probably does party (she’s my age and if she never partied, then I would probably be slightly worried), but all I’m saying is that I don’t believe defending her using the evidence we have is giving her too much credit. We’re fans, we love her and back her up no matter what, and if that means that sometimes we may go slightly overboard to combat the hate then, I guess that’s what we’ll do :)

I agree, ellie, that we have proof of her doing these things like charity, family time, etc., but for all we know, she could be doing it just to been seen by the papp. for a better image since her photo scandal. I’m not saying that she’s really a bad person and is just a fake, because I hardly doubt that, I think that she’s gorgeous, but I just think that some people give her too much credit, that’s all. Natalie, I agree with you completely. I think that people give celebrities way too much credit. It is unfair to judge a person merely on the way that they portray themselves in the media. I think that’s why it is always so shocking to find out things that they never intended for people to know, and it makes you think twice about them. Just some random thoughts here as I am only at #180 so I have a ways to go:

*saluting you* Vanessa was the one who got hurt by the picture, not these bashers. But then again, it seems to me that they want to keep HURTING her. It’s rather sadistic if you think about it. So, who really comes across as having a questionable character ? I think it is those people who continually have to bring up this ONE picture. They look pathetic as they only have ONE thing to harp about. Maybe I would be more impressed if they had something new to “expose” once a week or even once a month!

Also, as one poster pointed out, this girl admitted to this picture immediately. She didn’t try to lie, saying it wasn’t her or that someone had doctored a photo. She didn’t even hire spin doctors to “fix” the situation for her. She just admitted it and took her knocks and kept standing. So, now that you people have had your licks, be quiet. You’ve done your worst and now YOU are the ones who look silly.

I agree with this line of thinking. Vanessa never claimed to be anything but a teen. What do you people do behind closed doors? Is everything you are doing just OK with you to be seen by everyone on the net? She has a right to do normal everyday things that we all do but wouldn’t want the world to view. She’s a teen, she very well may have a drink now and then. She may do crazy things when with friends. Some of you bashing her have been to college and you know perfectly well the things you probably did. Others of you are too young yet to know what you will do in years to come, so don’t judge. Others must either have lived an overly sheltered life or are simply self righteous.

About the new/used car. There have been numerous times I have transferred tags—as Zac could have easily done—from an old car to a new one. In my state it is much easier to do this as sometimes a temporary tag runs out before you get your papers and tags from the state. Also, I don’t believe you get somebody else’s tag—if it is not your tag, you can’t have it or transfer it. At least in my state. So, I’m not completely convinced their cars are used. Maybe they went to an Audi dealer and lucked out in getting the cars they wanted, idk, it just seem unlikely. Maybe they were used as loaners or rentals, etc. Like I said, idk.

Wow, what a great looking family. At this time of the year it so nice to see families getting along and enjoying each others company.

I really don’t understand the need for so much hate. People need to remember that the only person hurt by what happened to Vanessa was Vanessa.. Therefore, using that as a reason for hating her is not a reason at all.

Also, how did it affect your life? Seriously, in what way did Vanessa being betrayed by someone she trusted personally affect YOUR life?

Were you the one who was humiliated in front of millions of people? Are you the one being called horrible names for something that was done to you? Are people saying your life and carreer should no longer exist? Are people saying YOUR significant other should dump you?

I agree. But I think she’s probably working out and losing those weight for a movie project. Those camera does give you 10 pounds more weight. I keep looking at HSM2 stills compared to behind the scene photos and for some reason, Van seems like she gained some weight.

sigh… oh well. I think Van has weird genetics anyway. meaning, her weight changes constantly in every photos. One minute I’d think she put a few more pounds, and the next day…I would see a picture of her looking like she lost more pounds, and hours later, jared would put up a pic again on that same day and she would look different again. hahaha..

I agree zvkg, she does look different in many of her photos. Don’t know if it is her hair, clothes, makeup or the angle of the camera, but she has many different looks. More than most people. Keeps her fans and the paps interested though , I’m sure. They must be thinking , I wonder what she will look like next…

Seriously though, I think sometimes it’s the PC screen. Her pictures always looks different depending on what monitor i’m looking at. At work, I use a regular 19″ monitor while at home I use a 19″ wide monitor..and she always look different. She looks much wider to me at home. Then, when I use my sister’s 15″ laptop it also looks different compared to my 17″ laptop. So yeah….
