52 houses! Congratulations, Brad, for the tireless effort. I have friends in New Orleans. Husband is an architect(!) but has not met Brad or had any connection with the group–yet–but with my urging he may meet him one day. They went out at night last week to see the houses lit up. I guess the nineth ward is now a tourist as well as local attraction. Brad, where are my hats, honey?

Brad should be nominated for best actor in Jesse James. He was fantastic. George Clooney was another version of George Clooney. No stretch whatsoever. Brad transformed himself into another human being to bring Jesse James to life. Phooey.

Brad only needs what 23 more houses donated then he and Bing will match that amount. Is that the way it works? Has anyone seen GC’s name? I hope he donates for Brad’s sake. But things seem to be moving right along. I know this not the reason he did this, but he should surely receive some type of recognition for this idea and his efforts. Especiall after today’s protest. It is evident that there is a mighty need for low cost housing in NO. The protest centered around public housing being torn down, and no replacements immediately in sight. I know MIR is not public housing but it helps to put the spot light on the housing situation in NO. Peace

PT, Stewart Scott of ESPN has cancer. I forgot which type, but it is serious. I really like him. I was wondering where he was as I hadn’t seen him lately. Pray for him. Peace

Dan Patrick left ESPN now Scott is sick. I liked Scott’s phrases like “As cool as the other side of the pillow”. I wish him well.

Thank you Dina #1, that’s very kind of you. Nice to be missed as well! I have been checking into the site for pics every day of course, but I had to restrict myself on comments for a while. The trolls a few weeks ago were making me so angry that I was about to foam at the mouth. I had to step back or I was afraid I would bash my monitor!!

I just don’t understand the level of nastiness directed toward two people who give us so much of themselves in entertainment, then try to make the world better for everyone as well as giving love and a good home to four beautiful children. Two people who have never done a single hateful thing to the trolls who live here to bash and condemn and judge and criticize. See? I am beginning to foam already!!

Thanks for the heads up about TMZ TV. I usually don’t watch their show, but found out we had one more airing tonight in my area, so I rushed home from the office and caught it. So cute!!! That’s if you ignore their snarky narration. It’s actually better than Extra’s segment because they have more footage. But they did get the kids wrong. It definitely was Shi sitting behind Brad and Z sitting behind Angie. And yes, Angie and Brad are both trying to soothe one of the kids. My guess is that it was Pax, because Angie says something about “…baby boy” before she says “It’s okay, calm down.” Hopefully, TMZ will upload their footage onto their website. Now I understand why they love NOLA so much. They were able, for the most part, to ride in relative privacy. Just like a normal family. Sweet!

Well…time to finish wrapping presents for my co-workers before going to bed. Goodnight! :-)

Regarding the story of how they saved Christmas for somebody: It was a guy with a little shop that sold flowers and toys. He had been going thru hard times and he was praying for God to help him and his family and give him a sign. What do you know…Angie appears with Brad of course. They were looking for toys, toy cars which he had aplenty. They spent 70 bucks and gave him 200. Told him to keep the change. 130 dollars profit plus a posed photo of the couple as tip. Guess he got his answer and he’s happy. Business probably picked up after that. He’s very happy and thankful to his angel. They showed Angie and Brad with kids in the background. Not sure if they were the store owner’s kids or just bystanders.
