Zac Efron sports a strange (and laughable) hairpiece on the set of his new movie Seventeen in Santa Monica, Calif. on Thursday
Say wha-aaaaaaaat?
Seventeen tells the story of a 36-year-old man, in need of a major life do-over, who wakes up in the body of studly high school senior Mike O’Donnell (Efron). Matthew Perry (Friends) plays the older version of O’Donnell. Michelle Trachtenberg (Buffy) and Melora Hardin (The Office) also star.

I know they need extras on the set. They have the high schoolers come back during winter break and try and do whatever they can. My cousin goes there and she flipped out because they announced the extras have to start filming Saturday, lol.

Yeah, it probably is. But they’re like kicking it into overdrive over winter break so it doesn’t interfere as much anymore. She said that the only five days they aren’t filming are Dec. 24, Dec. 25, Dec. 26, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1. Yeah, they’re making them work on New Year’s Eve, but doesn’t Zac have to be somewhere for a New Year’s Celebration or something? So that’s probably the only reason they got New Year’s Eve off.
Gregg that just shows how nice Zac is and not some stuck up actor. He is so down to earth. Good for Zac…

The film is present day, so the scene would have to be a flashback to Mike when he was really 17 back in 1989. Then when the older Mike morphs into the yong Mike in 2007, he will look like the Zac we’ve seen walking around on the scent recently. With the shorter hair.

No no, it’s only 1am here. I’m a night owl. And my finals are over, hurrah! I love him in the musicals don’t get me wrong. I never watched Summerland, so HSM was the first time I had ever seen him. But, I want to see his comedic timing and energy without singing and dance routines you know?
I FINALLY got the HSM2 dvd. A friend gave it to me for Christmas. I haven’t watched everything- finals have kicked my butt and today I did all my Christmas shopping. But, I fully intend on enjoying all the extras. I did see the bloopers, they’re great. And that Hookamaka-whatever song had me rofl!! I could not watch it with a serious face, especially when Sharpay mimics how Troy’s part would sound by singing with a deep voice. I lost it when she did that.

I got a ghetto version of a cabbage patch doll that a family friend hand-made. I cried for so long and refused to play with it. My mom refused to spend “that kind of money just for a doll” as she put it. I’m not bitter at all, no!
ellie we had those discs here in the US too but I think they were called something else, can’t remember.
Oh yeah, HSM is taking over the world! When I was Christmas shopping I saw clothes, toys, chocolates (ooh and lollipops with thw wildcats’ heads on them which were actually kinda creepy now that I think about it), books, dolls, games…My Dad wanted to buy me a set of HSM maracas for Christmas :)

I saw those maracas today!! And frisbees, water bottles, disposable cameras, mp3 players, cell phone chains, place mats… I would love to see the lollipops, they sound fascinating (and a little creepy) I’d probably just shake my head and laugh but think it’s brilliant.

It’s hard to just let go when death takes someone ‘too soon’ or when you feel as though you didn’t get the chance to say goodbye. That important closure that helps most cope with loss unfortunately wasn’t given to you this time. Not to get to preachy or religious, but I believe God only throws the tough stuff at those of us strong enough to handle the weight. You haven’t been given something you can’t handle. You are handling it, and you’ll continue to do so. And I hope being around here chatting with us can give you- even if just for a moment, a bit of relief.

#411- I think a lot of fans here are in the same boat as you- so of course we don’t find it weird! I’m 23 and love HSM. My boyfriend is so sweet to put up with my watching it countless times, blasting the soundtrack in my car, and all other HSM nuances I find funny.

Yep, Wikipedia is an open encyclopedia. Anyone can contribute and the only way erroneous information can be corrected is if another user corrects it. For this reason, most schools and Universities ban students from using Wikipedia for projects because the information can not be trusted. I know personally that at my uni, a lecturer can make you re-write an essay or even give you a failing mark if you rely completely on wikipedia for you information.

I think Zac’s hair is more funny than “gay”. Although, why use the word gay to desrcibe it? Kind of sad that some of you use the word so casually. ‘Stupid’, ‘womanly’, ‘hideous’, ‘ugly’, ‘frumpy’…. get a dictionary and find a more educated,less offensive word to get your point across. That is so true Audrey, I get frustrated that people have to use that word. Although, I have feeling that most of the ones who do are too young or ignorant to know the original meaning of it was being happy or joyful, which explains their lack of a better vocab right there. :)

Hi all! Don’t know what is wrong with the computer here at work but I have been unable to get onto Just Jared all night. Of course it seemed quite busy and maybe that had something to do with it.
Now, I will say what I have been feeling since I have had a chance to read all these comments. I was quite upset about the earlier posts between dalia, greg, posh, etc. I think everybody who is a Z/V supporter and are regular posters should take this into consideration before losing their cool. The night before on the Vanessa and family thread there was somebody or somebodies who were posing as regular posters. Most of the posts were obviously by imposters but it still can throw people. Now, tonight on this thread I have noticed there are a lot of imposters trying to have a sick laugh at our—the “regulars” expense.
I believe when the spice girls were on here before they decided to make peace and when they left they got things straightened out with whoever they were battling with. That is why I seriously doubt Posh came back to try to start a war and the fact of all the imposters here tonight trying to pit the regulars against each other. I think one or two were amusing themselves in seeing all the unrest they were causing. Perhaps it is due to Christmas breaktime and the kiddies have nothing else to do. Troy, V-Loyalist, zvkg, and myself have had someone posing as us or insulting us. It really started bigtime since Vanessa’s last thread. I just think we all need to stop, take a deep breath, and think before we rifled off a angry post. Let’s be sure that sound like the person or if someone is trying to be ugly, etc.
Also, please don’t believe what you read on wikipedia OR IMDb for that matter. Anyone can add “info” and sometimes haters love to go to those sites just like this one and print horrible things because they know people will believe it.
