they actually have been filming it since late summer 2006 and most of 2007. Doug Liman is also widely known as a director that does a lot of reshoots, etc. not to mention the fact that filming was extensive due to them filming in lots of locations such as Tokyo, Toronto, Rome, NY, LA, etc.

When the show started out and it was extremely successful, girls (who are jealous by nature) could not handle their resentment towards the BEAUTIFUL and MODEL-ESQUE Mischa…so everyone went with the only other choice given, just to say that Mischa was ugly. In a response to the stupidity of “Women should have curves” they said they LOVED Rachel cause at the time, Rachel was a little pudgier (Or definitely not as slender as Mischa) and Rachel’s popularity soared. However, Rachel herself knew why…and she immediately became (And still is) a stick- and is even thinner than Mischa now.

Are any of her features particularly pretty? She’s your average short girl with super straight brown hair and a round face who comes from Long Island and hangs out in the meat packing district on Friday and Saturday night wearing stupid willowy dresses and ballet flats. She’s got ugly lips, yellow teeth and nothing really exquisite about her.

She’s a bad actress. Not even mediocre. She’s a BAD actress. She was on THE OC. That was a BAD SHOW. She acts like a stupid teenage girl- another reason she’s so popular. Acting like an idiot is popular now- hence the hills and laguna beach. Shopping and walking around in big sunglasses (Which is basically all this girl ever does) is worshipped now adays… and that’s what she’s known for.

She dresses safe, and boring. Mischa is by far a better dresser- but she dresses like someone who is truly involved in fashion…and really? No one- especcially not teenage America understands that. So Mischa’s designer couture in her Cavalli and Chanel is wayy too Avante-Garde for the public. Rachel in her stupid Alice + Olivia frocks are much more safe with her simple ballet flats and big sunglasses and long hair. She’s every other Long Island girl who is TRYING to be a celebrity- only she got lucky.

I just came back to say one more thing. Yes, I agree with you irishdreams. People are worshipping the “celebrity” more than they are taking notice of the art of what these people do. Christensen has the right attitude. Celebrity is way overrated. And, people need to lay off him about his acting. Other than how his major film career got started, his career, in a way, mirrors that of Johnny Depp. The majority of Depp’s movies weren’t very well received in the beginning of his career either. People never thought Depp would be an A-lister but look at him today. Depp’s one of the undisputed best actors out there. Christensen’s career is going a similiar route. Christensen is taking chances and trying to grow as an actor and artist. Just like Depp did and still does. Not all Depp’s films are popular “hits” nor does Depp want them to be. Nor are Depp’s films “flops.” Has anyone thought about that and the fact that Christensen may feel the same way? Christensen is only going to get better with age. People need to get a hold of their hormones and start thinking intelligently about things. Some of Christensen’s films AREN’T mainstream. They aren’t meant to be popular “hits.” Just like a huge chunk of Depp’s films weren’t and aren’t mainstream. And, to the Star Wars fanatics: Grow up, get over it already, and move out of your parents’ basement. Star Wars isn’t all that and, if they hadn’t noticed, the whole damn thing sucked because a potentially iconic story got messed up by a director/writer who can’t tell a storyand was more concerned with what kind of visual effects can be done with computers in this day and age. None of the actors were good in Star Wars because Lucas didn’t give them anything to work with and actually be good. Star Wars is nothing but a display at what ILM can do and nothing more. A great story, great acting performances and, oh god, great dialogue come number 5 million on down the list of important things to Lucas. Yes, Christensen’s hot but what about what he can do as an actor and now turning producer? So far, he hasn’t had much of a chance to prove it and what he has proven is great things are going to come from him in the future once he gets a hold of the right films and stories.

Exactly. We’re thinking on the same wavelength. It’s all about publicity and them using the slightly higher profile Hayden has b/c of Star Wars. Hey Just thinking..I do agree with you on the publicity idea..I do think Hayden has gotten way over his head with this movie..Liman got publicity when Jolie and Pitt began dating off the set and then Pitt divorced Anisted which didn’t make him look all that good dating his co-star when he was married..Guess Liman thought since both of these two are single it would work for the better only problem is Bilson is a substandard actress and only well liked because of her OC days when she dated Adam Brody..seems that many people adored those two as a couple but her own fans seem not to like H/R as a couple.

But, he was signed to his contract before Rachel was so he was screwed from the get go from the moment Liman replaced Teresa Palmer with Rachel. I think Liman intended to use it from that moment on and Rachel waas more than happy to go along with it b/c she is a bad actress. At best, you can barely believe her in a TV role. And, yeah, Liman needs to sell Rachel b/c he even stated at the heart of the Jumper story is a love story. If you can’t believe there’s a connection between them, then how can you sell the love story aspect of the story. The tacky way to sell that connection is to make people think there’s a real ife love connection between them.
