‘Jumper’ Movie Stills
In Jumper, a genetic anomaly allows Hayden Christensen to teleport himself anywhere - including the Great Pyramids of Egypt. He finds himself in a war that has been raging for thousands of years between “Jumpers” and the deadly Paladins, a secret sect sworn to destroy him and his kind. She’s average in every way.
She’s average Jane.
When the show started out and it was extremely successful, girls (who are jealous by nature) could not handle their resentment towards the BEAUTIFUL and MODEL-ESQUE Mischa…so everyone went with the only other choice given, just to say that Mischa was ugly. In a response to the stupidity of “Women should have curves” they said they LOVED Rachel cause at the time, Rachel was a little pudgier (Or definitely not as slender as Mischa) and Rachel’s popularity soared. However, Rachel herself knew why…and she immediately became (And still is) a stick- and is even thinner than Mischa now.
Are any of her features particularly pretty? She’s your average short girl with super straight brown hair and a round face who comes from Long Island and hangs out in the meat packing district on Friday and Saturday night wearing stupid willowy dresses and ballet flats. She’s got ugly lips, yellow teeth and nothing really exquisite about her.
She’s a bad actress. Not even mediocre. She’s a BAD actress. She was on THE OC. That was a BAD SHOW. She acts like a stupid teenage girl- another reason she’s so popular. Acting like an idiot is popular now- hence the hills and laguna beach. Shopping and walking around in big sunglasses (Which is basically all this girl ever does) is worshipped now adays… and that’s what she’s known for.
She dresses safe, and boring. Mischa is by far a better dresser- but she dresses like someone who is truly involved in fashion…and really? No one- especcially not teenage America understands that. So Mischa’s designer couture in her Cavalli and Chanel is wayy too Avante-Garde for the public. Rachel in her stupid Alice + Olivia frocks are much more safe with her simple ballet flats and big sunglasses and long hair. She’s every other Long Island girl who is TRYING to be a celebrity- only she got lucky.
it’s really sad that people like HER are worshipped by America…when really, there’s just nothing special going on.
There’s no denying that Bilson is constantly & pathetically forced down to the public’s throats as some major star. Even though she has yet to make a solo non-crappy TV show on her own or a movie that the average person can even remember seeing, Hollywood’s typical manufacturing machine is WORTHLESSLY working on her - the not so attractive, not all that talented product of the Hollywood machine. Put her on some magazine covers, throw her in a few high fashion outfits, documenting her shallow living in the rag tabloids most of the time if not every time and continually pipe in the public’s mind that she is the next “it” person. Then eventually yet “fleetingly” some credulous minds will believe it.
To think that it’s the media hype are what those starlets sign up for just to maintain or upgrade their Hollywood status. She is no more talented or prettier than an American idol contestant. She just had hired a better publicist and PR agents. That’s all there is and nothing more. But if that were the only kind of publicity she can generate, she’d just be better off hiding under a huge rock…

No! Rachel is not stick thin to me. She’s got a rocking little figure but, so does a lot of girls especially, the one’s that go to the high school where I work. Rachel does look just average to me. I have to agree Plain Jane. I think Rachel was born in Los Angeles. She’s a California native. I never heard of her being from Long Island but, she does have some similarities to the young Amy Fisher in her day. LOL!!! As far as Rachel being so popular I, don’t get it???
I think Hayden is perfect for the role in Jumper and Jamie Bell looks good in it too. I have seen Awake recently and Hayden really CAN act! Of course I, have always know that! Hayden did fabulous in Awake. I don’t understand David Lieman’s reasoning for hiring Rachel??? Rachel looks like she plays the typical damsel in distress.

Well since both Bilson & Liman are connected w/ OC the saying that goes “charity begins at home” just “clearly yet unwarratedly” works for the two of them.
