Zahara Loves Rubber Duckies
Angelina Jolie carries daughter, Zahara, almost 3, around the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday.
Princess Zee wore a colorful (but traditional) Kung Fu jacket, which is often worn by martial artists. She is going to kick some major booty when she grows up. Zee accessorized with a long, beaded necklace with pink rubber duckies and a pair of heart-prints pants. Cute!
Older brothers Maddox and Pax were also along for the stroll.

Yep. Her daughters are BOTH going to be knock-outs…but…their hair in thos photos? Far worse than anything we’ve EVER seen from Z. Gee…maybe we can blame it on their white father not knowing how to take care of his black daughters’ hair…except, he and Thandie are still together and ultimately, as a black woman, it’s HER responsibility to make sure her children’s hair meets the standards set forth by the Hypocritical Black Women of America’s Black Children’s Hair Care Society. Thandie is surely going to be embarrassed when she realizes that her children aren’t up to their high standards.

Once again Shiloh gets left out. If they aren’t going to include her in family fun, then give her to a family that will not abandon her and take her out places. It sickens me how Shiloh is hardly with her family, yet when Zahara was Shiloh’s age, she went everywhere.

I just saw that TMZ video that someone posted on the other thread - that Z is just too much! Plus, I had to laugh at TMZ’s caption, “ZAHARA WALKS!” LOL. Not only that…but Pax walks, too. And how cute is it that Angie still calls Mad “Madness”?

Yeah, she was happy and bouncing around until then. That’s when Angie picked her up and carried her. Until then Z was dancing along without a care in the world. And Pax is wearing some cute little mask on his face. But, Mad and his Brad-alike cap? Too funny!
I wonder if those who ask “where is Shiloh” have ever heard of span on control. In every situation parents have to ask if tey can keep all children safe. Having 4 small children, there are instances where having a 1-1/2 along is not wise. When Zahara was a baby, there was only Maddox and Z, with 2 parents. So it was logistically easier to take her out more. Shiloh is the youngest of 4 small children (3 of whom are toddlers.) They have to navigate the paparrazi, curious onlookers, fans, etc. And they have to keep the famiily safe. I am sure there are plenty of family events where all 4 kids participate.
It’s the AGE !!!! You should read any child developmental book. Children this young, makes a big difference in a lot of the motor skills, and daily schedule. It is this daily schedule which dictates how convenient it is to take them outside the house.
A child 19 months is totally different from a child 18 months or 20 months old even it is only a month apart. Also, sometimes the child may have a cold or ear infection. As any mother knows, it’s better to let the child rest at home.
1) Shiloh, not quite 19 months old as of today, still takes at least 1 nap a day. Sometimes, it would be very inconvenient to haul her out when it’s so close to her nap time. Ask any mother, they will tell you. But of course, those low life tab magazines which sells to tweenies wont know enough to tell the difference.
2) If you look at the following URL, you will notice that while Mad was in many of the outings , Z was not BECAUSE she was too young at that time . Note her age when she was absent on those outings and also note what kind of outing it was and decide for yourself if that was necessary to bring her along.

7/25/06 Brad and Angie took Mad out to lunch and walked on the beach. Angie walked without shoes on Z (18 months) was ABSENT.

As a Black woman I myself love the way Angelina Jolie has Zee’s hair in this picture. It is natural and beautiful.
I admire Ms Jolie in that she has not tried to put this child in a cookie cutter box at such a young age,about her hair which is a different texture then anyone else in her family. It seems as if she is instilling within Zee pride about her self. Whether her hair is in ponytails or in a natural fro.
Angelina Jolie as a Mother has done a good job with Zee ’s hair whether it is in pony tails or it is natural, especially since she doe not have a lot of experience with this texture of hair.
