Angelina Jolie: Bicycle Built For Two
Angelina Jolie has a mother-daughter moment with Shiloh, 18 months, as the pair take a bike ride through the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana on Saturday afternoon.
The couple started off down their street when the chain on Angie’s bike came undone. One of her bodyguards came to her rescue to repair the bike. Brad was seen getting a little chuckle out of the incident.
Brad was seen pedaling the other three kids–Maddox, 6, and Pax, 4, in a kids’ chariot carrier, as well as Zahara, 2, in a kid’s bike seat.

I don’t consider Russell Simmons a leader or an elder statesman; but whenever something goes down in the hip hop community, he is the one who is called upon by the press to speak about the controversy. The bad language/censorship issue in hip hop and the ‘no snitching’ bull$hit comes to mind. And I’m still scratching my head about hip hop’s lack of vigilence when it came to the slaughter of their brethren like Tupac, Biggie, and Jam Master J. H@ll, J was a significant component to Russell’s success and yet, no dogged pursuit of his murderer on Russell’s part.
And for the record, there really isn’t any ‘black leadership’. I wouldn’t follow some of these ‘leaders’ down a dark alley, much less their path to justice.
Russell Simmons is well within his rights to question whether this will work, but at some point someone has to go out on a limb regarding NOLA; he didn’t. The old hip hop tradition of voicing your pride about where you came from could’ve translated into cash or plans to restore a region that was obliterated by Katrina. There are so many moguls who could’ve banded together to get something going in NOLA; I doubt that clothing lines, manufacturing music groups/reality shows, chasing models/strippers, etc. took all of their time and energy.

Alex—Ohhhh thank God!!! I’m not the only one :lol: I watched it when it was on TV, then I watched it a couple more times online but didn’t remember seeing that part. It was funny. Which goes to show that he always loved pranks but many people think it’s b/c of GC he suddenly gets this funny side. That was in 1999!……….

As much as I love hip hop, I am disappointed. I am still waiting for them to make their moves regarding NOLA and the community. Still waiting after 3 years.

I hear you loud and clear! But how do WE know the 1million didn’t come from a black celebrity, maybe even RS. We’ll never know.
I understand your point, clearly, trust me I do. But don’t just slam so many black celebs who MAY be doing Great stuff on the down low. I can understand MOST may not be doing anything but taking our money and living well like the RS’s of the world. But keep in mind there are a FEW like DW who are doing something and it may not be directly related to NOLA but some kind of way it is. I hope I’m clear, but if not, that’s okay as well.
Instead of bashing the black celebs, why not get together and write to them and put their feet under the fire and ask “hey, here’s this WHITE GUY/GAL doing all this stuff for NOLA (us), what about you? You take our money and live well…so what have you done LATELY…”
Instead of fueling the fire…redirect it and then see where their true hearts are. I bet if we boycott enhancing their lifestyles like we do when a corporation sides with people like Don Imus…I bet they will start listening then. But again, it’s not all BLACK celebs…let’s target those who sit back and through fiery darts at those helping NOLA and other hurting cities in AMERICA!!! Stop talking about it here and actually do something…like Brad and Angie. Cuz if we don’t…we’re just like the black celebs we’re talking about!

Guli, it was funny and cute and been a fan of Brad for a while, I always thought he was funny and kind of have this devilish side to him lol and that was before he and GC starting doing the Oceans’ movies and became friends
Theres two reason why JP fans hate WS…
1. Because he’s black
2. Because he’s TC friend.

Thank you! Everytime they say black leaders, I’m like, damn missed the vote again! Where the heck is my polling place?! Why aren’t there term limits? (Yeah Al did a good job in Jena, but it’s time for he and Jesse to step aside)
As for the hip hop community, ITA with your points. Many had something to say on the gov’ts lack of action, did they take any action?
the way that I see it is as follows:
1.) Do NOT expect any of Pitt “close friends in Hollywood” to adopt a house.
2.) Expect more criticism that this project will not work. Why? there a certain person with money and clout that aint happy eating that cheese-cake while listening to Pitt at CNN giving us an update on the MIR Project or Jolie doing her activist work AND acting. See, these guys(Pitt and Jolie) have ruined the fun. FUN FUN FUN and no work.
Now together, they have fun and work too.

For the record, my beef with WS has nothing to do with his association with TC.
My problem with him is that he was behind getting rid of the original and definitive Aunt Viv.
If he’s HW’s new B.O king, good for him. But I haven’t plunked down any of my money to see any of his flicks. I did see I am Legend, but that was because a friend needed to get rid of some passes because they were about to expire.

Hey everyone Oceans 11 is on TBS but an even better film is on TCM called Christmas in Connecticut. Fun & fabulous.Barbara Stanwyck plays a Martha Stewart type in the film, but the reality is that she’s a fraud. She can’t cook, she lives in a walkup not a farm in Connecticut and has no children although she dishes out advice on childrearing in her magazine column. You will all love it. the movie is all about how she is revealed as a fraud. Fun. It’s a new classic to choin Miracle on 34th Street and It’s a Wonderful Life.

Sheri, why didn’t you take some action and ask the questions: Where are you now? What can you join in to do? When will you join in?
Brad asked corporations and big wigs…remember the dinner he and Angie attended? Okay when he saw not too many would support in that manner (I’m guessing not sure, haven’t read about an insurmountable donation from that dinner) …
Anyway, when help didn’t come from that avenue, he took another and that’s why we have more “REGULAR” folks donating than none. If you see our so called black leaders not doing anything…don’t complain and be mad about it…do something. Get out there and do something! Haven’t we NOT learned anything from BP/AJ? They don’t have to be out in the cold weather giving interviews about a place they have no REAL roots…they could be in their FQ home sitting by the fire place, sipping egg nog with their kids…or even be in sunny California tucked away in their huge compound…but no their here in NOLA doing something…so why can’t we…the fans ask the black leaders where are you and what are you going to do?
Don’t give me…I gave $$$ to MIRF. What I’m reading…that’s not enough, we black people and some white want to see black leaders take a stand…well push them!
Now how do we get started…cuz I’m ready. Are you?
