OlderBrad Pitt Kicks It With John Norris
Brad Pitt films another interview with MTV VJ John Norris (pink Chucks) for MTV News in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday.
Undoubtedly, the activist actor talked up his “Make It Right” project, which aims to continue to help the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
“It’s been fantastic,” Brad has said about America’s overwhelmingly response to chip in. “We’ve had 12,000 people across America come in and donate. We’ve had people like Will Ferrell come in and adopt a house. Our initial goal was 150 houses, and we’ve got 52 houses that have been adopted, which means 52 families.”
He added, “It’s working. It’s really working. It’s that thing we talked about of people coming together and people helping people, and that’s where America’s great.”
But it’s not over yet! There’s still time to donate at MakeItRightNOLA.org.
“We got two more weeks to go,” Pitt said. “I need people out there to come in and adopt the other 100 homes. And hopefully by that time we’ll see this whole neighborhood symbolically put back together.”

WB is full of sh*t; they never put any effort into marketing AOJJ.. When critics started to complain that they weren’t given adequate time to preview the movie WB came up with some B/S explanation saying it was a lie and they were gonna release the movie wide… The movie never made it to more 301 theaters, the movie didn’t even open up to more than 2 theaters in JJ’s home state… Some one mentioned that it only opened in 10 theaters in the UK, so how much money was this movie supposed to make. It wasn’t given a chance….

Yes, he does come across as very insecure and unable to coherently put together a thought. He’s like Bush, I cringe everytime I hear him speak. I always felt this way about Brad.
I can’t stand to listen to people who struggle to speak clearly. It annoys me, regardless of who they are. Pitt is one of them. He looks as if he’s more concerned with how others percieve him(insecure people are occupied with this) than with what he’s saying. At this age he should have a better command of the language and how to present himself. He comes across as an idiot, just spewing out someone else’s thoughts. This is not a movie. He should be better prepared.
I am in no way negating the good that he is doing, but, he could present it a little better. Maybe more that 12,000 people would have signed up by now; in a nation of over 300 million.

Don’t worry. TAOJJ is considered a painting on film, it’s a masterpiece. Like most of Brad’s films it’s not unitil a few years after that most people appreciate it. He congratulated Casey Affleck on Larry King Live last night and Larry congratulated him and Angelina on A Mighty Heart too. I agree with most that Warner Bros. could have had a better marketing plan for the film. They let the fear of the lenght of the film get to them. In their minds, they were thinking about how to market a almost 3 hour film instead of marketing the subject matter. They could have targeted the midwest and west for this film since it’s part of the heritage of those areas but it hardly even opened in that part of the country. Which doesn’t make sense. Anyway this film was made a loooong time ago and Babel which was made after TAOJJ and came out before it was a critical success for Brad.
Is this the same John Norris with the gap in his teeth? He’s still on MTV?

Neither Pitt nor I is perfect…and I articulate well enough to sell what I’m marketing. A critical analysis isn’t a bad thing…maybe noone tells him…and , ultimately, he doesn’t get better.
Please I want to know whether AOJJ opened in Italy or will open in Italy?

Cook, me too regarding the holidays, am just waiting for it to come, oh really your son is not excited for gifts, then he is one in a million, cause some kids are like all over the gifts and can’t wait to see what they are getting for Christmas especially my nephews lol.
During the “Big Tuna Era” was great, I love those guys, now I really can’t stand that coach and sometimes I wish I could put my hand through the TV and smack Eli upside his head, he drives me and I bet the rest of the Giants’ fans crazy with the way he plays and yep he is no Peyton that for sure.
