OlderBrad Pitt Kicks It With John Norris
Brad Pitt films another interview with MTV VJ John Norris (pink Chucks) for MTV News in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday.
Undoubtedly, the activist actor talked up his “Make It Right” project, which aims to continue to help the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
“It’s been fantastic,” Brad has said about America’s overwhelmingly response to chip in. “We’ve had 12,000 people across America come in and donate. We’ve had people like Will Ferrell come in and adopt a house. Our initial goal was 150 houses, and we’ve got 52 houses that have been adopted, which means 52 families.”
He added, “It’s working. It’s really working. It’s that thing we talked about of people coming together and people helping people, and that’s where America’s great.”
But it’s not over yet! There’s still time to donate at MakeItRightNOLA.org.
“We got two more weeks to go,” Pitt said. “I need people out there to come in and adopt the other 100 homes. And hopefully by that time we’ll see this whole neighborhood symbolically put back together.”

Pitt and Jolie are learning what Liz Taylor learned decades ago. That an affair in hollywood can ruin your career, even temporarily. People choose sides.
Jolie was never an established actress in H’wood. She had not yet built up the insider base that a Kidman or Streep or Roberts has. So, there is a backlash against their movies. The publics’ backlash has reached the studio offices. If the public has turned against them, the studio is not, not, not, going to spend money on them.
Over time this may change, if the publics’ opinion of them changes. People are still angry at them for lying. Yes it was years ago. Liz Taylor recounted on Larry King how her affair with Eddie Fisher(which broke up his marraige to Debbie Reynolds) affected her career. Debbie was well-liked in H’wood. People choose sides.
Brad and Angelina will get past this, but, it will take time before the pubic en masse cares about their work. The constant lying both of them have engaged in has ruined their public persona. We know a little too much about them now. They should have given better thought to how they proceeded in 2003/2004.
Are some Americans whiners really? I used to read on the blog how they wanted the Jolie-Pitts to do something for America and now they are here, do something about your country and donate to the make it right project or just hold your mouth together.

Some people are better at things than others. I’m an active with other US Veterans (young and old) who support the military combat and peace time troops as well as other charitable donations that have affected me personally. I’m 43 and I’ve expressed my civil liberties since I became of age. I can’t donate to every charity. I say good for Mr. Pitt with all genuineness and NO sarcasm.

Has anyone heard Ted Turner speak to this day? How about Bill Gates when he first started public speaking. Gates is much better these days but in the past no so good.. Brad is doing a fine job. He is getting his message heard. People are responding. This is all that matters.
Brad Pitt has done so much for people in NOLA. He tirelessly promotes MakeitRight project even during the holiday season. No wonder Angie said he is an amazing man. He is the most amazing man. He is absolutely beautiful inside and out. This is very rare. Somebody is so beautiful physically and also has a beautiful heart. God Bless you, Brad and your family.
