OlderBrad Pitt Kicks It With John Norris
Brad Pitt films another interview with MTV VJ John Norris (pink Chucks) for MTV News in New Orleans, Louisiana on Friday.
Undoubtedly, the activist actor talked up his “Make It Right” project, which aims to continue to help the Hurricane Katrina-ravaged Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
“It’s been fantastic,” Brad has said about America’s overwhelmingly response to chip in. “We’ve had 12,000 people across America come in and donate. We’ve had people like Will Ferrell come in and adopt a house. Our initial goal was 150 houses, and we’ve got 52 houses that have been adopted, which means 52 families.”
He added, “It’s working. It’s really working. It’s that thing we talked about of people coming together and people helping people, and that’s where America’s great.”
But it’s not over yet! There’s still time to donate at MakeItRightNOLA.org.
“We got two more weeks to go,” Pitt said. “I need people out there to come in and adopt the other 100 homes. And hopefully by that time we’ll see this whole neighborhood symbolically put back together.”

Has anyone heard Ted Turner speak to this day? How about Bill Gates when he first started public speaking. Gates is much better these days but in the past no so good.. Brad is doing a fine job. He is getting his message heard. People are responding. This is all that matters.

Bill Gates is not very good speaker. But we have to admit he is smarter than all of us. Someone think Brad is not good speaker, he also is smarter than all of us. He has been the mega star for 15 years and now is taking his star power to different level. For people critizing him, can you achieve 1/10 of what he has achieved?
Brad is a big time CEO. He can run the country if he wants. Angie will be a good first lady.

This is why I thought it was strange that Tom Cruise was doing a Nazi movie right after this last movie. He along with Brad did to do an action movie. As I think Brad needs to do soon. Maybe he will think about doing a remake of Bullit. Actually Angelina has done quite a good mix recently. AMH (serious) Beowulf, Wanted, (Fun) and then The Changling (serious)

That’s why on CR Brad jokes and says he has to give them a Troy 2… yeah Brad knows the deal. None of his movies for the next couple of yrs are action movie though…..
. If he does not have the clout to move the government into changing what is going on in New Orleans, a house here or there “ain’t” going to make a difference.

It seems to me you don’t know what you are speaking about. Pres. Carter and Oprah have built homes in NO. But yet you post that if Brad can’t change the gov’t he should not do anything. Maybe you should think again.
I have immense respect for Brad and Angelina and their work and compassion for the less fortunate. I truly hope they are in love and have found happiness and contentment in an industry that does not seem to understand those basics.

I think Brad is a good speaker and I don’t care about what other people say. He’s intelligently, a CEO, knowlegeable. Runs Plan B, produces movies that are critically acclaimed. Runs Make it Right. Well planned, well organized. Rallied the best of the best architects around the world. Give it up and give credit where credit is due!

NPR has a spot about older people in Boston choosing between heating their homes and buying medicine needed for them to live. It was sad as one woman worried about either dying from the cold or dying from a heart attack. If these “designer” homes work and Brad can show that real people can live in a home that has low energy cost maybe NPR won’t have to do this same spot years from now.
As USA gets older and the distance between rich and poor become greater, answers are needed. What is the harm in Brad and his associates trying.

Guys, I just really got a chance to check out the NOLA video, and it was sooooo wonderful - as someone said, it really did look like something out of a romantic movie…they looked so sweet, with the hand holding…
..oh and i’m back on the train due to the M&M ‘craving’ that US reported on.

They are very much in love. Angie looks very small and very feminine next to Brad.
Brad and Angeline are wonderful. They’re giving their money, their name, their time, and their hearts to people who need help. It’s easy to love and care for your own family; Brad and Angelina show it is possible to help and care for others as well. Their actions impart a real and genuine kindess. Thank you Brad and Angelina for your noble and truly altruistic efforts.
I think a time will come when poor people will begin to throw stones at tabloids when they read all the garbage they put out about Brad and Angie. These two people are too nice that people take too much advantage of them. People just put out a lot of garbage that do not portray them rightly. Focus on those they are trying to help and please leave out their private lives.
