I agree with Kate…..these pics don’t look like her at all. #3 and #4 are definitely NOT her. Look at the nose….that’s NOT Vanessa’s nose. What kind of a rag is this magazine?? Even the first one is not her…..the eyes are too far apart. That looks like a painting or art of some sort, but NOT a photo. The rest are some Vanessa “wanna-be”.

Jessica, sorry, but I’m not a hater, nor jealous. I’m just not convinced those last 4 pics are her. It’s not her nose, even the lips in #4 are not hers. Look at pic #2- that nose is triangular. Vanessa’s is not at all like that one. I wish it was……it would look SO much prettier. Pic #3- it’s so not her. I would rather have seen the real Vanessa like this!!!!

I think it’s because you guys are soo used to seeing her in cute, bubbly teensy bopper magazine photoshoots that alot of the people just can’t picture her doing this.

It’s a mature, aesthetic, glamour photoshoot. She has heavy, dark make up on, and the camera and the settings potray her in a mature way. So yeah…I can understand why people don’t like it.

And considering that alot of her fans are tweens, then yeah…even more so.

Sorry I haven’t been here all day, last many Christmas shopping, I’m sure you all know how it goes.

I have to say that I appreciate what Vanessa was thinking by branching out and doing something so outside-the-box and avant garde. Kudos to her. But having said that I have to be honest…. I just don’t get it. LOL

Are we absolutely certain ALL these pictures ARE Vanessa? I’m with Go Sox I don’t think they are they don’t look like her at all. But maybe that’s the point. And that’s the artistic statement being made. I don’t know.

There is nothing “terrible” or morally objectionable here that would lead Disney (which does NOT OWN HER) to “fire” her *rolls eyes*.

So again kudos to her but I just don’t get it. *At least I don’t think I do.*

people, like i’ve said many many many times in the past, if you’re gonna hate then have legit reasons. or at least come up with better insults (not to mention NEW ones. outdated insults like “****!” and “ohh is she gonna take naked pics again” are so very outdated. please people, be more creative.)

nods. I understand perfectly. I took photography, and really…I know how lighting and make up can do wonders. not to mention when you’re in the dark room. pictures can be manipulated to make it look photoshopped.

It is out of the box for Vanessa and creative, however it isn’t that original. I would have been more impressed by something that showcased her fashion, rather than just her face with a lot of makeup on. It is nice to see her doing something different, however I’m not really sure how well she’ll be able to transition from Disney to adulthood. It has been done, but only a handful have done it successfully. Good luck Vanessa!

gross she looks more hideous with makeup on than without what is she promoting a lipstick for the chonga girls in Salinas, CA? the first pic is like a painting and whoever drew it is pretty good at showing everyone what people see when they look at Vanessa she should be embarassed then again she wasn’t when the pic incident happen

see “America’s Top Model” when they do the fashion shoots the
girls never look the way they do in real life. I like that she is showing a side
that is so different it makes people notice that she can be a chameleon.

I feel empowered by this site because the response to these pictures of Vanessa are overwhelmingly negative….a majority of people posting on this site now agree with me that Vanessa is a troll….you and narf and the rest are now in the minority. We are clearly winning.

I’m not gonna say that I don’t feel disappointed that some of the ZA’s can’t recognize (no offense), but in a way…I can understand why they don’t. Some of us are immersed in the bubbly, poppy, and tweeny Vanessa, that it’s kind of hard to see her when she’s covered in heavy make up. Not to mention that we’re so used to her not wearing that much.

but I gotta admit. pic number 2. I don’t know why…but I can already see that it’s Vanessa’s eyes. The nose looks weird because of the creese. but hey…it’s ok. Maybe it’s because I have experience w/ these type of photography that I could definitely see Vanessa in all that lighting and make up.

but yeah…

I love Vanessa, but I don’t really like these pictures. They just aren’t her. :/

actually i hang out with alot of Mexican people i have nothing against them. i just said a simple comment that reminded me of the Mexican girls that wear heavy makeup. it just seemed like she was doing a photoshoot based on them that’s all.

And even if you don’t like her. There are many many people
