OlderBrad & Angelina Love the Katrina Kids
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie listened to speakers discuss a study about children affected by Hurricane Katrina at Martin Luther King Jr. magnet school over the weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Angie took to the podium and spoke briefly of seeing strife throughout the world, including in New Orleans, and how education is the key to healing.
According to NOLA, Jolie highlighted a recent visit to city schools in which children exalted in the opportunity to learn and do homework.
“The children here are feisty and fun and full of pride,” she said. “That is the spirit that is going to pull everybody through.”
The Children’s Health Fund and Regional Council are putting in place a set of prescriptions to ensure that the physical health, mental health, and educational needs of some 46,000 to 64,000 children displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are met as soon as possible.

Brad and Angie have found their purpose and calling in helping kids and the less fortunate people around the world. I wish them the very best as they go through life’s journey together.
I think it’s great Brad and Angie want to help the world become a better place..but let’s get real..Hurricane Katrina did not make a direct hit on New Orleans La..it made a direct hit on the Mississippi Gulf Coast..Biloxi, Bay St.louis, Pass Christian etc..
Why is it you never hear of “studies” being done on the children there?

why is it you never hear of special “medicine” funds (for lack of a better term) being set up for the children on Mississippi?

The crowd at McDonalds were not that bad and were respectful when the BG camto move them back because of the kids. So right on NOLA. They really do love the Jolie Pitts.

that video on tmz was disturbing i felt so bad for brad,angie and the kids. could not even watch the entire thing.
But it is also good what they in doing in NOLA
TMZ video - its clear the paps were following the JP SUV up to the drive through of McD. Then the paps must have gone inside to get pictures of Brad at the pickup window. They alerted the people inside. What I notice beside the hysterical teenagers is how the teens backed off when they realized there were children in the van. NO residents have great respect for Brad and Angie and I think the second half of the video shows that. The teens had moved back voluntarily before the guard got there. As B&A drove off a couple of the girls yelled out “We love you”. This reminds me of what happend in Toronto but with far fewer people. And I don’t think the Toronto crowd backed off as quickly as the NO teenagers.
A big step to the Oscar!!!!!

Maybe you have not heard about it because Brad and Angelina have not gone to those places to give it the attention it deserves. But if you had clicked on the link Jared provided you would see that the CHF has programs for kids in all those places
