Brad & Angelina Love the Katrina Kids
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie listened to speakers discuss a study about children affected by Hurricane Katrina at Martin Luther King Jr. magnet school over the weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Angie took to the podium and spoke briefly of seeing strife throughout the world, including in New Orleans, and how education is the key to healing.
According to NOLA, Jolie highlighted a recent visit to city schools in which children exalted in the opportunity to learn and do homework.
“The children here are feisty and fun and full of pride,” she said. “That is the spirit that is going to pull everybody through.”
The Children’s Health Fund and Regional Council are putting in place a set of prescriptions to ensure that the physical health, mental health, and educational needs of some 46,000 to 64,000 children displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are met as soon as possible.

Hmmm… could the studies have been conducted on those children who were placed on buses, without their parents, and shipped to places they were not familiar with?
Or for those who bore witness to detestable conditions in ‘rescue centers’ like the Dome, where the dead were either left where they were or shoved into alcoves until weeks after the evacuees were bussed somewhere else?
Or maybe they witnessed their parents, the symbol of stability, lose it in the wake of the enormity of the devastation?
Sorry, but the children of NOLA certainly require more medical intervention than, say, Paris Hilton, when she had to face her month-long jail term.

hehehehe,I don’t know why they are so stupid, there was a picture of her in L.A with his husband.CC.so they don’t even check whether there is photo of her or not.
Brad Pitt should be the man of the year. He has done wonderful things for people in NOLA.

That was from the article Jared put up….but you are right, let’s all focus on what BP and AJ are wearing, that is soooooo like what is totally important right now…I mean like totally!!!
Oh and it’s unfair to blame their dressing for your psychiatric disorder when it’s as clear as day, that you’re just a depressing person (nice try though)
78,thanks for the page six video
angel @ 12/26/2007 at 3:37 pm 27,
NOLA WAS MORE AFFECTED

Absolutely not true. I have a friend in Biloxi, Miss. and he reports the entire area from Biloxi west to New Orleans was devastated. Some of the worst devastation occurred in Pass Christian, Miss.

LMFAO Are you blind??? Where do you see depressing? I see two people who could not possibly look happier. Look at their big, bright smiles! And all the good they’re doing for NO….how could that be depressing?
sick of them @ 12/26/2007 at 4:30 pm
How many freakin’ times do we have to say it — if you’re sick of this couple, GET THE HELL OFF THE THREAD! It ain’t rocket science, stupid.

Come on people! You can look good while doing good!!!
Appearance is everything! I wish Angie could wear something different than black like a tan color pant with a printed top, camel coat and little kitten heel. Brad could wear a navy casual pant with a beige polo shirt and a distressed tan leather jacket. Ditch the hat and the scalf and you got a well-dressed super couple look good and doing good. And there’s nothing wrong with that.
They could have mixed it up a bit. Don’t tell me that they don’t care what they wear. They should hire me, I’m known at work as the most stylist fashion savvy!!!!!!!!!!!

Sambo, you keep shooting yourself in the foot. So far the poll says 86% in favor of giving a child Shiloh’s age potato chips.
BTW, was it you who posted the comment on that site about Shiloh the Bástard? Coming from a freak of nature like you, it wouldn’t surprise me a bit.
angelina is incredibly beautiful; look at that face it’s unbelievable how good loooking she is!

Yes Brad did. Brad is the man. I don’t think they felt threatened by the kids acting like typical teenagers do.

*Yawn*
So what??
Luv Angie’s purse. Anyone know what it is?
kn #90, i hope you are kidding. i don’t think the people benifiting from the deeds brad and angelina do care what they wear. i’m sure sweats would suffice. you are really reaching for something to post. you must be so bored.
“They should hire me, I’m known at work as the most stylist fashion savvy!!!!!!!!!!! ”
Uh-huh. And I bet your WORK is SO much more meaningful than the VOLUNTEER work B&A do.
Thank God B&A have their priorities straight. You could learn something from them.
god bless the jolie-pitts!
XD
This isn’t a fashion, award show or a premier. They both look very simple and classy to me. And most important, very appropriate.
Honestly, I will appreciate anyone who can stick to promoting that people should help with what’s going on in NOLA and not turn this thread into any other negative stuff. Guess who makes money out of drama? Tabloids. Have you seen them helping anyone? Ignore tabloids and drama and have fun helping others.
