OlderBrad & Angelina Love the Katrina Kids
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie listened to speakers discuss a study about children affected by Hurricane Katrina at Martin Luther King Jr. magnet school over the weekend in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Angie took to the podium and spoke briefly of seeing strife throughout the world, including in New Orleans, and how education is the key to healing.
According to NOLA, Jolie highlighted a recent visit to city schools in which children exalted in the opportunity to learn and do homework.
“The children here are feisty and fun and full of pride,” she said. “That is the spirit that is going to pull everybody through.”
The Children’s Health Fund and Regional Council are putting in place a set of prescriptions to ensure that the physical health, mental health, and educational needs of some 46,000 to 64,000 children displaced by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita are met as soon as possible.

I have to admit I am not that much of a fashion person but I do love Angelina’s taste in coats and purses.

I knew they would do some sort of charity event for Christmas. And surely the press would follow. How special of them to take time away from their own children to donate their time to those less fortunate. Are there reports of what gifts they gave all these children for Christmas?
Hopefully the next phase of rebuilding will be schools and place of worship for all the children there. Are the children in NO in school now? Has educating them come to a stand still since Hurricane Katrina hit? Surely the insurance companies have repaired the schools there by now. It has been 3 years. Anyone know for sure?

Their efforts continue to help keep Katrina victims from being forgotten and remind us that New Orleans was home to many real people. Angie and Brad are so beautiful (inside and out)- their closeup shots are flawless and their features are so striking! You can’t help but be drawn to any photo they’re in.

She is very simple but her beauty stands out. Brad is handsome even with that unpopular hat ( I don’t mind), They both look happy with the kids. They are wonderful couple. My heart melts everytime I see them together. Ahhh.
People should appreciate the tireless effort of Brad & Ange to help the people of NOLA. I really admire them both, imagine putting almost 100 % of your time & energy to the cause of rebuilding the ninth ward in New Orleans & $ 5 million more of Brad’s own money to start the Make It right Foundation, that’s really very remarkable. I’m sure in a quiet way Ange helped out monetarily too. I salute you both. Well done so very proud to be your fan. May God continue to bless the Jolie-Pitt’s Family.

the focus isn’t what is WORSE off than another region. it is a STUDY CASE…NOT a study case on which place is worse off. this NOLA region of focus that the jolie-pitts are shedding light to the nation is to SHOW EXAMPLE, NOT to prove which part of Katrina is worse off!
Show your support and self-education instead of negative ignorance by accusing those that are actually trying to spread awareness and actually making changes!

She looks so beautiful without make-up. It’s the beauty from inside.
They are both wonderful couple. Strange, that people always find anything to grumble about that couple. These negative people should change their mind set and start to do something meaningful.
