I mean it’s one thing to have them watch movies at home (they fall asleep, move on to something else in 30 secs flat and it’s no problem) it’s quite another to have them in the theatre.

To be honest I would be amazed if Zee stayed awake for the whole movie. And that’s one of the reason parents take blankets for someone as young as Zee so they will be comfortable if the fall asleep.

You can’t tell if even the most placid baby is going to turn fretful or not. Imagine a baby sleeping calmly when his parents carry him into the theater. He wakes up in a dark, unfamiliar place, and does what babies do — hollers his head off.

Shiloh should be taken to the theater with her family.
I want to see her pics and I don’t care if she cries in the theater and annoys movie-goers.
All 1 year babies should go to watch movie with their elder siblings.!

Having treats, is part of being a kid, and anyone that would say that when they were a kid their parents did not give them candy, chips, popcorn is just lying their azz off. The child was having a snack of a bag of chips, you would think that she was sucking on a ciggy or something. All kids get snacks from time to time, I am sure that is not her complete diet. Just a nice little treat, we all ate candy and chips as a child, and celeb kids are not exception. It would be crul to, deprive kids of occational treats. I have kids, and God knows I do not deprive them of treats, and they all love fruits and veggies, and have a very normal healthy eating habits for children.

Errr… Zahara was 7 months when she was adopted and as soon as she arrived in the States, she was hospitalized. So stop frontin’!

I believe that 2008 is going to be a great year for Brad and Angie and their fans. I see a new baby (bio), I see a wedding ( spring)and I see a future of love and happiness. They are a family and will have great times and difficult times as all families do from the Kennedy’s to the Clintons’but Brad and Angie will face it all together. I feel bad for JA she just did not put the effort in to her relationship but I think she has realized that career can be lonely and hopefully she will find someone who sharesa her desires and needs like Brad has found. Happy New Year to the Jolie Pitts.

#187: You must keep in mind that the paps are not around them 24 hours of everday. I’m sure she gets her time indoors as well as outdoors. However, you must also keep in mind that there is a huge bounty that is on this poor little babies head for anytime she is seen outside. Not making excuses but it may be that is more easy for them to go out and about with the others without being hounded too bad for a photo op of little Shiloh. Once she is older you will see more of her but for now because she is so young and with all the wierd interest in her I think the parents are protecting her more than shunning her from family outings.

I must say that the tabloids have spinned this ugly mess with pitting the bio kid against the adopted kids. It is a sad shame that people do not consider or treat all them as their children. Like others have said in some post other parents go on outings with a single child and leave others at home and you don’t hear a peep out of them. It said to say but it is racial. When Shiloh photos were up last week not one mention of where is Z, Pax or Maddox, everyone was glorifying Shiloh like she was the second coming. If Angie & Brad had adopted other blond, blue-eyed babies no one would say a thing but because she adopted minority children people claim they favor the others more. Poor Angie just gets thrown under the bus behind this stupidity all the time and it is truly sickening. Thankfully Angie have other more important things to do with her life than to worry about what the naysayers think about her & her family.

Zahara at 6 months was in the hospital in NYC. There were a few pixs of her in LA , a few pixs in NYC when Angie was filming TGS, and then she was not seen for months when they were in Canada. Most pixs of Zahara were when they were in Europe and travelling through airports in early 2006.

When Zahara was Shiloh’s age they came back to US from Namibia and Zahara was not seen for months. Then they were in India and Zahara and Maddox were seen a few times, but not really all that much. Zahara starting being seen the most in Prague this year and Zahara was 2 years old in January of this year.

So most Zahara sightings have been since she was 2 years old. Shiloh is just 18 months old, 19 months old tomorrow.

Give this obsession of yours a break, please. Let this baby have some peace in her life before the onslaught of the paps that will dog her for years to come.

The whole “Where’s Shiloh Gate” started due to Angies supposed comments in Elle about the difference in feelings she had between her adopted kids vs bio. That is the root of where it started and then it gave haters ammuniton to run with this theme. It also caused fans (yes we are allowed to have individual thoughts) to question what exactly Angie meant and said. The blob comment was actually cute even though Angie never said it. The interviewer did and Angie agreed. The comment that gave the stamp of approval to “Angie doesn’t love Shiloh theme” was the part of Angie saying she had to remind herself not to ignore Shiloh needs because the others are more vunerable. Look only Angie knows what she meant by that quote and since she has never commented publically on it . That quote was left open to interpertation. The root of this is not the lack of pics it is Angie’s own words, which is obvious the tabloids will now use this as a theme regarding Angie’s relationship with Shiloh. In the end Angie said it best people can think what they want - her kids will be the judge as to whether she was a good mom or not. That is why I have said (and been blasted for it ) that Angie needs to keep some things to herself, had she never shared such personal thoughts with the media the tabliods , peeps on blogs, the media would not have her words to twist.. I think Angie actually has started to keep things a little more private and that is the way it should be. Blast away….lol

Angie should ALWAYS do what she’s done and say whatever she wants. That’s a BIG reason why I love her. The fact that she is not like everyone else and is just honest and doesn’t really care if people like her or not. She is a type of person who is like this is me, either take me for who I am or if you don’t, that’s okay, I don’t care. The biggest thing for me is that BRAD has told her to BE HERSELF in interviews and do what she’s always done.

It is kind of funny in a pathetic way that we started off the year with the Angie hates Shiloh stories and that’s the way we’re ending the year. BUT, Angie has survived ALL those BS stories this year and these latest ones will be survived by her too. Her mom is looking down on her and looking after her. :)

I’m partial to the 2 little girls because they’re so precious, but Pax is definitely growing on me; he’s just getting too darn cute

The whole “Shilohgate” began when Angie confimed she was pregnant with Brad’s baby in January 2006 in the DR. That’s the actual beginning.

I do agree that Angelina is more private about her life now and that is good for her and Brad and the kids. She is an honest person living in a nest of evil snakes who are always searching for more poison to ingest and spit out.

I am a little tired of seeing family pics from celebs, I KNOW in the end it is money/positive exposure on the different ends of the spectrum but you sometimes forget these people act. Think how differently Marilyn Monroe would be viewed today if she lived in a time where there were pictures of every candid, domestic move. It would definitely dull the luster.

P.S. I wouldn’t really expect to see Shiloh on a gathering to the movies, but I can get where some folks would wonder why she’s only seen every so often compared to everyone else. Think about it, if she was seen as much as her brothers and sister her the paps could only zero in on her but so many times, it wouldn’t be worth it after a while. Honestly I am starting to believe that they are very aware her rare appearances keep the value high or genuinely believe downplaying her will make the point they love everyone which is ironic since its everyone except the one Brad whinned about having for years.

I just love Z. That kid must really keep Brad & Angie hopping. The other day in the bicycle seat she looked kind of scared and apprehensive. Today she’s grinning from ear-to-ear and clutching a new blankie and stuffed toy…and totally rockin’ those little pink shoes, too!

And Pax just keeps getting cuter and cuter…but I think it’s time for a haircut!

And of course Mad is like a little Brad - probably the coolest 6 year-old ever. LOL!

All the above URL shows Z was ABSENT in many of the activities. Please note her age of those pictures and the nature of those outings.

There are plenty more occasions, I just dont have time to find those pictures.

I remember one picture in Paris, when Brad and Angie was in the playground (walls with graffitti). Brad was playing a remote control car with Mad while Angie was looking on. Again Z was absent.

There is also another picture which Angie, Brad, and Mad were taken on the way to the airplane. Angie was carrying several children’s book. Again, Z was absent.

All I want to tell the haters is that, when children are so young, sometimes it’s inconvenient to take them out. Young children, even at 15-20 months, still takes a lot of naps.

One more, in Mumbai, Z was clearly absent in the 1st rickasaw ride.

Angie loves all her children. Brad and Angie will make best decisions for their children. It’s ridiculous to say Angie favors Z more just because we dont see enough pictures of Shi .

This is what the youngest children in large families have to get used to, in every family since Adam’s: Sometimes they are going to get left out of activities because they are too young to do what the big kids do. And depriving the older children of an activity just because the little one is too young to take part, will only serve to make them resent the little one. The bigger children have a right to enjoy their fun now. Shiloh’s time will come when she is older.

Z’s smile is contagious, she is such one happy & bubbly kid, she is always smiling. It seems too windy in NOLA. Shi will not enjoy the movie yet, she is only 18 months old, her siblings will. Z will turn 3 years old in a few weeks . They are probably be spending their New Year in NOLA too.

I’m sure your question is rhetorical…but…L&S and the word “sick” pretty much go hand-in-hand. It absolutely sleighs me when the tabs’ barometer of truth is…OTHER TABLOIDS! ROTFLMAO! They act like they’re the only people making up their stories. And really, when they refer to a “British magazine”…is there anyone in this country who doesn’t know that all British mags are tabloids? I know people who don’t even pay very much attention to entertainment news who if you told them you read such-and-such in a British magazine, they’d say, “Aren’t those the tabloids that hounded Princes Diana?” That’s what most Americans associate British “magazines” with - writing BS about and tormenting Princess Diana. So I don’t know too many people who take the British Press seriously at all.

Your timeline sounds right..I do have access to diff. websites that supports what you said. But, let’s just have one website, for example..souliejolie.com, there are more pics of the other kids out and about than with Shiloh, even when the kids were as young as Shiloh is now. I am not trying to pit the adopted against the biological, but I saw for example, in NY, Shiloh was not in the park with the 3 kids, or picking up Maddox from school. There was one or 2 days that she was taken out . I understand also that this outing in the movies was not a thing for an 18 month old child…I am just stating in general that the other kids seem to get more “outings”..Angie is seen in N.O.balcony with Zahara, Brad picking up ice cream with the same kid, or out in the ball game with Maddox, or with Pax, etc..etc..It’s ok…I would like to see future pics of the whole brood and more often…No child left behind, as they say. And finally, pls. understand that this is just a comment, an opinion..like everybody have in this site. But be more respectful with your comments. These kids are not our kids and their parents can do what they want, right? Angie and Brad, I know try to balance it out..and I’m positive that they do private time with each kid and treat them equally. Trolls are actually upset at the treatment the adopted kids are getting from Angie and Brad. They themselves haven’t been treated that well by their own parents so they can’t stand it that Mad, Pax and Zee are being treated as preciously as any natural born children. They conveniently make poor Shiloh the scapegoat to hide that festering envy.

I think it is wonderful that Brad and Angelina show such courtesy. I dislike it when parents bring little ones to the movies. They don’t really know what is going on, at Shiloh’s age. And really doesn’t need to go. Parents who bring little ones to the movies, spoil it for the rest. I have had plenty of movies ruined because of some toddler who can’t sit still, cry and constantly make the parents go “shhhh.” I applaud you Angelina and Brad.

The two oldest Cruise kids have not been seen for many many months, they have totally fallen off the map. They are never to be seen again while Suri is seen out dressed like a little doll for the public to see.

Funny thing is, I see Brad and Angelina keeping little Shiloh out of the public view for a lonnnggggggggg time. And they have this on their side - as times go by..they will be less in public..which will turn out to be GREAT for Shiloh and the other kids.

Don’t forget, these are the same parents(Brad in this case) who said they will not introduce their kids to acting until they are 18 yrs old.

The only problem with your theory is that you’re forgetting that magazines edit and truncate quotes. For instances, take the whole thing with Madge’s adoption. Angie got villified because of comments attributed to her that made her seem as if she were chastising Madge for going to a country that didn’t have clear adoption laws. Angie had to issue a statement saying that her remarks were edited and that she had said much more positive things in support of Madonna, but the magazine - I believe it was this very same BRITISH ELLE article that you’re referring to - chose not to run them.

For further proof of the editing that’s done by the media, go to the Reader’s Digest website and play the audio interview they have up from their interview eith Angie. Then compare it with the remarks attributed to her on their website and in the magazine. THEY EDITED AND TRUNCATED HER REMARKS. There are things which Angie said in that RD interview that were expounded upon on the audio interview. Listening to that tape will give you a clear idea of how much these magazines edit the quotes they attribute to people…WITHOUT the use of ellipses to indicate that they’ve edited the remarks.

Basically, what I’m saying is that YOU can’t know for sure exactly what Angie said unless you were there or unless you’ve heard the audio tape or seen the audio transcript of the FULL interview. The transcripts we got from Brad’s Larry King show - it shows every “um” and “like” and “you know” and “duhhhhh” that Brad uttered. Unless you have THAT kind of accuracy in reporting, then don’t jump to conclusions and ASS U ME that you what’s attributed to Angie is what she really said.

I use to take my 1 year old to the movies - the drive in, other than that why mess up the listening for others who paid their money.

The attention span of very young children is very short, so I doubt she could have sat through a film.

Both Brad and Angelina have spoken of Z’s anxiety in reaction to the paps. Her thumbsucking does seem to be more common now but it probably soothes her when she sees paps and gets anxious. There is a pix of Z almost wringing her little hands when the whole family was all out on their bikes Saturday and Brad stopped and waited for Angelina’s bike to get repaired. The other three kids seemed calm but Z was clearly not.

Zee’s so cuuuuuuuute and with that beaming smile just melts ones heart.

I don’t think it’s in Angie’s nature to hold back on anything. What you’re saying is that she shouldn’t be herself in interviews anymore. Those kids are as much a part of who she is NOW as the blood lockets were with BBT. If someone asks her how she feels about something, she’s going to answer a she sees fit and do what SHE feels is right for not only herself, but her family.

Personally I think you’re just going to have to learn to live with Angie being Angie and stop tilting at windmills asking her to be something she’s not. Her comments about Shiloh were perfectly legitimate. What’s sad is that people skewed them and turned them into something ugly when all she was doing was voicing something that was of concern to her. So if you’re going to finger point - point it all the people who made more of the comment than what she meant.

A quick story - I’ve got an aunt who used to take in foster kids. She had a bio daughter and adopted 2 of the foster kids who were siblings, plus she still took in whatever foster kids she could. So at any given time she’d have 3-6 kids living with her. It wasn’t until YEARS later when they wre all adults that she found out that the two adopted kids always felt like they were slighted by my aunt. You know the funny thing? My cousin felt the exact opposite. She thought her mother had gone out of her way to make the adopted kids feel a part of the family at her expense. They 2 adopted kids were never able to get past that and simply drifted out my Aunt’s life after they were old enough to leave home. It broke my aunt’s heart because as far as she was concerned it was lose-lose. She’s close to her bio daughter now, but it was a struggle to get there.

The moral of the story? It’s all in the perception of the people involved. It doesn’t matter how people from the outside see it UNLESS the people on the inside let outside influences affect them. So I think as long as Angie is making her feelings clear to everyone in her family - then they’ll be fine as long as outsiders keep their nose out of their business.

i luv how brad and ange serve their kids real, everyday food like kids should enjoy…without pushing specialty diet choices on them…they really allow their kids to be kids…the kids have a lifetime to worry about diet why trouble them with such madness now….more chips, cookies, and mountain dew!

brad and angie are smart parents…they know not to take a 1.5 yr old to a movie theater….babies at this age do not have the attention span to sit quietly during a movie

And for those saying they see Violet everyday, well they do. Her parents are living in NYC in an apartment while her mom works in a play and they have no yard for the child to play in at this time. Very similar situation like the Jolie-Pitts when they were in NYC for Brad’s movie and living in a hotel.

I think whenever magazines are truncating, shortening or combining a quote they should be required to put ellipses in the appropriate places to show that words were left out. Or, if they are combining or re-using a quote, then they should have to footnote and source the quote…just like you had to do in high school and college. Basically what they’re doing is plagariasm. If the quote isn’t original - then they should have to say where it came from. I told someone last week - can you just imagine what the tabloids would look like? Every 2 words there’d be a footnote.

Though they stand on opposite sides of a political divide, the Republican president and the Democratic senator from New York are sharing the honor for a sixth straight year, according to a USA Today-Gallup poll.

They didn’t win by much. Oprah Winfrey and Clinton’s husband, former president Bill, were right behind.

When people were asked to name the man they most admire, 10 percent picked Bush, his lowest figure in the seven years he has been president. Bill Clinton got 8 percent _ within the poll’s margin of sampling error _ while Nobel Prize winner and former Vice President Al Gore had 6 percent and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, a presidential hopeful, was chosen by 5 percent.

Whoever is president has won the most-admired title every year since 1981.

Sen. Clinton, hoping to be president-elect by the time of the next poll, was named by 18 percent as the most-admired woman, the 12th time she’s been in the top spot. Talk show host Winfrey came in a close second with 16 percent. First lady Laura Bush and actress Angelina Jolie were each selected by 3 percent.

PT, if I can add, there is perhaps another moral to your story: Keep communications lines between members of the family, honest and clear. I don’t know if your aunt has good communications with her children or not - perhaps she just didn’t have the time back to really talk about things.

I honestly believe that if parents speak more honestly to their children, acknowledging their own mistakes, their own prejudices, their own fears and how it affects their relationship with each of their children and the way they treat them, everyone will be better off in the long run. Because of course, our own prejudices and fears and personalities affect the way we interact with our own children.

A parent who doesn’t like her authority challenged is going to find it harder to cope with a rebellious push-every-limit type child then a quieter compliant one. A highly sporty action oriented Dad may well think there is something wrong with his son who likes to sit and read books and dream and bond more closely with the child who likes to take the same physical challenges as he.

If, as a parent, you insist that you see all your children just the same, then you fail to honour their differences and your own. I’m convinced it is a myth that parents treat their children all the same. I believe parents LOVE their children and will die for anyone of their children - all the same. But we don’t always feel for our children or get along equally well with our children, all the same. And if we acknowledge our inherent prejudices and weaknesses honestly in ourselves we are more likely to succeed in developing and open and honest relationship with our children who understand that it isn’t their fault that mummy or daddy doesn’t seem to have the same relationship with me as they do big brother.

I personally would have been much more worried in Angelina had insisted that she had:

(a) no fears about whether she would feel differently about her biological child to that of her adopted children ( I know several mothers who wondered if they could love their 2nd child as much as they love their first born. They are fantastic mother in part because they acknowledge their fears, acknowledge their weaknesses and their possible failings.);

(b) not acknowledge the different way in which she looked at her adopted children and her biological child,

Once the questions have been asked, then you have a fair chance of actually addressing the issues honestly, rather then pretending that everything in the family is hunky dory and perpetuating a lie. Children will pick up the lie and I really believe that it is the dishonesty and the lies which will truly harm the child and the relationship with the parent in the long term.

So, it is precisely because Angelina has opened these questions to herself that I think she and Brad have a fair chance of raising children to be normal, healthy, functional human beings. No questions need be off the table.

Heidi Klum is often photographed with all 3 of her children it’s just she always has at least one person per child with her. they are 3, 2, and 1 but she could get 2 of them in a stroller and just have 1 person with her but i bet that’s a handful. but no bodyguards. maybe that’s her way instead of security?

sometimes the kids eat junk. so do AJ and BP who both have high metabolisms and eat all the time. ice cream seems like one of their fav treats for the kids (venice, prague, los angeles…..) they’re always munchin on somethin (crackers, pretzels, chips, hot dogs, apples,oranges…)

at a recent holiday party, there were 4 kids: Boy 1 month older than Mad, Girl 5 days younger and Boy 3 months younger than Z, and Baby Girl 3 months older than lil’ Honey Shi. after 3 hours i had all the respect in the world for why Angie and Brad can look exhausted on the red carpet.

You want to see shiloh so that people can bash her?. Look what happened when she went out. All the negative comments thrown against her and her mom. As much as shiloh always make me smile when i see her picture i would rather the haters not get the benefit of bashing her. Shiloh is only 19 months and yet she is being attacked about autuism, potato chips and anything petty jenloonies can think of.
