Sean Penn: Divorce! Divorce! Divorce!
And another…
Sean Penn and actress Robin Wright Penn are divorcing after 11 years of marriage, their rep Mara Buxbaum told People.
Sean, 47, and Robin, 41, have two children together, Hopper Jack, 14, and Dylan Frances, 16.
Just earlier today, actor Brendan Fraser and his wife split after nine years together.
What a sad day in Hollywood!

Passing Through @ 12/27/2007 at 11:37 pm Considering their history - this REALLY isn’t that big of a shock. There have been rumors about one or the other cheating for the last 10 years. At once point he was accused of physcially abusing her - they both denied it…blah, blah, blah. No marriage is ever what it seems on the outside. I would have thougth people had learned that lesson after Brad finally dumped his 6 1/2 year old albatross.

I think she had this strange “mother” relationship with him, trying to heal him from his anger and frustration issues.
Sean is a bully.
Robin will really blossom after this divorce.
While I hate marriages to end, especially ones that you didn’t see coming (like Brendan Frasier- who even cared that he was married?), I think this is healthy for Robin Wright, who is a fine actress in her own right.

Divorce is always sad and so common these days. I don’t think people really get how sacred that holy is or supposed to be.
He probably started taking out his bull **** on the kids. Alot of women will take abuse until it starts happening to the kids, then they are through.
That really sucks. They were one of my more favorite couples in Hollywood.

Exactly how long have you just been passing through anyway? And Real Women have integrity and compassion for situations like this.
You can go away for a few hours or a few days - come back do a quick scan and see PT everywhere at all times of day and night. She is also very hostile and angry - something very wrong with her.
The tabs in California just found out that it was Sean that filed in early Dec,and dropped it and Robin filed a week later and dropped it.
Now they say say that both parties filed together on Dec.22 and put out a joint announcment on the 36th.
So I believe that this could change as they BOTH have been hot and cold.Plus they have been living in a small town of Ross in Northern California after Robin was held up at gun point in LA about 6yrs,ago.
And Robin owns 2 oil wells in her native Texas and her Father is a big Pharma exe.which goes against Sean’s politics.
There was some drama in early 11/07 when Sean went to NorCal instead of attending a screening of Into the Wild and then a couple days later Robin went to the L.A. premiere of Beowulf alone.
BTW they’ve been together (on and off) for 18 years. Their daughter is almost 17.

Too bad, they seem to have been doing better this last few years, Sean has a love/hate relationship w/his work because it takes him from his family, She’s a sweetheart, maybe they can work it out. Let them work out the situatuion w/diginity & respect, breaking up on the down low is bad so in everyones eyes has to kill them, remember they have kids. Best of luck however it ends up.
