Ya know AJ fans are the most hateful people I’ve met on the web, AJ should be so proud!!!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAYING THIS! I have felt this way since I started coming to this site. I often have so many questions to ask these people about their muse however, I have seen people who post the most innocuous questions get torn apart by these “fans”. For the life of me, I cannot figure out what phenomenon is occuring here-are they insecure, are they overcompensating, are they phonies, are they ignorant, are they full of themselves….I don’t know. But, what I do know is that these threads are not fun, educational, or interesting with these people on board. They become pathetic outlets for deranged fanatics-a circus of hate.

Furthermore, the only reason why Reuters has these polls is to determine which celebrity is leading the popularity contest with the public which therefore makes them more bankable. Wake up people!

A poll is not an accurate way of determining how much these people have actually contributed to causes. It is more of a popularity contest and is often driven by biased opinions as people are most likely to vote fore their favourite celebrities and shun those they dislike (not that Don, Brad and Angelina don’t deserve credibility for their work).

So actually Peter Walker, Director of Feinstein International Famine Centre people ARE stupid because they will believe anything the media feeds them including ‘claims’ that Madonna tampered with the adoption of her son by using her fame when infact it’s been officialised that this was not the case. In fact, people are so narrow minded that they use this lame media attempt to create a story to determine their vote and they’ve completely overlooked all the work Madonna has done in Malawi beyond the adoption. So how dare you praise one person’s cause and put down another’s when ALL these causes are important and worthwhile.

Furthermore, to the anonymous voter who wrote, “Madonna seems to do philanthropy the way she’s done Indian culture, sex and just about everything — like a disposable fad.” What does any of this have to do with charity work? You’ve just helped me prove my point.

To David even with everthing you listed Angelina is still a better person than you will ever be. Now suck on that A$$hole.

Your hatred and your animated choice of words to describe Angelina are…quite unique. For a second, I thought you were describing anger towards a pedophile, … maybe a mass murderer?

But no,instead you are spitting at someone who is recognized for her undisputed and endless, apparently, work raising concerns and speaking out about the atrocities currently in practice against a forgotten people. Angelina is certainly NOT the first nor will be the last to advocate for the spirit of the poor and insignificant. Angelina has proven that her voice and her fame can be put to good use and can affect change. Will she stop the killing or the wars? Probably not, but she can educate you with her words, take out the negative stigma typically associated with adoption, help us view “orphans” with a gentler perspective, reconsider the value of being kinder to people from all nations and potentially see the benefit of changing how we treat “foreigners.”

She walks the walk as well as talks the talk. This is very hard to do. In life I try to focus on the big picture, I suggest you do the same.

She is recognized for her work outside of Hollywood because people in the know know exactly how dangerous it is to do what she has been doing for years. It takes a lot of passion and courage, with the level of which most of us simply do not possess.

Angelina is a compassionate person without a cause… her charity begins with her heart…
Ditto on the voter who wrote such a lucid statement re: Madonna… FAKE, FAKE, FAKE… there’s not much substance behind all the well engineered facades…

Exactly, Everything Madonna does is for attention/publicity. She had no rights to circumvent the adoption laws of Malawi, but money can corrupt government officials.

It doesn’t matter if the adoptive mother is Angelina, Madonna or any other person. Adopt a child is an act of love and should be admired for all of us.

Congratulations to all those who try to make a difference doing something for the others.

Angelina seems to do philanthropy the way she’s done drugs, sex in motels, french kissing her brother in front of cameras and just about everything — like a disposable fad. Even her looks are fake. And she has increased her income significantly since stealing a man and pretending to do good. Evil hypocritical person made her way.

Indeed, you are deceived. You are a selfish, self-absorbed, spoiled American who refuse to open their eyes and understand that while we live in a safe environment, there are millions of people who live under the most insane, inhumane conditions that NEED OUR HELP. A poor person in the U.S. is not the same as a poor person living in a third world country.

Angelina is also an activist, and not just a philanthropist. The type of work that Angelina has accomplished over the past 6 YEARS, including the TIME BEFORE she met Brad, is time- consuming, heart-felt, dangerous work. I am telling you from experience. Remember Daniel Pearl? He was the Jewish American journalist that was beheaded and whose body was subsequently cut up into ten pieces as a result of trying to get information back to the United States about terrorism. There are countless other “soldiers” that have risked their lives trying to educate smug people just like you, trying to get you to understand and CARE about the violent acts against basic human rights that you so callously take for granted. It’s a wonder that she has yet been physically hurt.

Obviously, she is not a saint and she has repreatedly been upfront about her past…and can STILL find the courage to do what she has been doing. How does your character measure up? Are you strong enough, let alone motivated, to help someone who is in danger at the risk of your own life that is not related to you? Or do your self-absorbed ways blind you to the concept that there exists human beings that are capable of this level of human service and sacrifice such that when evidence presents in abundance, you cannot see it?

How dare you criticize her or anyone who fights the global war on terrorism that most are afraid to fight?
