So sad that you once again create something that isn’t there. The article in question mentions a number of individuals who were singled out for some indiscretion during 2007. There was a brief mention of Vanessa but there was no listing of top ten or anything of that nature. Don’t twist the facts to fit your twisted outlook.

Vanessa may be over it but it will haunt her forever, and everyone will know her for it. That’s the sad part about being a celeb. Esp. because it helped heighten her star status.

I think they want them to become more famous. With fame comes misery, train wrecks, drug addictions, divorces, break-ups etc. Not saying that any of those will happen 2 these 2, but it seems to be an alarming trend for young hollywood… or hollywood in general

And so that is why some people have to work in Mcdonalds. That drive-thru girl’s retort was nothing more than sourgraping. It’s a classic move jealous people usually go for. It’s hard for them to move on so they bring up the mistakes you did hoping that they can pull you down along with their misery. It’s sad to become a celebrity, yet It’s fun to bend some rules like most of them does.

Keep your head up Vanessa…ignore and work your hardest. That’s about the only option you have to be succesful.

About the haters being one person: I don’t thing it is one but I don’t think there is more than about 6. Each of you take 2-3 monikers and start posting—except maybe tony who seems to have a list of them. But you people have the same comments all the time. As I said on another post, unless you people have something to say like they are pedophiles, pushing drugs to grade school kids, harming defenseless animals, or abusing the elderly, maiming or killing someone, then give it up. This video really made me angry! I understand freedom of the press, but how is it OK for them (the press) to have so much freedom, they take someone else’s away. It’s wrong no matter how you look at it. Very disturbing!

There’s no amdendment in the Bill of Rights stating that you have all the rights listed unless you’re a celebrity, then all rights are revoked. EVERYONE has those rights and one right should not cancel out another…(see above).

Second, he did not need to report the story above the way he did. The fact that there were 3 threads and a nasty story made all the hateful idiots come out. …You see, there are “fans” out there that like to pit these two against each other, for some reason or another. That one is a better singer/dancer/actor than the other. Or that the other one is more stylish or has better hair or has better shoes. Name anything and it can be use to compare these two very different people/individuals. And then there’s the name calling - which for the most part are unwarranted because they come from individuals that do not even know either one of these people personally.

What’s the reasoning behind the comparison, all the name calling? Is it really necessary? For whom?

As a fan of Vanessa (or Ashley), you obviously have an admiration of her work, talent and such. I’m sure you get “wowed” by the things she does and choices she made in hairstyle, wardrobe, boyfriend, etc. Of course there are those occasions where you deem some of those choices as just plain wrong - but still you smile, and maybe shake your head a little. Because afterall you are a fan and you respect (and admire) your “idol”. I’m pretty sure either one of these ladies, is very grateful for that.

But have you ever wonder how they would feel if you, the fan, is being disrespectful to someone they obviously care enough (or like enough) to choose to spend some valuable time with? Do you think they would be proud of you, as their fan, if you call one of their friends unsavory names? Are you really even a fan? I think not. As far as I’m concern, you are worst than the haters/bashers combined. But that’s my opinion.

How about you? What do you think? Would you like it if someone call any of your friends those names? What about if you are the friend that’s been told you’re not good enough to be friends with someone - how would you feel then?

And we are called “individuals” for a reason - there’s just no comparing any of us. We are all different - no matter who you slice or dice it. Ashley and Vanessa will never be alike - that’s just beyond impossible.

#339 Hello Narf, darling *big kiss* I suspected that Ashley’s reaction was nowhere near what #315 made it sound like. I haven’t watched the video yet and I don’t think I’m going to. The chortling of some of the posters here is quite stomach-churning enough. I would also like to respond to #315 comment about them not telling the paps to leave like any “A-Lister” would do. The paps don’t listen to “A-LIsters” anymore then they would listen to Vanessa and Ashley. So that’s another “argument” that holds no water.

I have to say that I wonder why the McDonald’s management didn’t come out and say something. The way they were interfering with the girls attempts to order had to be inconvenicing the people in the cars behind Ashley and Vanessa. I know that if was in one of those cars and saw that was allowed to go on I wouldn’t eat at that McDonald’s ever again. It just doesn’t make good business sense to me.

Finally let me close on a positive note, Narf what you said in #298 was absolutely beautiful. Hopefully some of the people who need to read it and take it to heart will do so.

#383 What the picture says about her character is that she’s human and makes mistakes. Why is that so hard to understand?

Why can’t it just be a case of a teenager making a decision on impulse and for one misguided moment it seemed like a good idea and she went on with it? We DON’T know for a fact she was fifteen, the fact is we don’t KNOW anything about it at all. All we’ve HEARD are unsubstantiated rumors by unnamed sources and sleazy allegations by an “inspiring” actor who claims to have dated Vanessa and sold his story to that bastion of jounalistic integerty “Star Magazine.”

I’ve said it before and I’ll probably have to say it again, I’m tired of hearing about the scandal. It’s O-V-E-R. Vanessa has clearly decided to keep the story behind it private, her choice and I respect. At this point it wouldn’t matter she said anyway people have made up their minds.
