Kindly stop putting your stupidity on display. If the man was using botox, then he wouldn’t look “old and worn out”. If he were using botox and still looked “old and worn out,” then he’d need to sue his dermo because botox is supposed to erase lines and wrinkles and smooth out the skin. It also “freezes” the muscles of the face and renders them unusable so that your forehead doesn’t wrinkle when you raise your eyebrows - IF you can still do that. Now look at Brad’s wrinkled forehead and revisit your idiot comment.

I’m huge fan of Brad’s but something is really bothering me lately.

When brads walkin with angie he struts like a c*cky man,
but when he’s own his own on the red carpet he looks lost and uncomfortable as hell!

Where is his self confidence? What is with this talk about doing less
movies and it’s a younger persons game?

He is leading man in hollywood, why can’t he fcuking act like it and get great roles? Does he not know how to wield his power or influence even though he regularly gets named on the most infuential and powerful list in hollywood? All he does now is play small character roles in other peoples movies. He has the talent but all he does is second guess himself. He also suck at nipping something in the bud. When the controversy with Univerasal started over SOP, he didn’t say anything. Universal took control of story and made him the bad guy. By the time he explained his side, it was too late. This is pattern with him. When he was divorcing, he was asked questions and he just blew them off. The media fed the public its own version and by the time Brad decided to talk about in the Details and V magazine, it was too late.

People cannot say who gives what to charity unless their income taxes are made public. Alot of celebrities give lots of money because it gives them a tax break. You will never know because most do it quietly. It’s their choice to make it public or not. I believe AJ and BP donate what they say, but you will never 100% know until you see the tax papers.. So I’m not going to say anymore that JA or whoever does not donate because we will never really know.

When Angie started giving 1/3 of her income to charity she did so because her heart was there - she made comments like she made a ridiculous amount of money for doing what she did and also she only now does movies so that she has the money to do the charity work. I for one don’t believe tax break incentives have anything to do with her giving - its from the heart.

What a bunch of morons on here. It’s like a circus and all the clowns meet on JJ. Amazing yet also scary to think such stupidity lives and breaths among us.

IMHO -

Everyone gets a tax break, not just celebrities. If JA donates, she will get the tax decuction, like all other donors. But I doubt she donates, and if she does, it’s very very small, that’s it’s just too embarrassing to even mention it.

I know, all the celebrities giving back just make Jen looks really bad. But it’s not too late. She should start OPENING her purse in 2008.

NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Within the last month, Brad Pitt’s “Make It Right” project has raised enough money to build 65 homes in the hurricane-ravaged Lower 9th Ward.

The program on Monday announced it is nearing the halfway point in reaching its initial goal of raising sufficient funds for 150 affordable, environmentally friendly homes. The average construction cost is estimated at $150,000 per house. Hot pink tents have been erected to represent the homes.

Building is expected to begin this spring, with the goal of having some families back by the end of summer, a Make It Right spokeswoman, Virginia Miller, said.

The Lower 9th Ward has become a symbol of the destruction wrought by Hurricane Katrina in August 2005 and the subsequent levee breaches. Just a fraction of the pre-storm population is estimated to be back.

“2008 is going to be crucial to demonstrate the resurgence of the community,” said Patricia Jones of the Lower 9th Ward Neighborhood Empowerment Network Association.

Work at the Make It Right project site will be part of that, she said, but the Lower 9 extends much farther, and activists hope to see more homeowners begin to rebuild as they receive funds through the state-run Road Home program.

Jones, whose rebuilding in the area herself, hopes to have at least one-third of the pre-storm households back by this time next year.

Miller said most of the donors through Make It Right’s Web site have been “average Americans who want to help.” In one week alone, after the project’s official launch Dec. 3, nearly $500,000 was raised just through the site, Miller said.

Miller said there also have been corporate and “high-profile” donors, including musician Jimmy Buffett.

Tom Darden, the group’s executive director, said there’s no timetable for raising the funds needed for the 150 homes. He added he’s not worried about raising it.

“It’s one thing to talk about this in theory, and it’s quite another when the first houses go up,” he said. “I think that will inspire a lot of people who want to see real families move into real houses.”

The Red Campaign supports The Global Fund, which helps women and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa.

I did donate some of my $ to makeitrightnola.org, after watching Larry King Live a while ago. But, but…, my name doesn’t appear on the screen when it’s supposed to do so! I saw Brad in a recent interview in the past month, forgotten with who, and he made a comment about people talking about them on a message board, it was insulting to his fans, I was insulted. I was really surprised. It was very condescending. He basically said he could not believe people would waste their time on a message board taliking about them when they should be out there involved in important issues, that it was a comptete waste of time. He went on to say he was aware his fans were naturally curious but just did not get how anyone could actually post on a message board.Did anyone else see that? It surprised me because in the past he had said they never read them, and when he said this it was clear he was aware of his fans support, and so I was so offended. Some things you just don’t say.
