#2 What an incredibly biased statement…not to burst your uninformed bubble, but blonde hair/blue eyes is not the preferred. A study was done by Jacobi&Cash 1992 among white American college students observing that 22% of the women sampled were natural blondes, 39% wanted to be blonde. 84% “believed” that men preferred blondes when in reality only 35% of men surveyed preferred blonde women, 51% preferred brunettes, 14% redheads. (Similar findings with Cash&Brown 1989, Fallon 1990, Jacobi&Cash 1992).
Lawson 1971 found that preferences were dependent on the hair color of the male gender, ie brunette men preferred brunette women, blonde men equally preferred blondes and brunettes. He further states that both genders regarded brunette females as possessing positive personality traits and although blondes were associated with being “beautiful”, traits such as sincerity and valuable were not associated with blondes. There are more recent studies to show that the “blonde” image is imposed on readers through magazines and that women buy the image but men do not.
Maybe Cook can present a more current male point of view. What say you Cook, other than all women, what would be male preferences these days from your reference point…blonde or brunette?…be honest now, no jiving.

Brad may want to be back in Jennifer’s bed , after all he probably paid for it , but he wants Angie in there with him. You can have a lovely body like JA and not know what to do with it and you can have Brad Pitt in your bed and not know what to do with him, but if you are Angie you know HOW to do both very, very well. Angie isn’t hanging on to Brad with both hands and loving looks alone!
