Tom & Gisele’s Sweet Victory

Boo-hoo, beth…..the Colts will always be classless to me, honey. I don’t love Belichik, but he’s the brains. They don’t pay him to be classy, and frankly, no one cares if you like him or not. Parcells is from the same cloth. A jerk, but knows football.

Brady is having a fantastic season, however, he’s not the greatest. Peyton Manning will out play him anyday. Manning’s always consistent & has a bond with each of his players & studies each and every game of the team they are facing, & is always on the sidelines determining plays with his team and coaches. Brady just paces the sidelines when’s not on the field & only likes to throw to Randy Moss - how predictable.

Talk about classless, beth….I don’t call people names like you. Think what you want.

VJ…..Brady is as prepared as Manning, if not more. Whatever makes you think Peyton is the only QB who bonds, studies, and consults with his coaches???

Rory, I don’t like the guy either. His clothes make me cringe. LOL But whatever…..it’s what he’s comfortable in. I don’t think Belichick is a classy guy, and I never said so. But he is devoted to his players, is an amazing football brain, and always prepares his team extremely well. No one can argue that. And that’s what he’s paid to do. The organization is top notch. I have been fans of other teams before I moved here, and none compare to this group. My husband WAS a Colts fan before the cowards snuck out of Baltimore. THAT is totally disgusting. So I could NEVER put the word class and Colts in the same sentence.

And I hate to say it, but, Tom outplayed Peyton for years, until one lucky interception last year.

Do Tom and Gisele look happy? They’re not holding hands and looking happy. I read that Bridget was in town and that she had the class and grace to not attend the game and to let John go and be with Tom, Sr. So tis begs the question– why weren’t Tom and Gisele with his parents and possibly also his son? Where did Gi sit? Where were the parents? This so much better than Desperate Housewives. Anyone have more info?

Also, as much as I think Tom treats women like dirt, he is an amazing QB and he and the Pats deserve their success. That he handles gracefully and with humility.

I think he needs to hook up with the troll Jessica Simpson &put his QB skills to the ultimate test…anyone who can continue playing with her in the stands (without scratching their eyes out) deserves the dubious title of “best” QB ever….

Gisele is a fool. Just how many children is he gonna make with supermodels. He is a loser and very poor role model.

Please lose the first round of the playoffs so the rest of the country can have a good laugh. Just think Tom, you will have more down time to impregnate more women you have no intention of marrying. Nice.

Yeah, the Patriots cheated. And the consequences weren’t that big of deal for them, so they will probably continue to cheat. There has NEVER been ANY proof that another team cheated.

That being said, they are good, maybe even great as a team, and it’s a shame that they cheated because it mars their accomplishment this season. No matter what anyone says, there will always be some people (myself included) who believe this undefeated season should only be in the record books with an asterisk.

As for Tom Brady, he’s a good quarterback, but not the best to ever play. He has a great line around him, and has always had good defenses to take care of the other half of the game. Offense makes stars, but defense wins games, we’ve seen it time and again. Case in point: this year’s Cleveland Browns, who scored the fourth most point in the league (after New England, Dallas, and Indianapolis), but didn’t even make the playoffs!

Kimbo, have you ever watched football and seen the coaches on the sidelines holding something up over their mouths as they call plays? IF you watch football, I’m sure you know what I’m talking about. That has been going on for YEARS AND YEARS, way before Belichick was a coach. Do you know why they do that??? Yes, because ALL teams try to steal signals. Many of them go as far as to hire lip readers to try and gain an advantage (thus the covering of their mouths). It’s true no one else has been publicly implicated, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Goodell made an example of the Pats as a warning to teams (so now they know they have to be discreet about it).

As for the asterisk…thats bull. They were caught at the very beginning of the year and have been under tremendous scrutiny since. They aren’t doing anything now any other team isn’t doing. Belichick was arrogant so they paid the price. They put together a perfect season being watched closely by everyone. Don’t hate the great, just appreciate

Mr. Belicheat is okay with the fine because he got a big fat raise this year. It must be okay to reward a cheater. What kind of a message does that send. There is a huge differece in reading lips and actually sending a member of your staff over to the opponents sidelines to videotape the signals. You have it on tape and evertime you play that team you have inside knowledge. If there was no benefit, then why do it. All teams cheat - blah blah blah. I heard if you say it 1000 times than you will eventually believe it. Spygate has hurt their image without a doubt. Besides Harrison got caught with steriods - thats a form of cheating too. I doubt he just started taking steriods. Mr. Kraft has a policy - anything to win because he has a big fat checkbook. It is pretty sad.

Nicely said, buckeyegurl! And how nice that you can be a fan of a team, but recognize that another is also good, if not better that year. Last year the Colts finally beat the Pats in the playoffs after an interception. Oh, well, that’s just how it goes sometimes. Anything can happen on any given day. And they were outplayed. Our favorite teams are not always perfect! And thanks for mentioning that Brady has a whole slew of receivers, cause that has always been the best way they win!

I also don’t care about his personal life. None of us actually know what went down with the Bridget situation. dancermom, where do you read such trash? I live in Boston and have never seen ANY stories about Tom doing anything but playing golf on the courses..LOL I also have no idea why people think he treats women like cr**. How do any of you know this? Just because of the Bridget thing? Like I said before, you don’t know what went down. He was with her for 3 years, folks. She obviously thought highly of him to spend that much time with him. And he was just 26 or so when they started dating. He just did not want to get married yet. Simple as that. I don’t see anything wrong with knowing you’re not ready. That doesn’t make him a jerk.

I don’t doubt that spygate has hurt their image and will always be a point of contention for a lot of people. It is unfortunate it happened and that Belichick was an arrogant azz about it. Because yes, it does taint their accomplishments in some people’s eyes. I’m saying the league is full of stuff much worse.

As far as the steroid argument, well haven’t you heard all of the players that have been expose ALL OVER THE LEAGUE? How about Shawn Merriman at SD? Didn’t he lead the league in sacks the year before he tested positive for roids? Should that record be taken away or asterisked? How about the freaking felons employed by many teams (accused murders, car theives, drug takers/traffickers, not to mention those accused of domestic abuse or rape)? How is taping signals any worse? Why aren’t these teams, or at least these player’s accomplishments tainted or have an asterisk? If you go down that road where does it end?

The point is the NFL is full of problem children and until all teams and front offices clean up their act no team is ABOVE anything! You really don’t think a team that would employ a felon in order to get a competitive advantage wouldn’t ’stoop’ to cheating by stealing signals? That is a bit ‘thick’ of you.
