Michael Vartan is Poker Faced
Avid poker player Michael Vartan arrives at Tullamarine Airport on Thursday in Melbourne, Australia.
While waiting for his ground transportation, the 39-year-old former Alias star puffed away on a cancer stick. Vartan is in town to play in the 2008 Aussie Millions Poker Championships, which kicks off at Melbourne’s Crown Casino on Saturday.
Just last month, ABC pulled Big Shots from the schedule but is expected to burn off the remaining episodes starting Thursday, Jan. 10.

Wow, guess he went back to cigarettes after Jennifer Garner broke his heart. Now that Big Shots is cancelled, I think he needs to join Grey’s Anatomy.

Great to see Michael, he is certainly the best looking actor I have seen on the screen. I wish him good luck in the poker tournament. And to Me I am not sure why you posted those comments. As to the first Michael is a very private person so we wont read who he is going out with until he is ready (by the way I was truely horrified to find that he was going out with his co-star that Jennifer Gardner girl, but then I guess its understandable, if someone throws themselves at you long enough you will eventually take the bait and then find out the truth about the person later). As to the second he has been in two movies Rogue and Jolene and has shot Big Shots so he is happily working. Quite an achiever in Hollywood if you ask me.

I love Michael Vartan AND Jennifer Garner…loved them when they were on Alias…loved them as a couple. I hated it didn’t work out, but he seems over it…why can’t everyone else get over it? Why do some people take what celebs do so personally? They dated for 14 months, and now they are friends.
I’m a fan. I just saw him in “Rogue” (loved it) and he has plenty of appeal. I think he’s fab.

nw, I saw an article Monday where Titus said the show hasn’t been cancelled. There are 3 new episodes this month, January 10th, 17th and 24th. I really like the show and it’s refreshing to see stories from the male point of view. With ABC’s track record for mistreating good shows, it’s anyone’s guess on the status once those episodes air.
