Here are some great snippets from the High School Musical’s revealing interview:
How are you feeling about the [nude picture] scandal? I’m much better now. But truthfully I don’t like talking about it. It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn’t anymore, I’d still like to keep it as private as I can. It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions. But I wouldn’t have been able to get through it if it wasn’t for my family, friends, and fans, who supported me all along the way.
Who told you the photos had been leaked? I found out from my manager. We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, What?!? A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home–it would have sucked if I was at home. So I got to be away from L.A. for about a millisecond. But when I came back, it got kind of crazy.
How did you explain the situation to your mom? I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, “Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.” [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you. You’re not as safe as you think you are, and you have to be aware of the people you’re around.
It’s great that Zac stood by you through all this. To you, what’s the best thing about him? He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh.
Do you ever think about the future with Zac? No. It’s fun having a boyfriend. He’s a friend and a cute friend who you like. It’s nice. But only time will tell. I’m still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it’s definitely important to have balance. I think girls can be sucked into the relationship and give too much. They like to be so into their boyfriends, you know? And you can’t do that, because you get too infatuated–and then you lose contact with your friends. It happens to a lot of girls.

Tony must live a pathetic and pitiful life. It is sad when someone has to resort to always saying such things about people just because they are in what seems to be a better position than they are. But what’s so disgusting is he does it on numerous sites. Then he says he bashes Vanessa and Zac because of THEIR hypocrisy.

Karen, lots of teens carry around camera’s to take pics with their friends randomly. I know my younger siblings always have their cameras, and also, they could use a cell phone cam if they didn’t have their camera. I do believe the story on #211 because it’s not the first one I’ve heard about Vanessa being snotty to fans and sales clerks.

You are also a pathological liar. I have never posted comments about Fergie on this site or any other site. I also don’t post comments on any other sites. If you were capable of intelligent discourse I would engage you futher but you are not. I am not going to lower myself to your level.
Vanessa looks like a monkey or one of those treasure troll dolls, her features are yuck yuck. Clearly she was chosen as the “everygirl” for HSM because she was easy to like being not super pretty enough to make girls jealous. Her career along with the rest of that crew isn’t going to last so I’m just glad I won’t have to look at her or her from her for very long. Not like they can do Disney forever, not like they got what it takes to be in *real* movies.. ‘cept Hairspray type stuff which rarely comes out. And if they do last, they’ll probably continue down the path of Britney and Lindsay.
Wow. Vanessa is so much stronger these days. She really did overcome a huge obstacle in her life and she did it professionally and responsibly. I look up to her for that.

I used to post really nice constructive comments on this site but then Narf and Troy and Steph and now Karen kept attacking me and using bad language and it turned me from a nice sweetheart of a guy to a meanspirited nobody….so blame them not me.

Let’s see here…. Charlize Theorn, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Nicole Kidman, Scarlett Johannsen, Natalie Portman, Keira Knightly, Halle Berry…. and the list goes on.
I don’t see many talented and respected actresses these days that aren’t pretty. They probably just tell her she didn’t get the role because she’s “too pretty” when they actually just think that she is a terrible actress. Somehow I doubt that being “too pretty” is going to hinder your chances of getting a role. She may have become famous from HSM, but that will probably hinder her career in the long run.
