Vanessa Hudgens is the cover girl for the February 2008 issue Seventeen magazine.

How are you feeling about the [nude picture] scandal? I’m much better now. But truthfully I don’t like talking about it. It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn’t anymore, I’d still like to keep it as private as I can. It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions. But I wouldn’t have been able to get through it if it wasn’t for my family, friends, and fans, who supported me all along the way.
Who told you the photos had been leaked? I found out from my manager. We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, What?!? A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home–it would have sucked if I was at home. So I got to be away from L.A. for about a millisecond. But when I came back, it got kind of crazy.
How did you explain the situation to your mom? I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, “Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.” [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you. You’re not as safe as you think you are, and you have to be aware of the people you’re around.
It’s great that Zac stood by you through all this. To you, what’s the best thing about him? He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh.
Do you ever think about the future with Zac? No. It’s fun having a boyfriend. He’s a friend and a cute friend who you like. It’s nice. But only time will tell. I’m still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it’s definitely important to have balance. I think girls can be sucked into the relationship and give too much. They like to be so into their boyfriends, you know? And you can’t do that, because you get too infatuated–and then you lose contact with your friends. It happens to a lot of girls.

it’s imdb, people over there hate vanessa’s guts, and zac and ashley and zanessa as well. so i wouldn’t be surprised if someone made that up just to make her look like a *****. people do that with ashley tisdale all the time too. i doubt either of them are as mean as people try to make them out to be. especially since people who have actually seen vanessa and ashley, and have proof, say both of them are really nice.
Hey Courtney, I think she crossed it out as a way of saying that wasn’t even an option to be considered for that question. That she has never lied to zac.

see that article? someone actually met her, and has proof that’s she’s so sweet, so nice and so down to earth. it says she was playing with the little kids and was goofing around and was just nice in general. lets give ash and zac and miley and all the other hsm stars a little credit, if v was a terrible person, would they be friends with her? theres a difference between shy/quiet and downright mean. maybe v’s just shy around new people, i know i am, and I know I can come off as being stuck up and snobbish to people, when its really just me not having much to say.
Well like I always say, I don’t believe everything I read. Honestly, I could go to imdb.com right now and right about how I met Zac & Vanessa at a store they were shopping at and tell every little detail. Would you believe me then? I hope not, because it’s not true.
People can write anything they want, and do. No one checks the story out and really…how could we.
I’m sure there’s a smidgen of truth to the story. It could all be true, except the writer doesn’t mention how every girl in the restaurant kept bothering Zac and maybe Vanessa was a bit peeved by it and/or the girl writing the story was actually quite annoying to Vanessa, but of course she is not going to see it that way. Anything Vanessa does in her eyes would cause her to have a stick up her butt.
I highly doubt that Vanessa would be playing with her phone the entire time she’s eating with Zac. Just because she does it in almost all her photos that are posted, which is probably where the writer go that bit of info.
Take everything with a grain of salt people.
I should say cause the girl to say she had a stick up her butt. LOL Sorry about that. My stupid mouse clicked the submit button before I could proof read. LOL
I also agree with the crossing out of “lied to Zac”. I would have done the same thing with the intention of letting people know that’s not even an option.

And as far as that story goes posted on IMDB in comment #722, that seems false to me because if you know Zac or atleast has heard of him, it’s kind of hard to miss these days to read or hear someone talking about Zac having a girlfriend, that girlfriend being Vanessa Hudgens. I think that person who posted that story made it seem like they didn’t know Zac had a girlfriend only as a way to make it look like what they said about Vanessa’s actions were true.
But you know what, you never know.
We all have our off-days.
Vanessa doesn’t have to be sweet and smiley all the time. She’s a human being.
i don’t believe her she probably just trying to say bad stuff about vanessa…if they are not together why would she go with zac for new year if there not together any more…so dont believe on what they say her they are probablyjust trying to get attentiion and they wanted u guys to hate vanessa too

#722 I’m skeptical for one thing the poster seemed too insistent that she had NO CLUE who Vanessa was. I mean can you live in the L.A. area and NOT know who Zac Efron is dating? I mean they’re pictures have been pretty much everywhere for the past four months?
Secondly she doesn’t really say anything that Vanessa was doing that was all that unfriendly. I mean she described how girls kept interrupting them and how things were chaotic because the paps. I’m not seeing what Vanessa said or did that was so out of line.
This seems to me to be bashing just to bash. I personally don’t put much stock in it.
It is of course only one side and one point of view but when added to the previous post from Urban Outfitters it’s..interesting.
To answer your question daze the implication is that this IS from their NYD outing.
That person sounds like a Zikki fan, the way she describes Zac and Vanessa’s relationship and closeness. Those Zikki fans who hate Vanessa can even go to an extreme as to dedicate an lj community on bashing her. And the sad thing, they’re in their 20s-50s. Old enough to know better.
As for the phone thing. You hardly see Vanessa with a phone when she’s with Zac.
Also, it seems like the girl is describing ‘Paty’s’. I look at the video and it doesn’t even seem like Paty’s was crowded that night. There was hardly anyone there. And considering that this was the only Zanessa that came out after christmas, that girl was describing this day.
oh, and isn’t that the same girl at the outfitter? Her name was also Michelle. Or, are all the Michelle in the world just that lucky….

I would really love if Courtney and Narf addressed the following quandary:
When “Hairspray” came out the media started feeding us this ridiculous story that Zac Efron was dating his Hairspray co-star Nikki Blonsky (who played the fat girl). The public thought it was so ridiculous that Zac’s agents dropped that lie and went back to saying that Zac was dating VaneXXXa. Doesn’t that prove that all of Zac’s “girlfriends” are all a load of crock?
Steph, get over yourself. Really.
Lord, how many more tween-age girls are going to make up a story that they work in a restaurant that Vanessa and Ashely or Zac and Vanessa came into. How many do we have now? At least twenty? Z and V dont’ go out that much with him working. Can’t they think of something new? Hmmm . . guess not. She crossed it out because it is NOT even an option. Meaning. She’s never lied to Zac and would never think about lying to Zac, and to put the question on there was stupid. I though everyone knew that. Well, at lest the girls on Vanashbrenique knew what it meant.

I understand why you are so upset by Steph’s response to your post. I was equally shocked by the crude langauge and violent tone in Steph’s responses to my own posts. Steph is directing her anger at us for some unrelated things that are going on in her life. Steph is clearly a deeply disturbed person. We all agreed to simply ignore her posts. That 722 post from IMDB looks like a Fanfic made up by a non vanessa fan. And how come she doesn’t know Vanessa? im sure we know the name of the restaurant is and that place is frequented by Vanessa and zac to eat out.
