How are you feeling about the [nude picture] scandal? I’m much better now. But truthfully I don’t like talking about it. It was something that was meant to be private, and even though it isn’t anymore, I’d still like to keep it as private as I can. It was very traumatic, and I am extremely upset it happened. I hope all my fans can learn from my mistake and make smart decisions. But I wouldn’t have been able to get through it if it wasn’t for my family, friends, and fans, who supported me all along the way.
Who told you the photos had been leaked? I found out from my manager. We heard some story was going to break in the tabloids, and I was like, What?!? A few days later, the picture came out while I was on vacation in Australia. Thank God, I wasn’t home–it would have sucked if I was at home. So I got to be away from L.A. for about a millisecond. But when I came back, it got kind of crazy.
How did you explain the situation to your mom? I was just open with her, and she was just so cute. She was like, “Well, everyone can be naked if they want to.” [Laughs] My parents are very supportive of me. And they know I’m a teenager, and yes, kids do stupid things sometimes. It’s very unfortunate because with the Internet these days, you don’t have a personal life. Nothing is private: Everyone knows everything, and they can find out everything about you. You’re not as safe as you think you are, and you have to be aware of the people you’re around.
It’s great that Zac stood by you through all this. To you, what’s the best thing about him? He always makes me happy. He literally knows exactly what to do to make me laugh.
Do you ever think about the future with Zac? No. It’s fun having a boyfriend. He’s a friend and a cute friend who you like. It’s nice. But only time will tell. I’m still young, and I have my girlfriends and I have my family. I think that it’s definitely important to have balance. I think girls can be sucked into the relationship and give too much. They like to be so into their boyfriends, you know? And you can’t do that, because you get too infatuated–and then you lose contact with your friends. It happens to a lot of girls.

I can speculate how your life is going as well considering all your other posts, which sound pretty condescending to the other posters here. I’m not one to delve in my personal life, this is afterall cyberspace. You many not even be a child. LOL, your anger and your defensiveness sure is too much for a young teen which makes me wonder how your homelife is and yet again, how your parents treat you… hmmmm
But to say I’m hypocritical.. that’s fine, so is everyone else here on these threads because we all don’t know each other on a personal level except with what we’ve read. But YOU however are a paranoid little girl. LOL, you accuse us of being imposters of your name and slashed it all over the threads about a month back and Bashed us on the Fiercification threads. You are the one that’s angry. We never even knew your moniker until we saw how much you disliked the regulars here. So I wouldn’t judge me for my anger. I’ve lived. You are (so you say) still a teen, and yet have alot of anger. Which is alarmingly unusual. And if i were you, I’d stay off the internet and work on your homelife and build relationships outside of cyberspace. Nice ones where you do not judge people. And don’t even comeback with the me not having any outside of the internet b/c I do have plenty of friends, yes including a relationship w/a man. I am merely a fan of Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron because I love musicals and am very impressed with HSM. What’s so weird about that?
I think SOME of these teens need to have openminds. A narrow peripheral vision can cause a strain in future relationships, therefore not allowing to see how trully beautiful the world is.
So, teen-dream……what makes you think you own this space?? I don’t recall logging onto JJ and seeing an age restriction, therefore we can post on whatever we want, like you! I only pass by here once a day, and it’s about all I do online. BIg deal. That doesn’t mean we don’t do “more appropriate” things. I might say the same for you, honey. You could be chatting with your friends on the phone, doing homework, getting involved in sports and activiities, reading, hanging with your friends and fam, etc. Your generation spends far too much time on the computer….mine didn’t have them. We used good old talking on the phone and hanging with friends. It was WAY better that way!
So don’t go saying you have the only rights to be here. We can share opinions and ideas with each other. It doesn’t matter how old you are! Peace!

I read that IMDB thing and I don’t think that I believe in everything there. I mean, she seemed like Z&V were not very well, but we all know that they were giggling when they arrived and left. And it wasn’t a chaos outside. She just made the story bigger than it actually was.

Go Sox, to add to what you posted, there are plenty of regulars here who are in the age group that teen_dream makes reference too that have befriended the older fans on this site and have no problem with them.
As a matter of fact, there are more that exchange stories and ideas with us than that say we shoul not be here.

I agree with you. Even our little cat friend is an adult himself. LOL
The thing is, these teens that are, in their own words, weirded out by adults on the V and Z threads are way too immature to have an open mind about adults sharing their world.
I love the disney channel and often watch it because it’s a change from all the dirt that’s on TV nowadays. I don’t think it’s weird at all. What’s sad is, they misconstrue it and make it weird in their own minds, when really there’s nothing wrong with. It’s sad.
But I do appreciate those that have befriended us, like ellie (i think is a young adult), elisa, audrey, zanessa 110 and the rest… these girls have a maturity and kindness that some are missing on here. Let’s hope that there will be more like them.

I’m a big fan of Vanessa! And i love her from the bottom of my heart! Yes, she made a mistake… But can any of you say that you never ever had made a mistake?! Well, i have donne a lot… And only because she made a mistake you come here say that she is a bad person? Why? We never choose the right path… Sometimes you think is the right thing to do, but it is not… So what? You stop living your life? NO!!! You go and fight for what you believe… And that is what Vanessa is doing! And you can see that in this interview. She is a lot more mature and an AMAZING young woman! And that is why i am so proud of her! She have all her family, her friends and her boyfriend with her…
I always was taught to forgive the other! Who am i to judge someone? So yeah, you have the right to have your opinion but most important you have to respect the others point of view, so we can respect you too… Why have this anger for her inside of you? Does that make you feel better? Just think a little about this… Life is so short to live her like this!

ashley2, it’s ok to feel passionate about something or someone and express it appropriately. I think most of us around here like people to be fair and discuss without name-calling and inappropriate language. I’m not saying you did; I haven’t read all your previous posts. But in defense of Steph, she is just trying to keep things “nice” around here, like the rest of us regulars. I don’t recall her mentioning or attacking your mother, and I highly doubt she would have meant it that way. And it’d be nice if we just stayed on topic, and not assume anything about our personal lives. I do think we’d be surprised though, at the lives of the fans here! We’re pretty nice people!
