She’s the mother of Britney Spears, who is currently under a 72-hour mental lockdown at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. And who can forget 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, who is pregnant with her first child.
“Everyone has been worried for some time,” says one source to People. “[Brit's] world has been crumbling around her and this is another call for help. Her parents are just devastated. Nobody knows if they can take much more, but they’re trying to be as strong as they can.”
Earlier today, Lynne was “extremely distraught” on the phone with Access Hollywood, and said, “Just say prayers.”

Please God, please make this family just go away, let there be no more stories or pics of this stupid family especially talentless Britney. Make the paps take pics of actors, actresses, musicians and singers that have talent. Amen!
Cynthia, keep your comments to yourself! This not about about her talent or taking pictures of other celebrities. This is about a person in danger of dying and that needs extreme help! You think Britney doesnt have talent…..but its not about that. I know its hard not to come a across a Britney story….but you’re the one who chose to read the story and look at the pictures.

as much as we want her to get back to her oldself, we all know deep down that it will never happen!!! even if she gets help, if all the reports about her screaming, laughing, and crying at the same time is true .she will be heavyly medicated to a point where she isnt herself anymore..i hope she gets help, and gets out and just quit hollywood, like that one chick said at the award show, she’s done everything she could , and had all the success she could ever have, so i think its time for a her to just let it go, and live a normal life, shes been in this bussiness since she was 8 years old, its been like almost 20 years of work , time for retirement?eh

I’ll bet Lynne Spears is also asking for money for this story. I see Britney is as much of a victim as her two boys. This started long time ago with when Britney was young. I think Lynne Spears should be put in jail. Fast forward to Britney’s two boys in a few years, I wonder will the public be as sympathetic to her two boys when they act out.
I think K-fed was scared his money was going out the window, if something happens to these two boys he will be back to no money to share with Shar. He is such a piece of sh!t and not a hero. Kevin and Shar Jackson help feed this freenzy then sit back and act innocent. How do you think alot of information is leaking out. Shar is very jealous of Britney.
That video is an example of why the law makers need to come up with something to stop the paps from doing this stuff. You know K-Feds driver is driving like an idiot so the pap is driving like an idiot when’s a cop when you need one. seriously something bad is going to happen if they don’t put some kind of leash on those photogs.

Good heavens, how can Lynne Spears possibly help Britney now? After helping to totally scréw up her life, now she’s going to help put it right?
The only thing I can see helping Britney at this point is a good dose of tough love. You made your bed, you lie in it. She’s no child any more. She’s 25 years old and it’s past time she took some responsibility for her life.
It’s a very true saying that you have to want to change. Nobody can help Britney until she makes up her mind that she needs help and is ready to accept it.
I feel for her and the Spears family. Obviously something went wrong with Lynne’s parenting skills’. I think somewhere down the line her values got screwed up and the work (getting Britney to stardom and maintaining it, getting Jamie Lynn on the band-wagon) became the priority instead instilling the values that would keep her kids from ******** up like they did.
I’ll have them in my prayers, but only for the sake of Britney’s children and the sake of Jamie Lynn’s unborn child. Hopefully in this case lightning won’t strike twice in the same place. =)
She is such a freaky little ******. She isnt doing this because she is so “witty” and “sarcastic” (as stupid little britney fans like to think of all her actions), but because she has a serious mental disorder. i think she must have a prion or something like that because her actions seem very manic and skitzophrenic. She has narcisism, someone should throw her into a psyciatric ward and put her in a straight jacket.
also, i think this was just to get the limelight away from jamie lynn
