She’s the mother of Britney Spears, who is currently under a 72-hour mental lockdown at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. And who can forget 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, who is pregnant with her first child.
“Everyone has been worried for some time,” says one source to People. “[Brit's] world has been crumbling around her and this is another call for help. Her parents are just devastated. Nobody knows if they can take much more, but they’re trying to be as strong as they can.”
Earlier today, Lynne was “extremely distraught” on the phone with Access Hollywood, and said, “Just say prayers.”

i honestly believe that their older brother bryan is the best off out of the 3 children….. you never hear a word about him!
Bryan lived with Britney when she moved to NY..they shared the apartment, because I think then Britney was under strong management ans Lynn Spears retired back to her mansion!
Yeah, if my kid was in a mental ward lockdown, I would for sure be on the phone with access Hollywood. That would be like my number one priority. No wonder the poor girl is a mental wreck. She does need prayer and help, it is just with those blood suckers she has for a family I doubl she will get it.
Shame on Lynn! Its parents like this that cause this crap! PArents should let their kids grow up before they let them be so damn stupid! It ALWAYS reflects back on the parents, no matter how old you are!

Let us all realize that the first step she will have to take is admitting she has a problem. Since she appears to hold no one’s opiniuon higher than her own, it is unlikely that she will accept that conclusion. While it may be incomprehensible to many that she might not have normal maternal instincts; what chain of logic could she possibly have that allowed her to think that her ongoing behavior and failure to comply with court ordered depositions would result in anything but the loss of her children. Therefore - either she doesn’t really care or want responsibily for the kids or can’t see the obvious conclusions of her actions. There is no person who has the legal right to force her in to a mental health program. After the present evaluation, the court may disallow her visitation with the children but they will have to release her. As long as she remains in denial that she has a problem, she will get no help and eventually self destruct. What a shame.
Kevin was NOT driving the truck. He was driving the white SUV that was in FRONT of the truck. His bodyguard was driving that truck. Look back at the pictures of the black bodyguard in that truck from earlier. It was the bodyguard who was blocking the Paparazzi so that Kevin could get away. He did a great job at it !! And he pulled into Kevin’s property behind Kevin, which is where he started from. So get your facts straight before you accuse Kevin for driving eratically. It wasn’t even him !!!
i don’t feel sorry for Brit, she brought this on herself and she’s been pushing her family away from her, she’s def mental and unstable, i hope she gets treatment for her own sake as well as her kids
I agree with those who say that Britney will have to take responsibility and admit she has a problem.
The media did not make her decide not to turn the kids over at the appointed time so don’t blame them. The media did not make her show up over an hour late for her deposition. She is a 20 something year old ADULT and need to start taking responsibility and that includes making sure she is mentally healthy for her children (and herself)

This started long time ago with when Britney was young. I think Lynne Spears should be put in jail. Fast forward to Britney’s two boys in a few years, I wonder will the public be as sympathetic to her two boys when they act out.
I think K-fed was scared his money was going out the window, if something happens to these two boys he will be back to no money to share with Shar. He is such a piece of **** and not a hero. Kevin and Shar Jackson help feed this freenzy then sit back and act innocent. How do you think alot of information is leaking out. Shar is very jealous of Britney.

I 100% agree with you. K-Fed and his piece of cr*p lawyer Kaplan pushed Britney to the edge. If Kevin was so concerned for Britney’s mental welfare and for his sons he would have HELPED her throught this from the very beginning instead of constantly hammering at her with his lawyer and depositions and sh*t. Britney didn’t start to fall apart until Kevin Federline came into her life. He sucked her dry of emotion and money.
Britney is an adult and yeah, of course, she is accountable for her actions. No one can really help her until she helps herself.
But Kevin and Lynn are guilty of enabling. Instead of helping Britney they added to her problems. Lynn Spears is a loser as a mother and Kevin is a loser on a basic human level. I just cannnot see why people don’t see Kevin for what he really is!
I feel for Britney and yes, I will pray for her. No human being should have to go through what she is going through without at least ONE person on their side. Doesn’t matter if she is right or wrong, she still needs someone in her corner.

Oh Please, Britney hasn’t been on her own darn side. She simply hasn’t been taking care of business instead she has just surrounded herself with people who blow smoke up her butt instead of telling her the truth about life and her responsibilities and obligations.
Britney has brought a lot of it on herself. I’m glad she is being held, maybe now she can stop and think about her life and the consequences of her actions. Get some help.
She has lawyers leaving her because she does not listen. Not because people are against her. Why should they keep banging their head on the wall trying to get through to her when she doesn’t want to listen. Well now at least for 72 hours she has to stop and deal

Whatever happened, has happened, and its just a very sad and unfortunate situation. I think we, the public, are enjoying the gossip and all, at the expense of this poor girl and her family. It was all interesting and perhaps funny with the bald head and pics of her private parts for instance, but at this point it seems we’re all just looking through a window of Britney’s home and private life, and it just doesnt seem funny anymore, nor is it intersting. I wish the papazzi and media would just let her be. At this point it doesnt even feel like an entertainment story, its just sad. This whole ordeal is a private matter (lets put ourselves in her shoes), and it would be great if it would be left at that. Of course this girl is losing her mind. She is the butt of many jokes; she’s followed around; stalked; laughed at… it’s just not right. She’s losing her shyts, and unfortunately her little boys are paying the price. If things continue the way things have been rolling, we can bet that the little boys wont have a ‘crazy’ mother, they’ll just be motherless…

Some of the comments here are vile and subhuman. Not one ounce of compassion for her or Kevin. Those are his kids too. Enough already….maybe she will finally get the help that she needs.
