She’s the mother of Britney Spears, who is currently under a 72-hour mental lockdown at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. And who can forget 16-year-old Jamie Lynn, who is pregnant with her first child.
“Everyone has been worried for some time,” says one source to People. “[Brit's] world has been crumbling around her and this is another call for help. Her parents are just devastated. Nobody knows if they can take much more, but they’re trying to be as strong as they can.”
Earlier today, Lynne was “extremely distraught” on the phone with Access Hollywood, and said, “Just say prayers.”

I hope they keep Britney indefinitely so she can maybe someday bond normally with her children. Her life and interests are more important than her sons, and that’s sad. She needs to readjust her priorities and put her kids before herself.

She should be hanging her head in shame. She failed!! No kids don’t come with instructions and no one is perfect, we do the best we can. But this loser so called mother RAN to Kevin’s side and believed every word he said while her daughter self destructed from a mental illness before everyones eyes.

So Lynne called Access Hollywood this time? I thought OK magazine was her choice when it came to selling out her children.Did Access offer her more this time.

if anyone should pray, it’s lynne - for forgiveness for what she’s done to the innocence of her kids all those many years ago. showbiz parents are the lowest scum, exploiting their own for gain and fame. the excuse they offer - “but the kid reaaally likes it” - is absurd. the child has no concept of what hellish nightmare fame can be. it is a parent’s duty to steer them away from that. when you’ve fed them to the beast with your own hands, don’t come asking for prayer.

The parent raises the child; they guide them through childhood by teaching their children right from wrong, good from bad, etc. Your childhood usually has an impact on your adult life; that’s why kids with loving parents who taught them what’s right and what’s not usually turn out to be loving, stable people. That’s also why kids with abusive childhoods or kids who didn’t really have a parental figure turn out to be not-so-stable adults with many issues.
Lynne pushed Britney into the spotlight at a very young age and worked very hard to make sure her daughter became famous. She had Jamie-Lynn follow in Britney’s footsteps. To her, it was all about making money off her girls. Granted, it’s not ALL Lynne’s fault, but had she been a better mother, I doubt Britney would have turned out like this.

its being reported that brit spears refused to take a breathilizer test on the scene when asked by officers ,whom said she appeared intoxicated and on something. the hospital will not confirm that she is even in the hospital let alone tested negative for drugs. L&S lied . In other words tmz , or other sites have no idea about her condition.

If anyone had a care in the world for that kid, they would not have been pushing pushing pushing..kfed is so quick to jump any distance for his money…why would any LOVING father concerned for his kids welfare push the mother to the edge…

I always believed she is not on drugs. I think if I was exposed to celebrity culture at my early teens, had a mom that pimped me out instead of making sure I am educated, had a divorce and current custody battle, and living in LA without any real friend or family support,…. well, i would go mental as well. Not saying she is not at fault, but its been hard. And accepting you have mental illness or bad psychological problems is not an easy thing. Hope she gets good help and can enjoy her life soon.

Well in my opinion, this woman should be better taking care of her daughters rather than talking to the media. It looks like she’s more upset because her daughters’ turmoils are preventing her from releasing her book (and thus making bucks). You know what? She reminds me of Anna Nicole Smith’s mother, who was giving interviews just a few hours after her daughter’s death… I just hope there won’t be such a bad ending, for the federline kids’sake… Ireally feel for their kids, to be stuck in such a messed up family…
