Pitt Family Pizza Time
PIZZA PIZZA!
The entire Pitt family enjoyed a reunion together on Wednesday, feasting together at Arris’ Pizza on Republic Road in Springfield, Missouri (Brad’s hometown).
The group included Brad’s parents, Jane and Bill, their adult children, Doug Pitt and Julie Neal, and 11 grandchildren. YES, ELEVEN!
Brian Keppy, Arris’ kitchen manager, said other patrons didn’t interfere–no one took photos or asked for autographs.
Doug Pitt’s wife, Lisa, said the family enjoyed being able to go out together and that it’s typical when Brad and Angelina visit Springfield.
“We went to the movies last year when they came and people were just so cool,” she said. “Even when we go shopping, I think everybody here is so used to the family.”

Since Angelina’s relationship with Jane must be strained at the very least considering communication still exists between Jane and Jennifer Aniston, it would have been REALLY selfish of Angelina to call a photo op in Missouri and impose on the ENTIRE Pitt crew. Instead, she suggested the restaurant leak the story so that, the JP’s are still in the news and so that everyone knows Angelina is with Jane.
So they were at Chuck-E-Cheese yesterday. I got so tired of going there when my son was younger. That’s where he wanted to go all the time. We had his second, third , and fourth birthday there. It was always so loud . Now I miss those days.

Brad Pitt called Sophie a cutie!!!!!
I don’t have any pics this time because I wanted to give them their space…Here’s what happened:
My mom called me yesterday around 3:00pm and said it would be in my best interest to eat dinner in the restaurant around 5:00 pm last night. So, Kelly, Sophie, and I were there and at around 5:30 pm the Pitt family walked in the doors. I am talking about Brad’s parents and siblings with their children. Not too far behind little Maddox himself came in with one of his cousins. Then, sure enough, baby Zahara came in carried by one of her uncles. Finally, ANGELINA and BRAD walked in with Shiloh in arms!!!!!!!!!! I am NOT kidding!! My mom was holding Sophie and introduced herself to both Angelina and Brad. Brad took Sophie’s hand and said, “Hi there cutie!” We were sitting at a table behind all of this so we didn’t get to be formally introduced like Sophie Bug! Angelina is totally beautiful and Brad is as well. It was so cool to see them in person. I can’t wait to tell Sophie this story when she is older:)
Um..but…but I thought Brad’s mom hated Angelina? My golly..say it ain’t so..could that tabs be lying? LOL. Don’t you love making people look like fools.

#70: They also have a salad bar. Everybody that goes there always have salad with their pizza (and cake if someone is having a birthday). They also have barbecued chicken wings.
So, for the food police out there, anyone can have a balanced meal even at Chuck E Cheese. Besides they’re there for the fun (animated band and mascots) and games, not necessarily the cuisine. Kids love those prizes they buy with their collected tickets.
Thanks for the new thread JJ. It’s so cool that Brad, Angie and their kids can go out and have a nice and relaxing time with no one bothering them. I’m glad there are no pics of them. I’m satisfied with the siting stories. Chuck E. Cheese. Aww, I hope Shi and Zee aren’t afraid of Chuck E like my daughter is.

These type of places are fun for Everyone. The last time I went to Dave and Busters I took three of my nieces and nephew. I bought each $50.00 in tokens. We were there for 4 hours. It was a lot of fun. Kids like ing their prizes. I always just save my points in case one of my nieces or nephews don’t have enough tickets to get something they want. I love spoiling them. One time we went it was around one of them birthday so we had desert first to celebrate.

#85: tabitha, D&B are geared more towards the more mature crowd whileas Chuck E is more for the kids. They have a stage with animatronix and they play sets of songs every hour (or half hour?) and Chuck E (the mascot) goes around to pose for pictures with the kids. The front is purely for the kids (although you’ll find the adults having fun with the games themselves.

Ah, 11 grandkids. No big deal. My parents have 11 grandkids too. With one on the way (as soon as get through the adoption process). I have one sister that is planning to have another kid and another sister that doesn’t have any kids yet. So, I think in the end, my parents will beat out the Pitts. Although, my parents have 5 kids, so that might make it easier. :)
By the way, Chuck E. Cheese = Hell.
Angelina is so part of this family. She is a Pitt by though and through. They must gush over her whever she in town.

Real Tita, While I get what you are saying. I will say that in my family my nieces and nephews love going to Dave and Busters esp once they turned 5 or 6. We always go in the afternoons where I see a lot of other families. At night it seems more adult orientated.
I love how this is a little gift for the fans. So sweet and so normal and uneventful. Lovely.

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Talk about star power: The success of Hollywood’s awards season sits squarely on the shoulders of celebrities.
With no new talks scheduled in the 10-week Writers Guild of America strike, stars would have to cross picket lines to attend the Golden Globe awards—and industry insiders say that’s unlikely.
Seventy-two actors are among this year’s Golden Globe nominees. The writers guild promises to picket the Jan. 13 ceremony, despite repeated efforts by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, which puts on the Globes, to seek the group’s blessing.
“It’s simple: no one is going to cross the picket line,” said Kelly Bush, chief executive officer of ID, a public-relations and marketing firm that represents dozens of Golden Globe nominees. “We have a lot of first-time nominees and they would love to be there to celebrate their great year, but they’re not going to cross the picket line and they totally support the writers.”
Many actors have been supportive of their striking colleagues, but some are still conflicted about attending the Golden Globes.
Best-actor nominee Denzel Washington, a WGA supporter, said he was hoping the strike would be resolved before the Golden Globes so he wouldn’t be faced with the decision of whether or not to attend.
“The writers deserve to get their slice,” he said. “If the studios (are) making money on something that the writer wrote and the actor acted in and the director directed, then those people deserve to make money too.”
Sarah Jessica Parker, an Emmy and Golden Globe winner for “Sex and the City,” said her camp had been in early talks for her to potentially appear as an awards presenter but that the strike put that prospect in limbo.
“It’s hard to imagine crossing a picket line. Getting all dressed up and crossing the picket line,” said Parker, who recently finished shooting her big-screen version of “Sex and the City,” due out next summer. “I’m hoping every day, regardless of awards season or not, that they come to some agreement to end the strike.”
David Cronenberg, director of best-picture nominee “Eastern Promises” and a writers guild member, said he would not cross a picket line to attend the Globes.
“I think it’s on everybody’s mind. I can’t imagine there’s anybody who’s not thinking about that,” he said. “It’s going to be like that for every televised awards show anyway, that’s for sure. It’s a depressing situation.”
Dinner and party plans were still moving forward as well, with lavish bashes planned by several studios.
Some industry insiders have suggested that the Golden Globes could be saved by scrapping the telecast.
Jeff Hermanson, assistant executive director of WGA West, said pickets will be in place if the Globes are televised in any way.
“If it was going to be strictly a party—wasn’t taped, wasn’t broadcast—we would have no reason to picket,” he said, adding that studio after-parties would not be a target for pickets. “We want people to enjoy themselves and have a good time. We’re sorry that we’re put in this position to have to contemplate picketing an awards show by companies that refuse to bargain.”

#106: Tabitha, every kid loves those blinking lights and roll of tickets, that’s for sure. You really should try CEC one of these days. They have those things kids can ride on and the games are pretty much for younger people.
Some kids are fearful of those big mascots so be careful though. My goddaughter cringes everytime she sees them coming her way. The others follow them around like the Pied Piper.
Julie must have adopted recently
I know the kids really enjoyed going with grandma and grandpa and all the cousins to eat pizza, my childrens cousins lived in joplin and they would come to okla to visit grandparents and the grandparents would invite all grandkids and parents to go eat pizza but of course all the cousins are grown now and scattered so they only see each other at funerals.Brad and Angie are building memories for the children.i’m so happy brad and angie found each other.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt joined the rest of the Pitts in Springfield, Missouri on Wednesday for a family gathering at a local pizza parlour. Brad’s parents were present, along with his siblings and their spouses and their kids too. All told, including the four children from the First Family of Hollywood, there were 11 children at the big Pitt Party, throwing a major wrench into bottom feeding tabloid reports constantly claiming that Brad’s side, his mother in particular, are no great fans of Angelina.
On the contrary, Brad and Angie and babies are apparently frequently able to descend upon Springfield with very little fanfare. Said his sister in law Lisa:

And still Star Magazine is insisting this week that Brad is about to leave his lover on the eve of the official kick off of awards season on January 7th. A split during campaign season? Please.

They’re terrified of losing more viewers if they stop shooting. Although gh sucks right now and people are tuning out in droves anyway, lmao.
I doubt the paps are on their way to Springfield. Some fan may get a pix but the paps are far away. A big happy family does not make tabloid news. It’s hard to twist happiness into drama.
All the Britney related news has the paps on patrol in LA, all trying to get the pixs that will bring them the most money. The whole Britney circus is so sad and tragic and reminds me, I hate to say this, of AnnaNS.

Oh, the Britney spectacle is so sad. I think that she has a serious mental disorder. No one in their right mind would act as she has. Maybe the drugs and alcohol are a form of self-medication. I hope she gets the help she needs. Those boys deserve a good mom.

Yep, families out and about doing normal family things is not what the tabs and paps want to capture. And to see the Pitts and the Jolie-Pitts one big happy family, all getting along, spoils the tab lies about family fractures. The truth that all in the Pitt extended family like each other and that Angelina is fully a Pitt family member is good news, and tabs and paps are not after good news, just bad. Anyone with a brain who doubted (and still doubts) Angelina ’s acceptance into the Pitt family lives in a fantasy world. Angelina is the mother of Brad’s four kids and those kids (and Angelina) are Pitts for life, their family membership is set in stone.
Any tab that does not focus on BritneyS and her meltdown won’t be in business for long. BS news has taken over every major news and all local tv channels. The paps have encircled the Court, the hospital, all homes connected with BS, her car, everything BS related. OK has already shown the selling power of Spears related news and the other tabs had better be scrambling, lest they get left in the dust.

Thank you Felinelilly for your response to the writers for soap operas. I knew there was something but did not have a clue that the writers are scabs and the networks decided to make a deal with them. This explains the poor writing. I’ve stopped watching all of the soap operas. I could write better plots than the trash that’s on tv now, and I’m not a professional writer. Between the poor writing of soap operas and the reality shows on tv, I’ve resorted to the old fashion entertainment of reading books now. What a discovery! I’m joking.
I love to read. This just justify why it’s so impor tant to maintain the art of good writing for movies and other parts of the craft. I support the writers’ strike and the window dressing of all the awards show needs to be kicked to the curb, because there a more important issues at hand.

SAG president Alan Rosenberg has announced that not one of the more than 70 actors nominated for a Golden Globe will attend the Jan. 13 ceremonies.
The event’s been thrown into turmoil and uncertainty due to the WGA’s refusal to grant a strike waiver to Globes producer **** Clark Prods., which offered to accept the same terms as David Letterman’s Worldwide Pants banner. Instead, the guild’s asserted that it will picket the Globes, skedded to air on NBC, which has become a prime target of the WGA’s strike campaign in the past few weeks.
Rosenberg, who made the announcement Friday afternoon, has been a staunch supporter of the two-month strike.
“After considerable outreach to Golden Globe actor nominees and their representatives over the past several weeks, there appears to be unanimous agreement that these actors will not cross WGA picket lines to appear on the Golden Globe Awards as acceptors or presenters,” he said. “We applaud our members for this remarkable show of solidarity for striking Writers Guild of America writers.”
Rosenberg also announced SAG is urging its members to appear on the two Worldwide Pants shows that have waiver deals with the WGA — “Late Show with David Letterman” and “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” — but indicated they should avoid other shows. That would include “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno,” although Rosenberg did not specify any other show by name.
“Actors who are asked to appear on the struck network talk shows will have to cross WGA picket lines, creating the same situation that has led to the consensus among actors to skip the golden Globes,” Rosenberg said. “As I have said since this strike began on November 5th, we must stand united with our brothers and sisters at the WGA.”

My boss’s son dates a girl that lives in the same gated subdivision as Brad’s folks. Last summer the young couple was at the pool when a man and two children rode up on a four-wheeler. I hate to bust your bubble, hon, but it’s really time for you Aniston fans to face reality. A phone call once in a while does not constitute an ongoing relationship. And if there are any phone calls between Aniston and the Pitts, I can guess who’s originating them.
Once and for all, face the hard facts: Aniston is no longer a member of the Pitt family. She has no connection with the Pitts any more. If she had given Brad a child she would have remained connected to the Pitts through that child, but she didn’t and she isn’t.
Aniston did not spend Thanksgiving with the Pitts. She did not spend Christmas with the Pitts. In fact, I would be very surprised if she is ever invited to spend any time with the Pitts ever again.
Angelina is the mother of Brad’s children, his parents’ grandchildren, and his siblings’ nieces and nephews. She is the one who has given Brad the family he always wanted, that Aniston refused to give him for her own selfish reasons. The Pitts are not about to jeopardize their relationship with Brad, Angelina and their children by throwing Aniston into the mix. Somebody has to go, and Aniston’s the one. She’s de trop. She’s irrelevant. She simply doesn’t matter to the Pitts any more and there is no reason why she should. She’s no longer a Pitt and she has no child to link her with them.
Angelina is part of the Pitt family, whether you like it or not. Even if she and Brad were to split, she will always be connected to the Pitts through their children. She’s in; Aniston’s out. Deal with it.

The ratzi don’t go to Springfield for one very simple reason - it’s off the beaten path unless you have a private jet at your command. Yes, there are airports in Springfield, but it’s not a major air terminal and at most the planes arriving and departing are smallish commuter airlines. I think the population of Springfield and the county it’s in is around 175,000-200,000.
The ratzi make good money…but enough money to want to charter a plane and follow the J-Ps…who could be going there for an afternoon and then turn back around and go back to NO? And for photos of what? The Pitts live in a gated community in a fairly large house, so it’s not even like you can stalk the J-Ps hotel and catch them there. The ratzi would have to bribe their way into the gated community. Once they get in…the Pitts probably have a privacy fence of some sort, so now they ratzo has chartered a plane for a 4 hour visit, bribed his way into a gated community…and can’t get pix because of the privacy fence…and then one of the Pitts’ nice, friendly “small town” neighbors spots the strange vehicle and calls the cops…who arrest the ratzo for loitering and illegally being on private property in the gated community. Now the ratzo gets charged with a few misdeamors, has to pay the fines and COME BACK FOR COURT DATES IN A FEW MONTHS TIME.
Meanwhile, while he was in Springfield trying to get photos of the J-Ps…Britney has gone to wacko, Paris is arrested again, Lindsey is picked up for prostitution. Nicole has her baby and Katie has emerged from her stupor, engages Tom in a shouting matching in front of Nobu’s, proclaims to all and sundry that Chris Klein is really Suri’s father, calls Scientology the biggest rip off crock-of-shite ever, has Tom served with divorce papers on the spot, announces he’s gay and likes to dress up in her clothes - why do you think she shops so damned much! - and she wants sole custody of Suri and half of his network.
…And the poor schlub missed it all because he was in losing money by being in Springfield, Missouri chasing after a couple he knows are blisffully happy and not going to give him any money shots anyway…

Right on the money about everything.
The paps big money shots are in LA right now, BritneyS/BritneyS related has given them lots of photo ops. Going to Springfield MO, an out of the way destination, to maybe get a photo or two just is not worth the effort. All they have to do in LA is camp outside the hospital, try to get into BS room by hook or crook, get a photo of Kevin and/or the kids, Spears family members, the room at the house where BS was holding on to little Jayden, the photo opprotunities are endless in LA.
And happy families do not being in the big money, unless it is a NEW happy family that no one knew was forming.
So Brad, Angelina, the four Jolie-Pitts, and all the extended Pitt family have some peace. Also remember Brad had his lawyers send out a stern lettter in 2006 to leave his family in MO alone or face all kinds of legal trouble. I don’t think of myself or my siblings as jewels, but it’s nice to know that my family thought of us a jewels or elegant workmanship. I would like to think that the Jolie-Pitts children are referred to as “Bijoux”. As I was growing up, I always thought that this was a term of endearment and love and I always want to think that Angie and Brad’s kids are referred to like wise. This thread caused nothing. JJ was late to post this news today. The local MO newspaper printed the sighting last nite online. Other online souces then printed it, then the local paper printed a second article as to the visit. News sources print news, and a visit by Brad, Angelina, and their children is news where eveer they go.

Agree that any pix is worth money, but pix can be taken with a cell phone by non paps as they were in Canada in 2005 at the mall and then sold. Anyone can be a semipap these days. So to think that only paps running to MO to chase Brad and Angelina can take pixs is ludicrous. The people in Springfield MO seem to be really good people, but that does not mean that one of them won’t give in to temptation and take a pix. People are people after all.
After all someone had to contact the local newspaper and give them the info re the family pizza outing.
I am just happy that Brad, Angelina, and the little Jolie-Pitts are part of a big extended loving family. The value of this to those kids is PRICELESS.

Yes, Alan Rosenberg, the SAG President issued a statement announcing that. Brad responded to a question during an interview - I think on MTV or ET - that he didn’t see how he or Angie could cross the picket line. So that rules them out.

SAG is also “asking” actors not to attend the Broadcast Critics Award on Monday because they think the press interviewing the actors will sell the footages to struck networks. I know Indie Spirit and SAG Awards have waivers from WGA but aren’t there going to be press at those events too and chances that they are going to sell the footages to networks? It’s all confusing.

Happy to hear that our favorite famly are spending quality family time out of the glare of the cameras. I admire the dedication of the fans here but I can never understand how on one hand we are happy they have some privacy, and on the other bemoan the lack of pictures!
Be happy for them for this time. The pressure of growing up in that kind of spotlight is only balanced by having a strong grounding in FAMILY. The media persue, CREATE the very situations they report on and sit back hoping for a meltdown (a la Brittany) so they can sell even more papers. It is what drives the entire vicious cycle.
I for one am happy that there are no pictures at this time. They are human beings, not lab rats, not our property and those beautiful children need times like these. Remember if you really care about someone, you want what’s best for them, not what’s best for you. I wsh for them lives full of love and family, always.

EXCELLENT POST! It is so true….when fans attack other posters for benign and harmless observations, opinions and comments…it is a real turn off. When someone defends themselves from an attack by a fan, then they are called stalkers.
Just Jared loves EVERYONE because every hit equals $$$$ for his website. He doesn’t care who is saying what. He probably loves it when everyone goes into battle…it means more hits.
Admit it you fans…you love fighting with everyone else. You think it is a badge of honour to have your own stalker/s…..you think you have “arrived”. You gloat when you think you have made the nastiest possible comment…. you pat yourselves and eachother on the backs.

I heard the movie La Vie en Rose and the lead actress’ performance would be competition for Angelina and A Mighty Heart, so I watched it tonight. Ugh. It was dark, confusing, poorly edited and filmed, just a bad film. I could not stand it, couldn’t finish watching it. The actress was good physically, but the character grated on me. You’re either totally missing the sarcasm of these “ooh, I have a stalker” exclamations or being deliberately obtuse. It’s NOT a badge of honor. It’s an insult to the person who’s needlessly harrassing you just because they don’t like you or what they’re saying. Plenty of people disagree with what’s said or how it’s said…and don’t post under fake names taking snarky digs at other posters. As we’ve said to these people many times - if you don’t like someone…don’t read their posts. It’s not that freaking hard to do. “Damn, Passing Through’s having another fit…skip post…” That’s all they need to do. Instead they choose to create blog drama by insulting a person they know isn’t a troll. That in turn leads to more acrimony on the board. If you’re going to point fingers at anyone and assign blame for the melodrama that can take place here, then point them at these losers who sitting around waiting for certain people to logon just so they can harrass them or attempt to belittle them.
Many of us have maintained for quite a while now that 90% of the BS that goes on here would be eliminated if Jared had a bulletin board format where users have to be registered and can only have 1 account and 1 username to go along with the blog. No one is saying “dump the open blog”. We’re saying that if the stalkers and troublemakers know they can’t get away with their current behavior they’ll go away or have their accounts closed by Jared, thereby insuring relative peace. Sure, fans will always go off topic or have disagreements amongst themselves, but at least you’ll know WHO you’re arguing with. The way things stand now people change names more frequently than they blink. There needs to be some accountability in place that’s just not there right now.
As for your assertion that X is always brought up here - get used to it, get over it or skip the posts. It’s a fact - X will always be a great source of scorn and derision by J-P fans, whether they would approve of it or not. Why? Because we’re not the J-P’s puppets. Many of the the people making fun of X, myself included, disliked the cow long before Brad and Angie became an item and have a long-standing disgust for everything about the woman. As long as this woman remains the antithesis of everything Brad and Angie represent, as long as we continue to see her obvious famewh#ring and pathetic attempts to remain relevant and put the spotlight on herself when the J-Ps have major life events, then we’re going to belittle and ridicule the idiot for her passive aggressive BS. If you don’t mind my saying so…I did get a chuckle out of it because the same thing happened to me not 2 days before with Alia. But…at least you didn’t then have some moronic stalker put in their two cents and tell you to drop the subject like they were Queen of the Blog. As far as I could tell, for the most part, the disagreement stayed between you and Juju and you weren’t ganged up on by the rest of the posters.
Admittedly I read the posts almost a full day later, but it looked pretty contained to me. You thought you were being very clear in stating your opinion, as did I. But the fact is - sometimes people misread, misinterpret what’s said and get it fixed in their head that they think they know what you meant better than you do, which frankly, is why I didn’t accept Alia’s apology. Small and petty of me? You’re damned skippy. But the whole thing could have been avoided if she had read my original post more carefully and not gone off half-c#cked down the wrong path. It was a COMPLETE MISREAD of what I’d said. And unfortunately, that’s going to continue to happen here because it’s an open blog instead of a forum with clearly defined topic headings. C’est la vie when you’re blogging. If the photo I was once shown of the elder Pitts’ home was the real thing? Then with no children still living at home? They easily have 3 empty bedrooms. The house is quite large for 2 people - unless they have a lot of overnight guests. I’d say the house is probably around 3500-4000 sq. ft. Considering Brad’s Los Feliz house is in the same sq footage range - maybe 5000 if that much? Then the elder Pitts have lots of room for company.
BTW - Let me correct a misconception - the Pitts don’t live in “Springfield” itself anymore. They live in a smaller “suburb” outside Springfield. Any Brad fan is going to know that, but I’m not going to give the name in case the tab trolls and other unsavory folks are trolling. They could find this out for themselves, but why make it easier for them?

However, I also do not trash these people. I do not only post when something negative is said. I always say what I’m going to say which is always positive and always pertains to the thread topic. I always stay away from responding to hater talk. I also do not bring Jennifer into the JP threads any longer. I can respect that others dislike her and fine, whatever, that is their deal. Another thing, one of the main reasons I don’t “defend” is because I don’t bother reading the negative cr*p that haters write. I skip it. Plain and simple.

Anyway, I guess none of this matters because people will believe what they want to believe regardless. So if you want to make me the scapegoat I’m cool with that. It won’t affect me any. Luckily for my black ass I’m in the Northern part of the state. I went to college in Springfield for 1 year and had to transfer back to civilization. Whenever Brad talks about how restricting he upbringing was? I shiver. Springfield is right smack in the middle of the Bible Belt. IIRC there at least 3 bible-based colleges there.
When I went to college there - state school, non-religious, thank the Lord - and when Brad lived there - it was a Dry County, as were many of the surrounding counties. Kids used to have to drive over 2 county lines to find a place to buy liquor. They’re not dry anymore, but that’s been an advent of the last 10 or 12 years. Honest to God - they had moonshiners in the rural parts of the county!
my grandma has 26 grandkids and those grandkids have kids by themselves like me (i have two kids) so all together we are over 50 grandchildren. well i have to say my grandma has 8 kids by herself. so we are really a biiiig family

I have the d-icer. I had it when we had the ice storm, too, but I’m telling you - the shite was totally useless. The ice was an inch and a half thick in some places. D-icer works fine if the ice is less than a 1/4″ thick. Anything over that and you might as well not having anything at all. Let me just say that the hammer was more useful than the d-icer.
