High School sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens (in Mblem) make their first red carpet appearance together at the Palm Springs Film Festival on Saturday in California.
Zac, as usual, had all of his female fans’ panties in a bunch. According to The Desert Sun, five female friends and cousins wore white T-shirts spelling out the word Hairspray in hopes of seeing the teen hearthrob.
“I almost hope it rains, I love it when (Zac’s) wet,” said Bekah Hoesterey, 16, of La Quinta.

The funny thing about the blog by the “former Hollywood publicist” is that even the sites that are reporting it like Queerty and National Ledger are treating it like the cr*p it is. It’s like they’re saying “Yeah we know its the same old tired totally unsubstantiated garbage but Zac and Vanessa get us hits. And we desperately need the hits so here ya go.”

All this negative publicity is giving me a headache……all it proves to me is that Hollywood has a BIG problem.There doesn’t seem to be any difficulty accepting drunkeness,drug taking,sleeping around etc.these are seen as ‘normal’ behaviour for the young Hollywood set.
But give them a young couple who aren’t into all that stuff AND have a strong,committed relationship and they don’t seem to know how to react.
I’m sure Vanessa and Zac are well beyond taking any notice of any of this rubbish.I admire them and think that they are a fantastic example to ‘young Hollywood’.Long may they continue……

just wanted to make one other comment before I give in and go to bed(its just after midnight here) .
Its IMPOSSIBLE for two people to live a complete lie for 2 1/2 years ,even more than that,it would have had to involve too many other people friends,parents etc.
Most importantly….you just can’t fake what the’ve got,that intense chemistry,the looks,the smiles.

Yes, beverley, it is impossible to fake that chemistry, and the fact that 2 years later, they can still look at each other so intensely and with admiration, is just a beautiful thing. Someone who gets you is SO hard to find, and they look like they just love being together!
Why haven’t we discussed Jessica Alba’s comments in Elle Magazine: Jessica said that when she met Zac Efron she was shocked to find a young boy wearing makeup!!
and today the New York Post included a blind item that Zac Efron wears fake eyelashes to enhance his appearance!

go sox…I know a lot of people don’t like Brad and Angelina,but I was looking to their pics from Monday night.THey also don’t have constant ear to ear smiles…but to me they have the same look about them as V and Z,they look right together,comfortable…you get what I mean.

beverley, they do sometimes. It’s a bit of a different look though. They’re older, mature, and parents. Zac and Vanessa have that “hungry eyes” look still, but it’s also becoming an “I love you” look.
