The thing that is so aggravating is one person will print such garbage and then half a dozen people will assume it is true and start making comments about it. Now, most of these people don’t know this as fact, only that they read it somewhere.

It’s like people who go on about how his “true” love is Ashley Tidsdale or Nikki Blonsky. They have absolutely NO evidence of this. Some may post a pic of him with Nikki that is a sweet picture but it is from some photo session connected to promoting Hairspray and the same with Ashley. They don’t have them in numerous candids out doing “Private things” on their “Private time” like Zac and Vanessa or doing a red carpet walk, etc. So, it is like the makeup thing—NOBODY has posted pictures of this young man with all this makeup on which everyone insists he wears. Look at the closeups of some of these pictures and some of the candids from when he went to the gym—-there is no difference for heaven sakes! Yet some people like the ones above will print that because they read it—-these people are SOOOO gullible! Unfortunately, critic and such know that. They know they just have to plant a little seed in some weak-minded or spiteful person and that person does the damage and gets the publicity going.

Emile Hirsh is most likely the person that was being talked about on that blind item. He is getting a lot of publicity for Into the Wild, not to mention you are going to start seeing him everywhere once Speed Racer hits theaters in May.

Most of the haters didn’t give a :censored: about Zac until he stared in Hairspray (Perez sure didn’t! ). And since Zac is one of the biggest tween/teen stars right now and he is what some people would call a ‘pretty boy’ then he is an easy target. Leo got the same ‘gay’ jokes thrown at him too when he was a teen idol! Plus it’s also because Zac is an actor. If he was a musician, then nobody would even care. If half of these musicians wore the clothes they wear in everyday life or to concerts to school, you can bet people would be calling them all sorts of things. For example, that middle Jonas brother. Always wearing tight pants and flat ironing his hair, not to mention being what I think is a ‘pretty boy’ and I don’t see the gay comments being tossed his way.

There is nothing wrong with doing musicals. The first HSM was because it was a job and Zac was a actor trying to make it big. The 2nd one was because of wanting to reunite with the cast/crew (everyone is very close), the money, and because he had fun doing the first one. He did Hairspary because he got very lucky. Zac finally got his first big screen movie with a very good script. A movie that was probably going to do very well in theaters because of the story and the people involved in the project. Plus based on the fact that Hairspary was a project that a lot of people were trying to get involved in and out of all the people they could have picked they chose Zac. Hairspary was not an easy role for Zac to get. He could have easily chosen some role in some teen movie for his big screen debut. HSM3 is most likely for the money and because he likes the people he works with and Footloose isn’t even a guarantee. It’s just being talked about.

IN RESPONSE TO YOUR QUESTION (POSTED UNDER ITEM 1076):

You should go to http://www.salon.com and read the article on Zac Efron’s makeup routine that was included on October 30, 2007 (or you could just google “zac efron makeup salon” to get the article).

The article goes into some detail on the “mancake” foundation that Zac applies to his face and the other makeup and eyeliner that he applies to enhance his feminine appearance.

And didn’t you see HSM 2? Zac had SO MUCH bronzer on his face in HSM 2 that he looked like an Oompa Loompa!!! In fact the person who wrote the movie review of HSM 2 in the New York Times when it came out expressed his shock about how much makeup Zac applied in HSM 2. Just google the New York Times Article.

As for me I think it was unfair of Jessica to attack Zac for his alternative lifestyle. I am in favor of Dont Ask and Dont Tell for all Disney stars (not just Zac).

ZAC can wear what ever he wants! He is still hot that doesn’t make him less than a man! all actors wears make up! So stop that foolish sh**t!

Actually tony the actors do NOT apply any makeup to thier faces, especially bronzer, unless the makeup department for the movie set tells them to. The makeup department does it for them. I am going to go out on a whim and ASSUME that since it was only March or April when they filmed the movie HSM2, that Zac didn’t have a tan…so the makeup department applied bronzer to his skin for him to appear tan, since the movie was set in the summer. If you’ll notice his arms are the same color, which means bronzer was applied to them as well. It happens in all movies. Google that.

By the way, Jessica didn’t attack his alternative lifestyle, she said he was wearing makeup, too much of it. So, in essence, she attacked him.

Actually Zac’s eyelashes are not fake, but naturally curly…as is his hair (well I guess it’s more wavy than curly). :-)

Good job, Reno Dee. I don’t know how people can go against such logic that some of us impart on this site. It just goes to show that some people love to be mean-spirited.

I have absolutely loved this thread because these two would put sparkle and love in any day no matter what. If I need a lift, all I have to do is go to the Orso , the HSM2 DVD release event, or this site to feel a deep happiness and it never ceases to put a smile on my face and in my heart.
