Halle Berry shows off her beautiful bump as she accepts the Desert Palm Achievement Award at the 2008 Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala at the Palm Springs Convention Center on Saturday in Palm Springs, Calif.
The 41-year-old mom-to-be wore a black Temperley Resort dress and Jimmy Choo’s “Even” shoes in black suede. Halle received her award from Hollywood director John Singleton.
Festival chairman Earl Greenberg said Halle was being honored “for her impressive body of work and a mesmerizing performance in Things We Lost in the Fire“.
Daniel Day-Lewis also received the Desert Palm Achievement Award for his work in There Will be Blood. His award was presented by the movie’s director, Paul Thomas Anderson.

She looks stunning for being so far along, then again she always looks pretty! Especially with her longer hair, and that dress is adoreable! I can’t say I have seen too many of her movies but she always does good when I do see them, so yay for her!

I was disappointed that her latest film didn’t do well in the states, at least her performance has been praised and the film has done well overseas and her performance was praised too.
it was just released overseas this month in a limited number of cities.
