Angelina Jolie and goateed Brad Pitt arrive at the 2008 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on January 7, 2008 in Santa Monica, Calif.
Actor/comedian Darryl Lynn “D. L.” Hughley praised Brad and Sean Penn for doing more for black people than the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Hughley then gave Brad a shout-out for his work with NOLA and the Make It Right project. He even joked and called Brad an “honorary Black person!”
The cameras panned over to Brad and Angie at their table. Angie was then seen clapping for Brad.

There was a real precious moment towards the end of the red carpet. I thought. :-) A male interviewer was talking to Chris O’donnell and a very young handsome critic, Marc (didn’t get his last name, shucks). Anyway, behind them you can hear all these screaming fans. Marc was answering a question directed to him and then he stops and says…. pardon me if I stop for a minute….. if Angelina walks by, cause I am going to stop and stare. Aaaaa… that was too cute!! He did manage to stretch his neck (as if he had this third eye in his back for Angie) as she was hurriedy walking by with Brad. :-)
