Ellen Page (in Giambattista Valli) stays classic in black at the 2008 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Monday in Santa Monica, Calif. The Juno breakout star wore Prada pumps and carried a Lambertson Truex bag.
The 20-year-old Canadian actress and costar Allison Janney accepted the award for Best Comedy Movie for Juno. Congrats!
In related news, Juno scribe Diablo Cody’s next project will be a horror film called Jennifer’s Body. Karyn Kusama (Aeon Flux, Girlfight) is likely to direct and Jason Reitman to produce (he directed Juno). Transformers Megan Fox will play the lead, a cheerleader with a perfect life who becomes the girl from hell when she gets possessed and begins killing boys in a small town. REOW!

I saw Juno and I effing loved the movie. Ellen is such a great actress and deserved the award than anyone else. And Ellen is from my hometown Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
