Nikki Blonsky: Mommy and Me Time!

Hairspray charmer Nikki Blonsky enjoys some red carpet time with mother Karen at the 2008 Critics’ Choice Awards held at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium on Monday in Santa Monica, Calif.

Looks like Nikki won’t be using that Golden Globes dress she had after all!

UPDATE: Congrats to Nikki for picking up the award for Best Young Actress. The Hairspray cast was was named Best Acting Ensemble. WOOT!

First Jared thank you so much for the post, you truely do rock!

Second, how freaking gorgeous is Nikki?!?!?!? Her dress is beautiful and I am madly in love with her shoes!! She looks awesome and I am super happy she still keeps very close with her mother, they are adorable!!!

And YAY for Hairspray getting best ensamble!!!!! They totally deserve and I couldn’t be happier for them!!

–and since there is no other thread for the CCA’s just yet I am going to give a big WOOT for Diablo Cody winning best writer for her Juno script, it is phenominal and she soooo deserves it!!

I hope Blonsky (what an appropriate name) takes a look at Ricki Lake. Ricki was almost twice the size of Nikki but she got smart. She realized that she HAD to lose weight. There was no excuse for her to be obese. Nikki please call Riki Lake ASAP,
