If anybody’s interested, here is a timeline from their marriage to divorce. It’s a useful tool to use when dealing with the trolls:

Pets:

04/14/05: Blaming her unhappy childhood for the problems in her own marriage to Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston also admitted that her negative attitude played a role in the breakdown of their marriage.

03/09/05: Brad has returned home to Jen and the pair are in marriage counseling.

ROTFLMBAO. No offense, TRL…but this timeline is bogus. The three things above are just a few examples of how this info came from some foreign gossip site…

1. Brad hadn’t had those 5 dogs for a long time and certainly didn’t have them by the time they divorced

2. That quote attributed to X about her unhappy marriage being due to her childhood issues? X herself denied having said that and it was made up by an Aussie tabloid.

3. There was NEVER any kind of attempted reconcilliaton and certainly not as late as March 5, 2005. Brad was already CHASING Angie at that point. This was something else that was reported by a tabloid - UK NOTW IIRC - and refuted by Cindy G.

I could go on and on, but you get the drift…this “timeline” is about as real as X’s blue eyes.

I miss Angie in jeans. Wonder why we rarely see her wearing them these days?

Yeah, the marriage counseling part of that timeline pinged my BS-meter right away. You try the counseling BEFORE the divorce. And considering that their marriage was falling apart from 2003 on, I think when they made the call to end it in 2005, they were very decided.

Question though…I remember hearing gossip about Jen following Brad to England and lying and saying it was for Derailed reshoots. Does anyone know anything about that?

Although there’s nothing really hateful in any of this stuff, it’s still a little hard to take the person seriously becase…

1. Why post it to Jolie-Pitt Hate Central, ie, Female First. Everybody and their dog knows that’s a vipers nest of Fanistons.

2. Anyone who can’t get the names right - Christine Keeler? - is a little suspect. Brad and Catherine Keener have been friends for over 16 years.

3. Brad wears lifts? ROTFL. Yeah, sure…as if. Look at the scruffy ass shoes the man is always wearing and tell us how he could possibly be hiding a lift in them.

4. Brad likes his women skinny? God…total trollism and puts the veracity of the whole post into question.

#2005: LOL at the number of your post. Maybe it was grief counseling since the marriage was dead, dead, dead.

Nah, he probably returned to give her that ultimate warning cause she wouldn’t sign or maybe that was her condition before signing off on the papers. He probably told her that if she didn’t file, he would and that would have added to her humiliation. She was trying to hold up the process and Brad wasn’t having any of it.

#2010: Please don’t flatter yourself. I don’t hate her, I really could care less about her…big diff. My vitriol is saved for fools like you who cling to the idea that you are able to steal or return a person just as if it was property.

I can believe that Angie lets Brad decide about furniture and stuff. It’s something he cares passionately about, while it’s not a priority to her. Why not let him go nuts? Him picking her clothes though, that cracks me up. Her style has been consistent since like 2002.

This isn’t true about the furniture. When they bought the house in NOLA last year there was a story in some Louisiana newspaper posted here about an antique store that Brad and Angie went to in NOLA and ANGIE bought a bunch of stuff for their new house. Angie likes antiques - don’t you remember how BBT had a fear of antiques and didn’t want them in their house? Well, Brad is Mr. Modernist, so obvioiusly he’s not picking out all of their furniture. BTW, the owner of the store was cited by name and she did confirm that Angie bought some items, but declined to say what.

Haven’t you heard? Brad’s picking out all of her clothes. That’s why she only dresses in black and sometimes white or gray. Cuz, ya know…she NEVER did that before Brad came along and started picking out her wardrobe for her.

#2054: PT, I wonder how this timeline compares to what the fans regard as their timeline. Posters have tried to account for every single detail since the two got together and I just copied the article for a lark so really don’t have any idea how accurate this is. However, the trolls could benefit from this since they don’t seem to have any distinction between yesterday, today or tomorrow.

They supposedly did do marriage counseling in 2003 & 2004. What was there to counsel other than Brad finding a nice way to tell X to fcuk off?

As for the second part of your question - yes, that was a Ted C item back in the days when Ted was still howling at X getting dumped and calling her a coke addict and a snobby beeyotch with zero sense of humor. But…I digress. According to Ted, X heard that B/A were in England at her house, so X flew over there and stalked Brad and Angie. It was after the M&MS premiere when we saw those photos of Brad teaching Mad to ride a dirt bike. X was seen skulking around London and when she eventually ran into someone she knew she told them she was there for Derailed reshoots. The only problem was - she was apparently the only one who knew about the reshoots because the studio said there were no reshoots being done at that time. I think Clive Owen was even already working on another movie at the time.
