James Lynn Spears Studies For Her GED

Expectant mom Jamie Lynn Spears attends a test preparation class with mom Lynne Spears held at the Tangipahoa Parish School System Adult Education Center in Hammond, Louisiana on Friday.

The 16-year-old Nickelodeon star was seen carrying out a GED study guide, used to study for a high school equivalency degree. That’s right. Get that education, Jamie Lynn. You go, girl!

Jamie Lynn announced less than a month ago that she is pregnant with her and boyfriend Casey Aldridge’s first child.

Let’s keep a watchful eye on Ms. Spears–no baby bump in sight yet!

What’s the matter with getting a GED? I dropped out of HS to support myself…obtained my GED and went on to college where I now hold a Masters in Social work. GED does not = low expectations…it = a new start on life.
