OlderMadonna Visists the Mumbai Slums

Madonna and director husband Guy Ritchie are showered by rose and marigold petals by residents as the pair visit a crowded Mumbai slum in India on Tuesday.
Also along for the visit was Madonna’s pal, Australian author Gregory David Roberts, who made the Mumbai slum his home in the early 1980s following an escape from an Australian prison. This story as made into the best-selling novel “Shantaram”.
