Scarlett Johansson For Barack Obama
Here are some pictures of Scarlett Johansson last week, out supporting her candidate of choice, Barack Obama, at one of his Iowa campaign events.
The 23-year-old Lost in Translation star gave a glamorous boost to Obama’s presidential campaign. Scarlett even wore a “Barack Obama” pin on her coat!

Celebs should steer away from politics. Make your financial contribution and stop. No one really cares you’re there. Stick to entertainment…that’s what you’re paid to do.
I always knew she had work done on that nose! I still got my Us Weekly, and her before pic is WAY different than her after. She should just come clean, she isn’t the first and she will not be the last to get a nosejob.

GOD! What I call stupid is reelecting Bush after all he had done and I guess not all US-citizens are actors (meaning stupid in your opinion)?
Besides actual and good actors aren’t as stupid as some of the politicians and not everybody has the brain of the size of Jessica Simpson’s one. So that’s why I see no point in not taking a side since most of the US-citizens seem to be rather interested in “how nice” the candidats are than in what they’re actually doing - in POLITICS.

I agree that some celebrities should stay out of politics, not because they’re stupid or high school drop outs in some cases, but because sometimes they tend to do more harm than good… I know a lot of people who cringe everytime Sean Penn associates himself with any cause, and the backlash tends to ultimately hurt those causes…
Try being in the state of Illinois that he represents and has done nothing for. I am all for an African-American President, but not this guy. He hasn’t finished a Senate term and even more, he has campaigned the whole time in office. I lost a lot of respect for both Scarlett and Oprah. They need to do their research before they get on this band wagon. If he does for this nation what he has for Illinois, I’ll take another term with George Bush. Go Hillary!!!!!

I think Scarlett is doing celebrity/political agendas the right way. She has made no public response through magazines or television and she is quietly supporting a candidate and not lambasting and alienating people because of her politics like George Clooney, Bruce Springsteen, Michael Moore, Barbara Streisand et al. Those four could all learn a thing or two from Scarlett - if you want to be a politician, talk about it 24/7 (like those four) and beg everyone for money that you could easily give to the cause - become a politician!
Scarlett is doing her endorsing the right way - by not acting as if she is a politician herself! WTG for her!
