agree with #23 and #10…..most of the time asian women look for responsible men and most of the time they see responsible characteristics in older men. Let’s quit with the racism, please. Stop generalizing, not all asian women are like that.

I am asian myself. For me and several of my friend (who are asians) we just want someone who are mature and family oriented. I really don’t care what race they are. Not all asian women need a man who can take care of her. I am very independent. I don’t need a man to take care of me, same with my friends. I don’t think many asians are gold diggers, even though some are. Saying that we need an older man is wrong, my mom is older than my dad.

Just saying what is on my mind.

I don’t get the whole problem with her husband; he’s her business and none of ours. Love her jacket, too.

She is considered average-looking in Asia and not a great actress. There are much more beautiful Asian actresses in Japan and Korea. I have travelled and lived in both N. America and Asia. Ziyi is just lucky to have gone to Hollywood and get lucky. I do think that Gong Li is a better actress.

The way Western people women perceive Asian women is stereo-typed. I am of Asian-Canadian decent and do not look that much Asian. In Asian, I have been told that I lookemixed with Caucasian.

Point is that…who cares about who Ziyi is dating. But I must agree, that some women are looking for older guys with cash. That is not every Asian woman. I have dated other races, but ended up happily with an Asian man.

I have heard that many Western men like Asian or Latin women because they look cute or younger than their age. Who knows? Not the majority of Asian women go for Western men. Usually, Western people can’t tell the difference between a real pretty Asian lady versus an average one.

Obviously some real racists on here, including Asians or fake Asians, angry that a rich white guy chose a beautiful, talented, young woman.

This is one of the most beautiful women in the world. And such a fantastic actress. She “went Hollywood”? Give me a break. The cry of everyone who sees someone finally get some recognition. Why not make a movie that people will see and enjoy?

I hope we see more of her — and Gong Li, and Michelle Yeo, and Chow Yun Fat.

Never had eyelid surgery or nose-job. I am a doctor and do not care about having stuff like that done. That is all vanity, which I do no care for. I have children and do not think that face-enhancing operations are necessary. Just an observer in Asia about actresses in general. Why all the hateful assumptions and comments?

I am just stating that Gong Li is the best actress and a gorgeous! And I love Lucy Liu and she has class! I give credit to Zhang…but don’t think that she can act.
