OlderCarrie Underwood: I Smooched Tony Romo
American Idol alum Carrie Underwood is in the January/February issue of Women’s Health magazine.
Interview snip-snips below!
On Tony Romo: “He was not my boyfriend and we were never dating. The more I screamed ‘We’re not dating!’ the more headlines claimed that we were a couple or that I was crying because he was out with another girl. We’re really good friends, we hang out a lot, and we’re close…well, friends smooch occasionally.”
On being a vegetarian: “There was a traumatic incident that made me stop eating beef…And it hit me that these cute little animals that were running around playing would become someone’s dinner. Eating them made me feel guilty.”
On wanting to be a news anchor: “I love being on camera. And I love knowing what’s going on in the world. Diane Sawyer is my favorite. She never seems to lower herself to get the job done. She just always carries herself well. I really admire her.”
On her weakness for ’80s hair metal: “I remember singing Motley Crue’s remake of ‘Smokin’ in the Boys’ Room’ in front of the mirror. That was the age of the real ‘rock star.’ I would like to have experienced that first-hand.”

i like carrie but she should be careful about putting herself out there too much. Since she started with Chace she seems to be in the mags. a lot.
Okay, since when do cows run around playing?? I live in Texas and the most I see cows do is sit in one spot chilling all day under a tree if available, waiting to be someone T-Bone special of the day.

Lily, I don’t know what you are talking about. She is in magazines because she is a singer or somewhat of a celebrity. She was in magazines WAY before Chace and will be in them WAY after him. She is one of the few people that actually keep their private life completely private.
What is wrong with giving an interview and sometimes these magazines just take several interviews and add them together and poof, they have an interview. Heck, OK magazine just bought private pictures that Britney Spears had a photographer take of her and her kids and now they are plaster in OK with “an interview” that Spears never did.

what i was trying to say is that the more interviews etc the celebrity makes the more leverage it gives the tabloids to spin gossip etc and make a mess of them. So being in the mag or being intervied about her singing etc-good but just being there because she is dating someone, that is gossip. WHY? well incase YOU have forgotten, people’s private life is noones buisness and when it becomes that, that is gossip.
I like her. I think she’s very classy and smart, and she shouldn’t be judged for her small-town background, because she’s one clever girl.

This is an interview Carrie did last summer that’s just coming out now. Last summer everyone was asking her about Tony Romo so she couldn’t avoid talking about him. Most of the interview is about adjusting to the limelight, staying in shape, her album, and all that. But it’s the gossip stuff that’s going to be used as a hook to try to get people to read it.
I like Carrie. She may have gotten her break from American Idol but she’s actually talented and she tries to keep the attention on her music instead of being a celebrity attention seeker.
I’m sure a year from now, she’ll be claiming that she and Chace were just friends, too. She has a nice voice, but I haven’t liked ANY of her songs. They all seem boring and formulaic.

This isnt new news. There are tons of pics of her and Tony making out all over the place, I have a lot on my computer! haha
Everyone knows she and Tony were together, and yes, they were dating. She can deny it all she wants, but they hung out, they made out, thats called dating. They may not have been boyfriend and girlfriend, but they were ’seeing each other’.
She and Chace make a much cuter couple. Let Tony be miserable with Jessica wishing he were still with Carrie! ha jk, I dont really care, as long as jessica isnt messin up his game, whatever.
Why is goat face talking about Tony and she’s with Chace? Jealous much Carrie?! I guess her relationship with Chace isn’t serious. Tony and Jess, whether they’re happy or miserable , they’re going to be together for a long time. he has more in common with Jess, than when he was with goat face. Chace could defintiely do better!
