Joaquin Phoenix is Speechless
Joaquin Phoenix accepted the award for Favorite Leading Man during Tuesday’s People’s Choice Awards despite the writers’ strike.
In a taped acceptance “speech,” the 33-year-old actor used cards to get a thank-you message across.
His funny cards read, “I’m speechless without the writers. Seriously. But in my own quiet way, I want to thank the millions of fans that voted for me for favorite leading man.”
Joaquin mumbled a quick “thank you” at the end of his printed message.

On Teddy and Moos, someone posted that a friend saw Joaquin in Brooklyn, few weeks ago with a beautiful lady…
Joaquin is a better actor than River….. River himself said that.
He’d said that Joaquin was the more talented of all the Phoenix.
Both River and Joaquin were amazing actors. For those who have never seen River in an adult role I would suggest renting My Own Private Idaho. The constant snipping by both sets of fans is depressing and I agree as a River fan I get cheesed off whenever Joaquin is interviewed they bring up River.

Joaquin is a single guy and should be able to date as many different girls as he likes. He is not making these girls go out with him. It is their choice.
He has never married and hasn’t gone thru countless divorces. Must give him credit on that one. Maybe one day, someone will get him to the altar. Until then, he is enjoying his life which he should.
He is enjoying being a hit it and quit it kind of guy.

I am going to miss his acting work. I love him and I love his talent. What a waste. I wish he was not retiring from acting.
