When is her album coming out?

#74 Yes I believe the next hearing in the lawsuit is still set for next Tuesday the 15th. And you’re right Vanessa probably won’t be there unless the judge requires she be there which could possibly happen.

I’m not sure I’m into the scarf with the tanktop look but I guess she’s just trying to do her own thing here which is cool. It’s good to see that she’s being giving the freedom to take more time on this album as opposed to her first one which only two months to record and release. Hopefully Hollywood Records will do more promotion on this one.

Blender Magazine has named it as one to watch for this which means its generating some positive buzz or at the very least some interest. Which is good to see because she deserves it.

Vanessa’s first album went gold and settled in at #24 on the Billboard charts. Is that really considered a bomb? I know that isn’t exactly burning up the charts but still I always thought that was considered moderately successful especially considering it didn’t get much in the way of promotion.

I know this question has been answered before on one of the other threads but I don’t remember which one. If someone can give an unbiased answer I would appreciate it.

I think that judging whether her album was a success or a flop in this case is subjective to the person judging it. It wasn’t technically a “success” in the eyes of most people in the music industry, however it wasn’t a bomb either. It did sell more than half a million copies. Therefore for fans it will obviously be taken as a successful album, and for others, maybe not, but I don’t think it’s fair to say that it was a bomb.

Okay, so we all have this dream of what kind of roles Vanessa or any of the Disney Channel stars to have one day right (cough Monique for Drama!)? For crystal, it would be Matt Damon’s leading lady in the next Bourne film and trust us, there will be another one if we have anything to say about it. And everyone does know crystal, right? But what if we told you that our, meaning Chay and me, dream is sort of edging out crystal’s dream right now. Direct from Austin 360, Justin Timberlake is said to be heading straight to Austin, Texas to film a movie and they give us a hint about three of them that are being filmed - the last one - “Will,” which shoots Austin soon and is about a battle of the bands at a high school and supposedly stars our own, Vanessa Hudgens and Liam Aiken, from Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. So what is “Will” about? That, we’re still in the shadows about. But as soon as we find out more, we’ll tell you.

But just think about it. Justin Timberlake, the Prince from old school Disney Channel meets Vanessa Hudgens, the current reigning Princess of new school Disney Channel on the big screen. Together. Chay and I will beg and plead our way to the premiere….no matter what it takes. But just remember - this information is not confirmed, but we’re hoping and praying that it is. So, cross your fingers and pray we get something back from the casting director on the film!

The spa surroundings seem much more likely. I kept thinking that the background didn’t look anything like the studio in other pictures we had seen! Also, why are the pictures so bad and blurry? You can “enlarge” them either like normally.

Hollywood Reporter: “High School Musical” star Ashley Tisdale will make her feature film debut in 20th Century Fox’s adventure comedy “They Came From Upstairs.” John Schultz is directing with Barry Josephson producing.

Also cast in the movie are “Step Up 2 the Streets” star Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins (”Viva Laughlin”) and Austin Butler “Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide”). Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young are also cast.

The script, by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg, revolves around a group of teens who team up to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens who have invaded via the upstairs.

Joe Hartwick Jr. is co-producing while Marc S. Fischer is exec producing the movie, which is being co-financed by Fox and Regency. Fox is distributing.

Marc Resteghini is overseeing for Fox while Kara Francis Smith shepherds for Regency.
Production starts at the end of January in Auckland, New Zealand.

Tisdale is best known for playing rich-girl Sharpay Evans in the “High School Musical” movies. She will first shoot “Upstairs” before moving on to the third installment of Disney’s money-making phenomenon, which is being prepped as a theatrical feature for the first time.
