Roseanne Barr Hates Oprah

Roseanne Barr Hates Oprah

Actress/comedian Roseanne Barr has made some wild accusations in her latest blog about talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Here’s a summary of what she said (with spelling and grammar fixed):

Barack is an empty suit selling “hope” in lieu of Truth
Oprah helped to elect Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their “fair share” of Cali tax.
Oprah has given us Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope.
Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too. You are a closeted republican and chose Barack because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, Hollywood and dieting!
– It is historical that Oprah, beloved of women, chooses a flashy man with small credentials over a seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience…and sells that to the female demographic who look to her for inspiration!

OUCH!!!!!

at the end of the day, as history has shown us, ALL politicians are da same in that they cannot and will never be able to solve our problems. a lota them try, some more than others buts its futile. As for Oprah, i think her only fault is putting too much hope in this one man. Sounds like Rosie is being too hard on her.

roseanne barr just wants attention. she’s like the wingnut who sits on the front porch with a bottle of whiskey, an old hound and a bottle of voka, bitching about life and saying outlandish ****. and like that old *****, she should just be ignored.

oprah is golden, she’s the real deal, and so is barack obama. if people had any balls, they would vote for barack. the machines that have been running washington have left quite a mess and someone strong needs to go in and clean that **** up. barack is the man.

I kinda agree with her. I mean, a black man becoming president of the USA, it’s a strong symbol and something I’d like happening during my lifetime. But indeed, Mrs Clinton has the experience! I’m torn.

thats a f*cking funny blog and shes a 100 % right. Oprah is a stupid bandwagon jumping b*tch

obama is a soulless wishywashy f*ck and hilary is f*cking useless with no real policies. only one with any decency is Kucinich. The rest can f*ck off and die as far as i am concerned.

I 100 % agree with her. Oprah is only endorsing Obama because he is black, I remember when “White Chicks” cast were guests on her show, she praised the movie to the skies and said ridiculous things like it was the funniest movie she has ever seen etc.
I wish all the mindless followers would look beyong his charm and looks and actually pay attention to what Obama is saying. He really is totally inexperienced when it comes to foreign policy and offers only empty rhetoric.

GO HILARY!

Loathe Oprah. What a self-serving and haughty control freak she is. And the masses of desperate housewives that fawn over everything she tells them is important are just as bad.

i think that she’s being to harsh on oprah!

Roseanne is a loose cannon. LOL!!!! She gets it wrong more than she gets it right. Fisrt of all, both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are really intelligent. OK? So is John Edwards. They are all really intelligent people. And frankly, I feel like no matter which one of them comes out on top we will ALL win. Bcz there is not one single Republican who can ever again make me think about voting for a Republican. None. Nada. And I think all this arguing among the Dems is wrong. Yes they are campaigning. But they need to focus on the Republicans. People are angry at Bush. Why don’t they go after what is wrong in Washington instead of being negative about each other. Roseanne needs to STFU! If Barack Obama is gaining support, it is bcz his message of hope and believing in yourself and saying “Yes we can!” is something people really need right now. We have been totally smushed by Bush and all the terrible things that have happened in the last eight years. Beginning with the Supreme Court stealing the 2000 election for him. So the people are ready for a change. They are ready to stop being ruled by fear and would rather be ruled by hope. I am all for that. Hillary is a brilliant person. But why didn’t her and her husband criticize Bush all these years? Instead, Bill Clinton is always hanging around them. I don’t trust that. Bush is an evil man. But if Hillary is the one who wins the nomination, I will vote for her. I sure wish Al Gore would have run.

Well, both candidates are kinda equally good, depending on what you like for the future president to do or be . Let her write whatever she fancies, otherwise the 1st amendment would not exist. Please no censorship and respect her opinions, either if you like them or not; they don’t necessarily have to be all the truth.

OMG, she’s so right! other people don’t have the guts to say that. harsh but true. Obama is a big talker.

Roseanne makes good points and it hurts to say that because I love Oprah

Angelina Jolie is hoping baby No. 5 will be her second biological child with Brad Pitt.

Wow… someone forgot her meds again. She also needs to check her math, Hilary does not have 35 years of political experience I believe it is 8 years as a Senator. Being a first lady does not equate political experience, especially when most of her “terms” as first lady were marred with scandals.(Lewinsky , Hilarycare and Whitewater). Most voters have enough sense to investigate each candidate before making a decision. No one is voting for Barack because Oprah says so. *sheesh*

I agree w/Rosane in that Oprah is a seller of empty hopes, Oprah plays the race card very well, while in the same time NEVER addressing the true problem of colored women, none to say colored peoples.
Oprah will never stand for anything that is controversial or that will harm her bottom line.
Oprah is a fake.
She only cares about what whiddle upper middles class white women has to say - they are the ones buying her products.
I do not know any and I mean any color woman or men or family that is middle class or lower that can practice any of the things she preaches…
Oprahis another lie that the “main stream” sells, we in the lower end of the spectrum are too busy keeping up with their lies to have any time for important things like:
-Equality among social class, gender, sexual orientation, etc
-Social Justice
-Fair taxes
you name it, Oprah does not have an opinion, she is another entretainer that is there to take our time up, feeding us impossibles and making us desire the vanalities of life instead of substance… instead of a meaningful life.

I know lots of people - including my soon-to-be-can-not-wait-to mother in law and husband - that do not like Hillary.

Among all, she is the one that have so much experience and if you travel abroad, she does have INSTANT credibility and love of the people… electing Hillary will further our goal of repairing our image abroad.

I am not saying that I like EVERYTHING about that person, but I know she learns from her mistakes and she does study and take into consideration the knowledge of people…

I do not think that there is another more fit candidate at this moment, except for Edwards, but his “war to poverty” is not gaining track, Mr K has great ideas, but he will never be elected - he does not look Presidential.
On the Republican side the only open minded person - half way is… oh man! I can not recall… I guess there is no one… however Ron Paul does have very good ideas and implementatio n plans to bring this country back to a Republican way of goverment.

I like him (Ron Paul)

That said, I do not know that he would be able to implement his ideas due to the imperialistic nature of US interest abroad…. too much money, too much grid….

too many Oprahs.

I have been saying for the last 15 years, she is a fake.

Oprah is a fake….

While I agree with Roseanne on some points, people who vote for Obama because he’s black or a man are just as ridiculous as people who pick Hillary because she’s a woman. The insinuation is that Oprah should sponsor Hillary. My personal view, though I don’t watch Oprah, is that she should use her show to educate people about the candidates and the importance of voting instead of sponsoring any particular candidate or party. Same goes with California elections. It is HER show and really, she can do whatever the f— she wants.

More offensive than Dr. Phil is Girls Behaving Badly.

I totally agree with Roseanne. Oprah gave Arnold a free hour of advertising when she had him on her nationally televised show because she is friends with his wife. That is irresponsible! she completely softballed George Bush in 2000 and skewered Al Gore. No she acts differently by going on the campaign trail and thinking it has nothing to do with her show. Obama is too vague and has a very poor record toward working people.
