OlderRoseanne Barr Hates Oprah
Actress/comedian Roseanne Barr has made some wild accusations in her latest blog about talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Here’s a summary of what she said (with spelling and grammar fixed):
– Barack is an empty suit selling “hope” in lieu of Truth
– Oprah helped to elect Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their “fair share” of Cali tax.
– Oprah has given us Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope.
– Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too. You are a closeted republican and chose Barack because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, Hollywood and dieting!
– It is historical that Oprah, beloved of women, chooses a flashy man with small credentials over a seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience…and sells that to the female demographic who look to her for inspiration!

She is right,Oprah is a closet racist.All those white women that worship her do not realize this.But if you listen to the comments she makes about the school she opened in suoth africa “I do not owe anything to the white folks in africa” I have white people serving me” .I do not like her or Obama.VOTE Hillary.

I agree with GBW up there, if Oprah had any brains or were in any way interested in the future of America, she would have used her power and the “Oprah Machine” to educate people that watch her show… she does have the platform and the money to do so, instead she whines about inner city kids that want iPod… what a greedy person…
My kids go to a inner city magnet HS, and they DO use their iPods for homework… I do not know what the kids that do not have one do, but when I read that I felt anger, Oprah is disconected and she simply does not care.

Mr Bill Gates and in s smaller manner Mr Dell have put some of their money where their mouth are, here and abroad they help High Schoolers… and they give away laptops and so on… they fund special program that the over taxes middle class and the lower economical classes can no longer bear and help out.
Oprah goes and donate in a country where her status will not be challanged… she is cheap.
Just look into her New Orleans “effors” it only consist in lending her face to tell people to donate, along with corporate donors… she does not put any substancial amount of money of that effort but she sure takes credit for it… with her money she could have completelly rebuilt a war….
But noooooo…. she just goes for some foto ops and she goes back to her dogs…
Oprah is not worth it, I not only have not watch her shows, but I do not support anything she does…
She is sneaky and mean.

I keep hearing about Hilary’s experience…being a governor who becomes president wife doesn’t constitute experience…I mean if that’s the case let’s elect Laura Bush into Senate and have her run in four years too…I mean come on…
Obama will be another GWB - a president with “handlers” because he does not know anything about anything…

I’m not a fan of Roseanne’s BUT she is speaking the truth.
Obama has very little experience.
I use to love Oprah but as she gets older; her true self is showing. Oprah has little care about the working poor in America and truly loves catering to the upper class.
It would be a grave mistake for the Democrats to elect Obama as their candidate.
He is NOT electable as President simply because NO Republican will vote for him. He has Muslim ties (his father is a Muslim and he was raised as one)…. I have nothing against the Muslim religion as I respect all religions but considering post 911 & what’s happening in Iraq & Afghanistan; Does anyone really believe Obama will be elected President of the U.S.???

I do like Obama, but I think he should finish at least one senatorial period before he does anything else… he does not have his own ideas… his ideas are base on books and people telling him what to do… not of experience and negotiation skills….
As I said before, we need some open minded brainy person in the Oval Office..
I absolutely agree with her!! (And I have a PhD, under 30, and live in CA, all things pollsters have linked to Obama supporters…well, I’m not! He talks pretty but has no concrete plans and little actual experience.)

i totally agree with Rosanne. Oprah has never been concerned with real issues that matters to all women, not just shallow women who watches her show everday. i’m a black woman and i have no feeling or connection with Oprah at all. i will vote for hillary clinton!

this election is very important and we must take back our future . Hillary is the right person for tjis difficult job. I support her 100%. Roseanne is so brave for expressing her views against all the hate that surely will come her way. VOTE HILLARY!

It’s scary to think that the Democratic nomination for president could go to a man with less than a full term as a Senator under his belt and no viable track record for voters to use to learn what he really stands for. It’s even scarier to think that someone like Oprah Winfrey would use her media influence to endorse a candidate like that. Give him 10 or so more years learning and serving the country and I might consider him a safe candidate. It’s sad that his main competition is Hilary Clinton, because there is no way in h*ll she could ever get elected.
