OlderRoseanne Barr Hates Oprah
Actress/comedian Roseanne Barr has made some wild accusations in her latest blog about talk show host Oprah Winfrey and Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. Here’s a summary of what she said (with spelling and grammar fixed):
– Barack is an empty suit selling “hope” in lieu of Truth
– Oprah helped to elect Arnold Schwarzenegger. I have no doubt that she voted her purse by doing this, as she is a large land owner in California, and that ilk fears Dems because they do not want to pay their “fair share” of Cali tax.
– Oprah has given us Dr. Phil. If that was not offensive enough to decent thinking people, now she brings us Obama. He has no ideas, no plan and nothing to add other than the cynical pacification of the masses with bedtime stories about hope.
– Oprah, you play the race card and the gender card too. You are a closeted republican and chose Barack because you do not like other women who actually stand for something to working American Women besides glamour, angels, Hollywood and dieting!
– It is historical that Oprah, beloved of women, chooses a flashy man with small credentials over a seasoned woman politician with 35 years of experience…and sells that to the female demographic who look to her for inspiration!

Oprah IS totaly all about the BLACK people!!! That is a given, she always has been. Backing Obama does her no good. Not because he is black but because he has little experiance. Quit frankly I have a problem with electing anyone with a Muslim name, I could care less if he is black. If he can do the job and do it right that is all that matters. I just don’t think he can, and I do NOT want someone to be president that has the same last name as most the people that want to blow us up!

Ha! I love her - crazy as she can be. She’s right on this.
And do not compare Hillary’s tenure as First Lady with that of those housewives who played hostess. Her work while first lady was much more policy oriented and driven than almost any other’s - she’s much more comparable to Eleanor Roosevelt than the Bushes.
Unfortunately Obama’s run for the presidency is premature. Considering he had the incredible benefit of a door opening Harvard law degree his experience and accomplishments are underwhelming. He needs more experience on the national and international level before he is ready. Three years as some mediocre law firm associate (only second chairing cases) and 7 years as a state legislator just doesn’t cut it at this level. He’s lucky the stronger Republican Senate candidate suffered a campaign ending scandal in the middle of the race and all Obama had to run against was the certifiably insane Alan Keyes or Obama would still be back in Illinois. Obama has great potential and I like a lot about him but this campaign is an exercise in ego and it’s showing.
Maybe you have to be a little nuts to be as open and honest as Roseanne is. You go, girl.

You mean Osama, and that’s his first name. I think it’s Barack Obama’s middle name (Hussein?) that is/sounds Muslim.
Nothing wrong with that (what’s in a name), but I think if he became the candidate, the Republicans will bash him for his Muslim connection and scare the voters. I think the Republicans would love for the Democrats to choose Barack Obama.

I also agree with re: your analysis of Hillary’s role during Bill Clinton’s presidency. Although Bill is the Rhodes, the mumblings during his Presidency was that she was the brains…I’m not saying this is true, but she is no dummy and is very policy savvy.

I disagree! People are giving their opinions. What’s wrong with that? Voters will make up their own minds. Some people already know, some like to read what others have to say and then decide.
Well, Roseanne is as ignorant as I thought she always was. This from a woman who married TOM ARNOLD???!!!!. Obama has a fresh take on the old school politics. Hillary is a manipulative, out to get em fake. She voted for the Iraq war TWICE! When her numbers were down, she went through a crying fit to show poor women how alike them she is and to get sympathy! I did not believe those shameful tears for a minute! In common with American women? Hillary has nothing in common with most poor or middle class women besides a physical commality of being female. She is a rich conniving political ***** who wants power. And she has always been filthy rich. Yeah, a lot in common! Roseanne needs to check Hillary’s record a bit. So isn’t Hillary playing the Gender card? Gouing after woman and claiming how alike them she is? Obama has not once discussed his race in thi race. Besides, Obama is BOTH black and White. 1. NO EXPERIENCE….Hillary has been in politics since her college years when she campaigned for Goldwater. He is a freshman senator.
2. Compared himself to JFK and MLK JR…….what kind of arrogant man would even dare say that? JFK was in the congress for 14 years, while MLK is a national hero. What have you done, Obama?
3. Is Muslim. This will not help with US and Middle East relations because he will not have US interests in mind, as Muslims always aid their Brothers first.
4. Will Not say the Pledge of Allegiance.
5. Makes speeches as if he were a PREACHER….gimme a break!
6. Is totally against abortion.
Do not elect this cocky, arrogant man who Dreams Big with no Plan. I guarantee if he is elected, there will be another 9/11 because foreigners will know that the US is now vulnerable. Why do u think they attacked when Bush came into office. They saw a weak man in office.
P.S. Ron Paul may sound like he has great ideas, but they are not realistic whatsoever….he is an idealist, which appeals to a lot of young, liberal people……but none of his plans would EVER be able to pan out because they are so extreme.

Against abortion? That would be the only positive thing about him if it’s true. I can’t for the life of me understand why people can’t see the problem with that. I understand that abortion may HAVE to be used in some circumstance but those circumstances should be very huge medical and health issues. Not just because some loose woman wants to get rid of a baby. I am so sick of this even being an issue. More people worry about eating beef and all the poor, poor, little abused animals than they do about actual human babies being torn into pieces and thrown in the trash. Anyone who is FOR abortion loses my vote just for that!

I think the Republicans will definitely do that, and if Hillary is the candidate, they will tell voters that Bill will be chasing interns.
You know, I don’t think he will. He will look, but he has no time to chase. He is older now. He has had heart surgery. He has been given a second chance at life. He will do everything to make it up to his wife and the people.
He would improve relations with other countries. WJC is very popular outside the US. He will go on raising money for charity and AIDS victims. He will only look at pretty girls. Nothing wrong with that? My husband looks at pretty girls. I look at cute guys.
